This is a brief review of a study I did on the number of the beast using a small Linux python gematria application a few months ago. Hope this helps on your studies in Revelation. To my knowledge, the information that was revealed to me in this study has never been published in any source that I am aware of. This is not to say that men have not known it. However, I have never seen this solution printed in any other work except what is here presented. God bless you in your studies.

Constantinus Augustus Rex

Ο Βασιλεύς Κωνσταντίνος Αύγουστος

Emperor Constantine Augustus

המלך 95

all words:המלך הקונסטנטינוס האוגוסטוס

total gematria: 666

In the Book of Revelation there are two beasts portrayed. Only the second beast is styled as 666, not the first. Therefore, it cannot possibly be referring to Nero (as some would have it), for Nero was of the heads of the first beast. Furthermore, Nero can only be derived through defective and unusual Hebraic spelling. 666 in Revelation is specifically referring to the name/title of the man who is head of the Second Beast. There is the first beast, which is ancient Rome. And there is the second beast, which is latter Rome--Constantinian/Byzantine Rome.

The second beast comes in all the power of the first beast and makes all to do obeisance to the former beast (empire) by the image that speaks.

The man 666 is the second beast. And by the very inscription that Constantine placed upon his image, he accomplished just that, because he is that. And he used the name of Christ and the Charagma known as the Chi Rho Labarum --Constantine's Cross.

The charagma (character, mark) of the beast is the most blatantly obvious sign that could ever exist. And since that is the case, ironically enough, it is also the most well hidden. It is the very thing that has been staring the world in face for this long and that was designed to deceive the very people who it does deceive. People have looked for microchips, or secret symbols, etc.. and yet they have not perceived that the symbol with which they felt comfortable with might be the most occult symbol that ever existed. The mark of the beast is hidden in plain sight and is something that the world has been looking at every day of their lives. And since this is so, they write it off as being everything and anything except what it actually represents -- their universal delusion. It couldn't possibly be the Chi Rho to them, because, in their delusional world, the Chi Rho is a holy and sanctimonious symbol. So they look anywhere except where they should look. And by this, they are deceived.

Eusebius, Church History, Book IX, Chap. 9: 8-11
These and the like praises Constantine, by his very deeds, sang to God, the universal Ruler, and Author of his victory, as he entered Rome in triumph.

Immediately all the members of the senate and the other most celebrated men, with the whole Roman people, together with children and women, received him as their deliverer, their saviour, and their benefactor, with shining eyes and with their whole souls, with shouts of gladness and unbounded joy.

But he, as one possessed of inborn piety toward God, did not exult in the shouts, nor was he elated by the praises; but perceiving that his aid was from God, he immediately commanded that a trophy of the Saviour's passion be put in the hand of his own statue.

And when he had placed it, with the saving sign of the cross in its right hand, in the most public place in Rome, he commanded that the following inscription should be engraved upon it in the Roman tongue:

"By this Salutary Sign [☧], the true proof of bravery, I have saved and freed your city from the yoke of the tyrant and moreover, having set at liberty both the senate and the people of Rome, I have restored them to their ancient distinction and splendor."

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. -- Rev. 13:11-15

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. -- Rev. 13:16-17
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. -- Rev. 13:18

It should also be remembered that Constantine began what is now known as the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church--still a beast of two horns to this day. He was the first imperial Pontifex Maximus of Roman Christendom--i.e., the first official Pope.

Perhaps you may want to consider this.
Walid Shoebat - Mark of the Beast - YouTube

And read about it here.
ISLAM, QURAN AND 666

The issue with all such Islam theories is that Islam does not fit the description of the second beast. The second beast causes all to 'worship the first beast before him', Islam never desired anyone to 'bow down to the Roman imperial power', but Constantinian Rome came in just that very spirit. This isn't to say that Islam isn't evil. It is evil and it is false. But it is not what the second beast refers to.

