Do you actually think God is actually going to save someone who has not repented. and he KNOWS will continue to live in sin?? WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet that is exactly what happened when GOD saved Israel from the slavery of Egypt; yet afterwards destroyed those who didn't believe.

That shadow serves as an example and warning to us.

Of course it's possible to fall away and be lost. Why would there be so many warnings to do things to avoid that fate if it weren't true?

what warnings??

There are alot of warnings about losing blessing, and not being usefull for God.

but there are NO warnings about losing salvation. It is the opposite.

many will be there and see ALL their rewards burnt as wood hey and straw. yet he himself still saved, who do you think these people are?? They are in heaven, but have NO reward.. why?? if we could lose salvation. Why did not God just kick them out of heaven, and say sorry bud. You did not do enough to merit salvation. SO I can not let you in (rolls eyes)

lol.. wow. Ok..

No. that is not the picture. The picture is God still kept his promise to Israel. even though they never earned it..

Not what you claim to to be. Why are you trying to earn salvation? Do you honestly think you could ever be good enough to earn it? do you understand what the glory of God (righteous standard) is in romans 3: 23 or not?

Churches dont go in the book of life. People go into the book of life.
Churches are made up of people, both saved and unsaved, those who cave into the pressures of the world and left the faith weren't saved to begin with, which is only my opinion, yes, unless they repented. Thus, their names were never written in the book to begin with...look at verse 5 again: Rev 3:5 "The one who overcomes (the saved), this one will be clothed in white clothing. And I will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life [eternally secure, Christ will never blot out or remove a believer, overcomer, a child of God], but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels." This strengthens my point, that we can't loose our salvation.

John Gill agrees with me (not that it matters to you, just another reference I consider credible) ,
And I will not blot out his name out of the book of life; by which is meant the choice of persons to everlasting life and salvation; and this being signified by a book, and by writing names in it, shows the exact knowledge God has of his elect, the value he has for them, his remembrance of them, his love to them, and care for them; and that this election is of particular persons by name, and is sure and certain; for those whose names are written in it shall never be blotted out, they will always remain in the number of God's elect, and can never become reprobates, or shall ever perish; because of the unchangeableness of the nature and love of God, the firmness of his purposes, the omnipotence of his arm, the death and intercession of Christ for them, their union to him, and being in him, the impossibility of their seduction by false teachers, and the security of their persons, grace, and glory in Christ, and in whose keeping this book of life is; which respects not this temporal life, that belongs to the book of providence, but a spiritual and eternal life, from whence it has its name, [John Gill]

Heed the warnings of Scripture on this, the reality of some having 'departed the faith,' and, we must 'endure,' and, even, if you think about it, 'it is harder for a rich man to go to heaven than for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle,' so......

Why do you want to go back (to what you were before)?: Notice, I didn't say go back to what YOU WERE DOING BEFORE .

Anyway, the Lord leads, you are saved , follow Him. "...you follow Me." Love Him, Love others, follow the rest of God's commands to us, both of Mosaic law and otherwise so as to be with a good fit of hope (not fitful) on Earth of His will being done and your life producing fruit as His Spirit leads you toward Him , knowing you are sealed with redemption (salvation) when you receive Him, through faith that is not of your own doing in having got it, but it's His for you to use as yours :)

What are your views on this matter, if you have time watch the entire video, and if possible give me sum feed back .Thanks i appreciate it and God bless you ,and your Family in Jesus mighty name amen. :)
Paul made this appeal to the Gentile believers...
Galatians 5:1-4
1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
2 Look: I, Paul, say to you that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you.
3 I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the whole law.
4 You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.

It appears that it was impossible for them to be under God's saving grace whilst being entangled by the yoke of the law. Why? Because righteousness is by faith, which is faithfulness and absolute dependence on the grace of God...

Romans 10:4 "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes".

Galatians 2:16 "Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified".

Galatians 3:11 "Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for "The righteous shall live by faith."

Vic both sides can be proved in the Bible... Using some verses, and with a destorted view mon salvation. MANY verses can prove that you can lose salvation. Then using the CORRECT definition of salvation complete IN CHRIST, MANY verses can prove that salvation CANNOT be lost.

The mystery is to know what is salvation and WHEN does God give salvation. When is a person SAVED by God? One verse that BLOWS most salvation ideas out the water is this one.... Even when the WORLD hates you for His Name sake, for those that persevere DESPITE of this hate, they shall be saved.

In what did a man persevere when he does an altercall, on his first day in church? When did the World hate you, for the sake of the Name of Jesus? How many people do you know that are HATED by the World for HIS NAME SAKE? Not for their sin, for HIS NAME SAKE? How many people do you know that the World hates because they KEEP GOD’S WORD? And if you do know such people, what is their life like? Do they still sin? If they do, it is fine if the world hates them, SIN is hateful. But the word says they must be hated like this...

