Ah okay, you guys don't still do the whole kapparot and kol nidre before and for services right? No need right lol we have Christ!
Just a friendly update of encouragement....
Sukkot is only 7 days away!
This time next week I'll be celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles. My family and I will have sent up our tent for the next 9 days, and we'll be surrounded by friends and family for the duration of the festival.
Our conference is about "Possessing the Land". Just as God sent Joshua and Israel across the Jordan to possess the land set aside for them, God is sending us to possess the inheritance He has for us in our lives.
Truth is, we've been promised an inheritance by God. Sadly, too many people are content with the knowledge that there is an inheritance waiting for them out there some day, some where. But since God's Kingdom is here and now, we can possess that inheritance now, and use it for God's glory.
Looking forward to it!

It's just very unbiblical for traditions to continue right?...modern liturgies of judean practices, especially ultra-orth...
Hey, nice thread, I like the idea, haven't celebrated Sukkot/Feast of tabernacles, or much of any other to my knowledge yet, wanted to do the original communion, as recorded in scripture. I was also wondering, if you don't mind me asking, what kind of church you go to, or what denomination, that does these sort of events, in the manner, as stated above?

You mean like the mass of Christ and Ishtar? Traditions that have been around for over 4000 years? Yep, these are unBiblical, on the other hand, God's Feast days are the shadow of things yet to come.
Yea but the traditions of judaism that changed so radically more religious, I think, with the teachings outside the tanach like the Tulmid. Judaism keeps changing all over, it makes Christianity seem more Jewish than the devout deluted jews...because it is haha!!
Interesting, is it like a messianic beth el? Those messianic synagogues can get a lot of people's interests. But yea so like you were saying about the oath, what is your church's variation just curious? True Christmas and Easter is tradition. But I believe those events are to be remembered always not just through one day of the year tradition lol. Especially Christian resurrection day (Easter) should be remembered with communion of the bread and wine.
We go to a Hebrew Roots Christian Church. It's not a part of any denomination. We're Christians who realize the entire Bible is still applicable today. We celebrate the Sabbath and keep all of the Biblical Feast days. In reality, all of these things point right to Jesus and our relationship with Him.
Hallelujah for the Cross that we can worship in Spirit and in Truth every day
Kohen I am glad that you have accepted Christ, but by celebrating these feast and adhering to the law. negates the work of the cross, attending these events or just fine as long as your faith is firmly planted in the work of the cross. God did not accept these feast or sacrifices and He will not accept them now. The only thing that God will accept is faith in the work of His son on the cross and nothing else.