Constantinian Rome was a call and cry for the greatness of the former days. I assure you now, you can search forever, and if you are are honest, you will come back to one inescapable conclusion concerning the second beast. There is only one thing it can possibly be. The second beast brought in the epitome of false religion and that false religion is none other than utterly apostate Christianity.

Actually, it does. If you studied it in whole, you would know that. Yes, I am a Christian that thinks like a Muslim. If I were a Muslim, I would kill you for that is what a true Muslim will do. I will also do a taqiyya on you as well. Do you know what that even means? What about shirk or jizyah?

Shirk. Unforgivable sin....
Surah 4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:

Surah 9.30
The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

Sura 4:171: O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a Spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Three (Trinity)" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is One God. Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth.

Jizyah is a tax only for non Muslims. "The people of the book" is you and me. It refers to Christians in particular since the Eastern Muslims hate Jews more than they hate Christians.

Surah 9.29 Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. 30 The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

If you think for ONE MINUTE that Islam is not the problem, then you will be in for a BIG SURPRISE when you find out it really is THE PROBLEM!

I'm not going to argue the issue. I'm just dropping off some information for anyone interested in the truth and who is able to receive truth.

Of course, that the second beast being Constantine completely obliterates the very foundations of Dispensationalist Premillenialism, I can see why many would have issues. However, if one does not hold to the Dispensationalist bias, all quickly becomes clear.

Then I guess it will be impossible for you to learn and grow.

Good day!

I have studied this possibility myself, and it does seem to fit the prophecies well. Even if this is true, it doesn't affect the modern Church very much though. We are still awaiting the Last Day, and are still called to bear witness to Christ. This is not a new theory. It has been around since Constantine was reigning.
Again, this bears no consequence for a Christian, as our calling is unchanged whether this is true or false. If we get caught up in it, topics like this becomes a distraction, and becomes a sin for us to continue meditating upon.
We should keep our eyes open, and keep as few hard opinions of prophecy as possible. Knowing the possibilities is one thing, but assuming we have discovered the only possible answer is foolish. Remember that the teachers of the law deceived themselves with false ideas of the coming Messiah being a powerful earthly ruler, and therefore did not recognize that Jesus was the Messiah because of His meek and lowly position. They believed they had interpreted the prophecies, and because of their pride, their eyes were closed.
I hold a soft opinion that the rapture already occurred within the first few centuries AD, but I will not be caught off-guard if it happens tomorrow.

Being bold in a proclamation does not at all imply pride. It simply denotes boldness. The assertion may be demonstrated as true or false. I hold firm to the affirmation that Constantine Augustus is, was and shall ever be the man 666 prophecied in Revelation. And it is important not only to past times, but today, so that the Church may in no way be deceived or ignorant of the angles of Satan. I am of the persuasion that unity is based in Spirit & Truth, not in togetherness. 5011 opinions may be offered, but the truth is only one. It either is or it is not. And there is nothing personal about it.

Good luck with that. There is plenty of evidence that dose not line up with Constatine. Or however you spell it. The beast is identified as the Islamic nation. It is what it is. History shows it and it is a perfect fit for the entire chapter of Rev 13!

Of coarse, you are entitled to what you want to hold true for I myself did not agree that Islam was the beast until I studied them very carefully. History and evidence dictates the indication that Islam is the beast.

I saw that guy do the Islam presentation. It was not very convincing. Islam is prophesied about many times in the Bible. The 666 prophecy doesn't align with the other prophecies about Ishmael/Edom. I find his video series highly suspect, and highly lucrative with all the trips and tours of Israel that his company sells.

Ok. Well...if it's Islam you'll have to answer each of these questions with historically verifiable references.

When did Islam rule the Roman empire as the second beast coming in all the power of the first beast?

When did Islam ever have two horns (denoting two empires ruled by one head)?

When did Islam come looking like the Lamb but speaking as the Dragon?