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

These MEN in this verse is NOT holy men, they are worldly men, like 99,9999% of men today. But the ones that are hated by them, IF THEY ENDURETH to the end, then they shall be saved... Salvation is VERY POWERFUL. It only happens to SAINTS... Saints stopped sinning even before they are SAVED! That is how complete SALVATION is.

Salvation complete, is a PERFECT MAN.... Eph 4:11 to 13. Look and see all saved are to the same STATURE AND FULNESS OF CHRIST JESUS.... Can Jesus lose salvation? NO! All saved people are to the same fulness of Christ, so they also CANNOT lose salvation. It is God’s Spirit in them that CANNOT SIN... And only sin can make salvation lost. Fortunately God says this about the SAVED people...

1 John 3:9....
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

The SEED of GOD REMAINETH IN THEM.... REMAINETH MEANS IT STAYS FOREVER!!!!

Praise God for HIS SALVATION IS ALSO PERFECT!

Cobus, How long did it take for the 3000 that Peter preached to to become saved and added to the church? Acts 2, "[SUP]40 [/SUP]And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” [SUP]41 [/SUP]Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them." And in Acts 4 regarding the 5000 that were saved in one day? Were they really saved or not? Where they really added to church or not?

Why is it taking you so long? Because you don't know how to read the bible and interpret it for all it's worth.

To bookends, Cobus has said some very truthful elements of salvation: But you are so shallow, that your can not appreciate these deep truths of God's world. There are three tenses in our salvation, and two sides. !st. tense: we are saved, past. 2nd. we are being saved. 3rd. we shall be saved. NOW the two sides of our salvation are:God's side and second, our side. Superficial seekers miss the depth of salvation: They love the shallow pool of love, joy, faith, but never get in deep enough to get saved . and will end up having Jesus say to them, "depart from me you workers of iniquity" Salvation will only be for those who are transformed by God to live a life of faith ,holiness, joy, peace, victory in the Holy Spirit. And alone the way they may lose their assurance; but they never lose their salvation, because, God makes that secure. Love to all, Hoffco

Do these verses mean anything to you?
Romans 4:
What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh?[SUP]http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans 4&version=NKJV#fen-NKJV-28024a[/SUP] [SUP]2 [/SUP]For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. [SUP]3 [/SUP]For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[SUP]4 [/SUP]Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.

[SUP]5 [/SUP]But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, [SUP]6 [/SUP]just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:

[SUP]7 [/SUP]“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven,
And whose sins are covered;

[SUP]8 [/SUP]Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”

Give me one example out of the bible, save Christ, who claimed to be without sin, fully sanctified your the 2nd tense. Go ahead, show me the perfect sinless saint, if what you say is true there should be lot of them.

BTW, compared to what God knows, I am shallow. But the gospel is simple that the child can understand it and be saved. Do you want to be the devils advocate and spew his message to those who trust in Christ's imputed righteousness and tell them they are not saved?

1) We are saved and sanctified by our trust in God's atoning sacrifice alone, it's a free gift.
2) We are being sanctified by the work of the HS within us, who is conforming us to His Son so we can be imitators of God.
3) Our sanctification is complete when our bodies are raise incorruptible at His Coming, the resurrection of all.

proverbs 20
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Most men will proclaim each his own goodness,
But who can find a faithful man?

[SUP]9 [/SUP]Who can say, “I have made my heart clean,
I am pure from my sin”?

Bookends the answer is in the Bible! You ask how did it take for the 3000 to become saved? As long as GOD DETERMINED... Here is something that you MISSED AGAIN! Do you think the 3000 that were added were ALREADY saved? Let us do a short powerful study on that.... God says there were ADDED about three thousand souls....Acts 2:41... Ok! And in verse 47 God says... The LORD added DAILY to the CHURCH, such as SHOULD be saved. A person that SHOULD be saved is NOT SAVED YET!

Why do people not read the Bible as it is written. If a person SHOULD be saved, means that person SHOULD BE SAVED. And here is the TIMESPAN it would take to save the person.... One might plant a seed, the other might water it, BUT GOD LET GROW! Saved people are in full fruitbearing stage. And God determined how EACH of them grew, at what rate they grow is ALL UP TO GOD...

So how long did it take God to SAVE them? AS LONG AS HE WANTED IT TO TAKE. Just the fact that 3000 was ADDED that day, did not mean they all took the same time to be saved. God worked on them INDIVIDUALLY, and it took as long as HE WANTED IT TO TAKE! Some might have started their repentance before that day, others might only needed that day, who knows but God.

