The Devil has entered the Church!

In the Netherlands preachers loved to give long sermons. That's why there used to be an hourglass on every pulpit. It was turned at the beginning of the sermon and the sand would run for about an hour. The saying was that after that 'the devil would enter church,' because an hour of preaching is usually about all anyone can stand.

I say use discernment. There are some very good solid things. They may be modern in style but what is behind them is purely of God. I find the statement that the church is being destroyed to be a bit much. We all have choices if something offends the Spirit then take no part in it.

The topic about music in Church has been an issue as the years have
progressed. When we look back to when we sang out of hymnals, and
if you can google " hymnals" and find some songs, you will be amazed
at how Glorified God is, how He is revered, how Jesus shed Blood at
Calvary saves. I could go on and on. I do understand the change. I was
in middle of it. From Hymnals, which are awesome when sung with the
feeling of the Holy Spirit guiding filling you. Then moved on into the 70's
to Worship and Praise, and it was beautiful . I still remember songs from
that era 70's 80's, and then..... it changed drastically and I think this is
where our topic is TRUTH. It seems the louder, the harder the drummer
can beat the drums, the faster the beat, the more the flesh is feeling what
the people think is the Holy Spirit. No, sorry, the Holy Spirit is a gentleman.
He does not act wild and crazy. Which brings me now to the SLAMMING
coming into the YOUTH groups. I have heard this week, some older people
are getting into it as well. One can believe what they want, and God will
be the judge. But, we can't justify the satanic beat and movements. I
also heard it has come down to the gyrations which are not 'spiritual',
are becoming popular. I say, pray.. those who know the Lord Jesus,
knows He would not approve such actions. I believe He weeps when He
sees "satan in the church".... People can and will always disagree, but
we can not ever change the Word of God to suit our Spiritual walk if we
want to be taken up to live with Him for eternity. Please keep our Youth
in prayer.... Ask for the parents to open their eyes and see if what their
youth are doing, goes against Gods Word, the have courage to stand up
for righteousness. For the parents who are beginning to have to teach
their children how NOT to be like the world, but to live morally and act
as Christ would be pleased with, may they have wisdom to guide the
young God has given them for this day. He is returning soon. Please be
praying for our leaders to repent for following false teachers. May they
repent and bring the Church back to the where there is reverential fear
of God. This is not a time for playing, it is time for those who have ears
to hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to say ~ Amen

We want movers, shakers, decree and declaration makers, prayer warriors and servants of God in a true and genuine assignment who understand their calling. I feel like the fear of a sound is what many are calling Satan or ungodly. My tastes in music are on the harder side the sound I like however I also like worship music. Once again, the band that Nautilus has posted above, one of my favorites among many bands out there. Every song they have speaks the truth and how can the truth be wrong no matter how it is delivered. All of these judgments made based on sound, it makes me sad. Most every song has been written over the thousands of years in one form or another. Although the notes are in different timing and the style may be different are we to believe that a drum beat is evil? Or that a vocal is evil? Do you see good fruit here? I do. A song by the band For Today that, one of my favorites and it may sound abrasive to some but as with the above song stop listening to the notes, the tone and listen and read the words. If you can find anything wrong with that then I will consider it. However, I can find nothing wrong here other than some people may not have this taste in music. For Today - Devastator.

When we win souls Hell trembles and Heaven rejoices. This band is fearless in proclaiming the truth. All the credit to the Lord. Notice they say, "I will stand behind my savior as he burns your kingdom down." No self serving pried or glory to self. All credit is given to God. This is a song about spiritual warfare and in that having your mind set on the things above and not the things of this world. About having the power of Christ through Christ who dwells in us. For a "satan in the church" song this certainly gives satan no power in my eyes. It does give the glory to God. What's wrong with that? The only thing I can see in all of the fear is the same fear that I have seen in those who fear what they do not know. Those who fear what is different not in message but in sound and in culture. So for the most part in discussions like this most people are so set in their ways that people must agree to disagree. There is a radical sound here but the message is pure and unmistakable. If you look at other bands like this you will find the same. Now not all bands are so direct and in fact some are vague in their message but this is true of a lot of "Christian" music.

To reveal a screaming guitar riff in his glory?

When any Holy angel addressed a man...ya know, such as a messenger of the Lord does
was it in a fear me screaming manner, or would that be more the enemies approach?

There is a lot,,,and I mean A LOT of Lukewarness going on in music not just people.
The very same as Jesus spoke of when those who will say
"Didnt we cast out demons in your name?"

We can see the contrast in difference between What pleases the Lord..

No, it is a brother in the Lord who is calling out worldly compromise for what it is. "Christian" rock and "Christian" rap are not of the Lord.