When did Islame insist that all who buy and sell in it's Roman empire receive a mark on their right hand or forehead?

When was there ever a king of Islam whose name equated to 666 in gematria?

If you can answer those questions, I might listen.

Until then:

1) Constantine did in fact rule both Eastern and Western Roman empires as the Second Beast coming in all the power of the first beast and was the only one to ever do so.

2) Constantine did in fact come appearing as the Lamb but speaking as the Dragon.

3) Constantine did in fact require all in his empire to receive a special mark (the Sign of the Cross of Constantine which was in fact the Chir Rho Stigma 666 of his former God Sol Invictus with either their right hand or siging their forehead.

4) Constantine did in fact set himself as the visible representation of Christ on earth, head of the state church and Pontifex Maximus.

5) ha-Melek ha-Constantinus ha-Augustus does in fact equal 666 in Hebrew Gematria.

Therefore....

What a minute, didn't John tell the 1st Century Christians they would know the beast by his number, 600 60 and 6? What benefit or good would it have been for them if it's anybody past their time? So the beast you say is Constantine, but John told the 1st century believers they WOULD KNOW HIM by his number, what injustice John did them if John really meant it to be somebody beyond their time!

Not really.

1. Augustus did not have control of the economy of every man woman and child on earth.
2. He did not force every man woman or child on earth to worship him.

He only had the roman empire at the time. And even then, He did not control the fact that no one could buy or sell.

saying constantine is the beast is just as silly as saying islam is the beast. they do not fit the whole of prophesy.. concerning end time events..

I have no idea what you are talking about. I never mentioned Augustus. I have been talking about Constantine who was made the Roman Augustus, which was an official title for the Emperor at the time of Constantine in the 300s. As far as having power over all those who buy and sell, he did in fact have this. For the prophecy is referring to all those in his realm, that is Constantinian Rome, both east and west. For this is what the context in Revelation means by the inhabited earth. Constantine raised his own Colossus and had it placed with his own Basilica. In doing homage to Constantine and his Christendom, the realm did indeed 'worship' him if one understands that the New Testament definition of 'worship'.

I don't know what else to say to you. I suggest you reread Revelation.

lol.. well if you do not know what else to say, You can study yourself.

1. The context of revelation is worldwide, Not a particular area
2. The context of "buying or selling" is complete control of every persons financial situation. Constantine certainly did not have this. No body in human history has had this power. it was not even possible until the advent of computers and the world wide web.
3. Revelations says the beast was destroyed by Christ coming in the clouds and destroying the beast and his armies. This did not happen to Constantine. He died of an illness.

If your going to make such comments as I need to study, You should first study yourself.

You should also know the John p[rophesy does not stand by itself. It also goes with ALL last day prophesies in the OT as well as prophesies such as matt 24 when Christ spoke of the same things..

What a minute, didn't John tell the 1st Century Christians they would know the beast by his number, 600 60 and 6? What benefit or good would it have been for them if it's anybody past their time? This does not make sense my friend.

The OT prophets wrote prophesies to people of their day. Yet none of the people it was written to experienced these prophesies. As with alot of prophesies, the prophesy was written and told to the people alive at the time, but it was directed to the people living at the time of fulfillment. We see this over and over in the OT. one should not expect things to change.

Yes he wrote it to the people then. But it is also directed to the people alive at the time..

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before
him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped
his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

The thing about Constantine is, he died and was buried. The beast and false prophet don't
get a physical death or burial, or grave to point to. It will be a case of "now you see them,
now you don't." These two also don't stand and get judged at the great white throne of judgement.
When Jesus returns, these two go straight into hell.

The thing about the anti-christ and Islam is, the anti-christ will magnify himself above everything
that is called "god." This includes Allah. The anti-christ will put himself "above" Allah and say
he is greater than Allah, and that he is god and Allah isn't. He will demand worship of himself
and not Allah. I see Islam having a very bad day when the anti-christ comes.