There is the parable of the grape harvest that explains how "unfair" God can appear.... Some in the kingdom might have to go through fourty years and then be saved, others might get it on the FIRST day... But It is up to God how long it takes, what you should focus on is the SAME REWARD FOR ALL! Some might take 40 years to get HOLINESS and the SALVATION COMPLETE from God, others get it in a SHORT time.... God decides, not the SAVED! We have NO SAY how long it takes for us to reach maturity, PERFECTION! God decides! What we have to know is ALL GET TO THE SAME PERFECTION....

Look at the parable again.... Some worked the whole day. others half a day, and other only minutes... but they ALL recieved the SAME REWARD.... That is how God's Kingdom works.... The person that God worked salvation for fourty years will not be holier that the one God worked a minute on. GOD DETERMINES THE GROWTH, but the SALVATION is to the SAME HOLINESS.

Glad to see you use another passage, in this case a parable of Christ. So the workers in the parable who worked all day, were they not in sin by complaining to the master over the same reward of those who came to work late in the day? Using your interpretation they weren't saved then. This is a classic example of you using scripture to fit your own fleshly understanding of scripture, instead of letting the whole book of scripture interpret it for you.

Again Zone the answer is in the Word of God... As many as it takes... And here is your pronblem if you still sin... Every sinner cannot complain if the World hates him. Sin is hateful acts. The world should hate you for your righteousness, not sin. Jesus said they will bring in FALSE witness against His people, nt TRUE WITNESS... If a person sins, and they witness about it it is true! But if they witness about sin in a righteous person, it is FALSE!

God says PAul would suffer MUCH, so it is obvious that other's would suffer not as much. Paul said that the stripes is a gain, and he recieved in in PURENESS and love unfeigned... Do you see! Love and pureness gets rewarded by stripes, so what, for the righteouss that is a blessing! Longsuffering is another stripe and imprisonment offence.... So I will practice LONGSUFFERING! nd Patience, and kndness.... My reward: propably some more flack and lashings. I was once thretened to be knocked in the face, in the mouth for what I believed, but hey that happened to Jesus and Paul as well.

I was chased from somechurches, and others asked more kindly to leave, and all just because I read the Bible. Or qouted scripture WORD FOR WORD, I remember how the Word just FLOWED from my bowels... It was AMAZING! I know I am not so fluent.... But God IS!

I also have PERSONAL EXPERIENCE of how God lays words on the tongue.... In TWO LANGUAGES it happened. Afrikaans and English, on several and different ocations.

Should we go look for trouble to make sure we are saved? NOPE! The trouble is part of the guerentee. If you see persecution and hate from the World as TROUBLE, you are entitled to see it so, I see it as a BLESSING and I MARVEL not at this matter. Zone the persecution and the HATE of the WORLD is not an option it is a gaurentee, because the WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE the TRUTH, or the SPIRIT OF THE TRUTH.... THey HATE HIM.

Thank you my dear friend for the questions. I will gladly answer ANYTHING you ask, for I know you are sincere, and searching. I pray the Father will share my heart and love with you. I only wish for you: Christ Jesus, and NOT ZONE!

Love you Zone, and I love you as much as I love myself.
Cobus.

The guy in the video wouldn't know sound doctrine if it hit him in the size and shape of a Greyhound bus flying at 75 mph. I'm familiar with some of his work. I'm glad he street preaches, I'm just not glad it's him doing it.

Bookends the parable is a parable there si no sin in oarables.... God says His Kingdom is like the grapes and the work that neds to be done to get to the kingdom. I do not think God wants us to even think of what is sin and what is holy... God is showing that some will be worked for long and some not for long. I do not focus on sin, I focus on God and holiness and Kingdom...

The ones that woked long did not sin, but God shows HE GIVES AS HE WANTS, WITHOUT breaking ANY AGREEMENT.... God said, REPENT and BE BAPTIZED, and you shall recieve the Holy Ghost. How long that takes is UP TO HIM, like the PAYMENT to the grape harvesters.... It is up to Him and ALL will receive the same Holy Ghost. Some would not receive a holier ghost that others.... Focus on the Lord, let us not even mention sin and Satan.... Specially when the Lord does not mention either in a parable....

And Bookie, thank you for the change of heart to me! I can see you love me more than you used too! Who knows, maybe we will both be made PERFECTLY ONE IN CHRIST, SOON, I hope!

God bless you my friend!

Bookends, I showed you the same chapter where God said, not Cobus.... The SUCH AS SHOULD BE SAVED.... And I understand the word SHOULD is not WOULD! You tell me if all who was added was SAVED! If God says they SHOULD be saved there is NO guarentee that they WOULD be saved. For a fact they are NOT YET SAVED THEN! no matter if they would or should.

Read this verse I will copy and paste WITHOUT EDITING....
Acts 2:47....Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