As far as the "fear me" I believe it more a portrayal of how satan views us as Christians. I believe it to be true. It is said that even demons believe and tremble. We have that same Spirit living in us the Spirit that makes demons tremble. If you think that an evil spirit can not sense the Holy Spirit in us and the effect we have through Christ just as we can sense an evil spirit, I can't agree. As far as what God commands angels to do I don't know and I don't know what music sounds like in heaven. I am no angel though. I have heard many different styles of preaching some shouting. It is my personal belief that it is the message itself. And messages are delivered in many different ways. In the same way that many people fear what they don't understand or dislike certain types of music or styles of clothing. I think it is the musical style that some Christians don't like, however I don't like certain types of music either. I'm not a big fan of old hymns and I find no joy or excitement in the mundane monotone way they are sung in a lot of churches. This is a preference and opinion on style or a preference. I'm not judging these very laid back songs. I believe in the joy and the power of worship though. I can get into what would be contemporary worship and praise even. What is being said here though in the example that I posted is not an arguable point to me. If you want to argue styles or speculate on music or say that it is screaming guitars and voice it is not more of a volume in voice or instruments than a fast paste gospel group with a powerful singer.

And worldly contrast? Is anyone aware that the clothing worn today is different than the clothing 2,000 years ago? Or the cars that we drive. Are those worldly contrast? I just find it difficult for what is mainstream in older Christianity to be acceptable when even that has changed over the years as people have changed. Jesus was in the world and was very different but form what I can tell he dressed like the people of the time. People and culture change the Truth does not? Is someone here saying the truth is not in these songs?

Have you heard the descriptions of Jesus' second coming? He's going to be cracking some demonic skulls, and He's pretty scary souding at that time. Just because the message is being delivered at a (to some) terrifying pace doesn't make it any less valid.

I think that's the argument, yes.

Or at least that because the songs are aggressive, that the truth is apparently lost somehow. I guess the people who argue that have never seen a soldier praying in a fox hole, or been right at the brink of a car accident where you can see the other car coming and you know you can't stop it and your heart cries out to God in desperation.

FWIW, I've never been a soldier, so I haven't seen one praying in a fox hole, but I've talked to plenty who did minister to others through their unwavering faith in Christ Jesus at a terrifying time in their lives. And no, I'm not glorifying killing people here either.



Are there artists who falsely label themselves as Christian and produce harmful Rap or Rock music? Yes absolutely. I'm reminded of one just now - Klay Scott of Celldweller fame. He signed on as a "Christian" artist back in his Circle of Dust days, and he's later quoted as having done it simply because a label was going to sign him. FWIW, I still like some of his music, but I don't view it as very instrucitonal most of the time as he's on quote as having said he believes in God, but he doesn't rally at any particular cause. Not what I'd hold up as a Christian artist personally, although I still think Frozen is one of the best songs I've ever heard about the dark side of pornography (NOT child friendly though).

Songs can be evil or not: just listen to their words. If a song talks about love or peace like the one I just posted in the Christian music folder, this is a good song. No matter if it's a rock genre's music .

I apologize if I came off as judgmental, I was taking the attitude of expecting someone to understand the message without having to educate first in the reasons behind the message.
Such as frequency...vibrations...and the physiological affects on the body which most people don't understand or realize simply for being unaware.


Have you ever heard of the experiments done with light on the human body
Its just light..seems harmless enough right?
Light, energy, its a frequency, it travels in waves
Like music does, and affects us as humans...as music does

When that is messed with by mans so called wisdom (which as the word of the bible tells us that a mans ways may seem wise to himself but in the end lead to destruction) Secretion of melatonin, the “sleepy hormone,” is blunted. At night, as originally designed when the only visible light is historically the longer wavelengths, the yellows, oranges, and reds which we create through campfires, or candles, or gas lamps, melatonin secretion is unaffected. We get sleepy like we should, when we should. All is well.


But we don’t use candles and oil lamps at night anymore, do we? We use white LED lights (blue light) and stare into laptop (blue light) and high-def TV (blue light) screens. We use our iPhones (blue light) or Androids (blue light) in bed, even waking up in the middle of the night just to check our email (blue light) because “why not, we’re up anyway!” To really get a sense of this, next time you take a nighttime stroll around your neighborhood, pay attention to the living rooms of the houses you walk past. If they’re got their plasma or LCD going, the lights off, and it’s dark out, the entire room will be bathed in an overpowering blue light. It’ll look like a scene from an alien abduction movie or something. Of course, whether the room lights are on or off, that blue light from the screen is still there, beaming directly into the eyes of those present and affecting the secretion of their melatonin.



And thats just light which cannot be felt

How about electromagnetic radiation?

Theres many things influencing, the devil knows about since he has been able to experiment on us like lab rats for thousands of years ...that we dont perceive.

I wonder if that has something to do with why man may have heard Gods voice much more clearly back in the ancient days. Less of mans technological interference blocking him out.

See what you can find regarding harmonics to the 6th as opposed to the 7th such as Tritones which impress an oppressive or irritating or scary sort of sound--such as in a thriller movie for effect.
Listen to the Jaws theme...see how it effects you
It might be interesting to find how many of these harmonics are in todays harsher musack
Sure you can get used to it, its tolerable,
The thing is, once one becomes de-sensitized and say they like it...how many more other thingsa is one desensitized to in compromise.

Cumulative effects, how many of them do we induce upon ourselves compared to how many influences of the Lord we bathe ourselves with to keep us washed clean.



...should a message delivered by us as messengers for the lord have to be educated for one to understand it.
Or should it be presently clear so there is no confusion
IE: should a band have to explain why they sing the way they do and the real message they are portraying ?
Or should it be clear to those receiving it so it is known the there is no confusion or an author of.
Sound effects humans every bit as much as words, but on the instinctual level which doesn't use words

Look at the way people dress in the summer time in church so they look "sexy". I am in desperate need of help with driving to groceries, and I can't get to church service and no one will help. Most people in the church have been divorced, and single mothers are a big group. At least 50% has no idea of what God says about sex, or would they listen if they did. The fashionable thing in the church is to say they are too spiritual to obey such worldly things as the ten commandments. They deny that God gave them bodies to live in and a world of beauty that can reflect God.

People are so desperate for direction and help with discipline in their lives that they are leaving in droves for any "religion" that tells them to be disciplined. They don't care if it has truth and God in it, they just want the better living discipline can give them. Our church is hiding that from them.

I agree with you. There are many different ways to show detachment by Gospel and church: bad and satanic music is only one of them. I personally think that many people who go to church on Sunday, they do it because of an habit they had since they were children without understanding the beauty of the meeting with God and listen to His words. Many people just go into and out the church, with the same attitudes while being Christian means to listen carefully to the Gospel and then try to use it everyday in our life.
I'm too in great difficulty to go to church because of my diseases and this causes me pain but I think that our house can become a church everytime we pray and we talk to God.

Repent! Repent and be converted!
Produce fruit so that your daily repentance will be a true repentance. The kingdom of heaven is at hand. It's almost here! We are seeing end time dreams, we are seeing wars and rumors and the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached almost in every Nation. Revivals are breaking out every where. Even in Arab Nations, the Gospel is preached and now it reaches every where. Repent!

1. Let us Repent and Cry out for our own soul, for our family and for our friends. There will be many Church members, pastors and preachers left behind and that is because they lack holiness. Holiness is possible for those who are totally controlled by the holy spirit. Let us be hungry for righteousness and stay in perfect obedience to the Lord.

2. Let us Repent and Cry out for the Youth because they are perishing. Let us tell them to repent now! There is no time left. Please! This I say, not to scare you. This is a fact! Abomination and desolation is standing on the holy ground. God has been waiting for us and we MUST repent!

3. Let us Repent for and pray for Israel!

4. Let us Repent for and Pray for our nations, USA, countries in USA, Africa, Asia, Australia, and all other Nations, REPENT!

Please note this
Do not waste your time fighting one another with words standing like a weapon. Stop that. And know that each of us are here to shine the Light. If the words you speak are genuine and of God, they will have a root from the scriptures and the holy spirit will confirm their genuineness. That's how you can prove if your words are of God. There's no need to debate. Those who are having fellowship with the darkness may not want to come out of the darkness, Shine your light, they will either accept it or not. Worship God in spirit and truth. Store your treasure in heaven.
Every thing which has it's root from the world can not be from the kingdom of heaven. I have mentioned them before and you can go and read it once again if you want to stop being a partaker of the deception in the church, (if you haven't been separated yet). If anyone is now outside a life of holiness and anyone having fellowship with darkness can never inherit the kingdom of God unless the person becomes converted by repentance. If you are now in any form of fellowship with darkness, now repent and start to live in holiness and walk in the Righteous ways of God.
Galatians 5:19 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

If I didn't warn you, the bible did! Repent my brothers and sisters. This is not meant to scare you. It is for your own soul and salvation. Heaven is available to very very limited people, please be a part of those who are currently living in absolute holiness and righteousness. Repent and be converted and produce good fruits.
If there is any addiction or sinful bondage you are captivated of, start to repent today. It may not be easy to stop, but for God it is easy. You have the responsibility to receive the freedom which has already been paid for by our savior and Lord Jesus Christ. How is it possible to receive that freedom and deliverance? Because he has "set" his love upon Me therefore will I deliver him" (Psalms 91)...The KEY WORD here is "SET"... "Your deliverance will happen from the Lord as you 'set' your love upon Him in the secret place. Spend time with Him, intensely setting your love on Him like a barometer..The temperature and climate of your deliverance from the Lord will stay 'set' there for nothing less than VICTORY!!! -DAVID E. At any cost, stay blameless and spotless until the day of the coming of our savior and Lord, our father, our love and our life, Jesus Christ The King of Kings. Glory, Honor, Power, Praise, Worship, Adoration belong to the one and only God the father Elohim, The son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Amen!
