It builds the psychosexual bond between the people doing it. That makes it sex.

I can't cite sources, (maybe someone else can help), but I believe in earlier church history it was actually considered a form of sodomy.

It is certainly sexual in nature, and probably most people would categorise it as a form of sex, although whatever category man puts it in, it is God's view that counts and that we will be held accountable for. This is to say, that even if it is acceptable between husband and wife, between any other people it would be considered either adultery or fornication at best.

The bible talks a lot about nakedness... Such as first thing Adam and Eve noticed were they were naked...
If you uncover someone's nakedness there is some psychological attributes that will stick with you...

If you have to say 'technically' no... I have to urge you to consider that it might be and your trying to convince yourself otherwise...

And if you are trying to justify oral sex before marriage... Just say so... The reason I say this is because 9 times out of 10 people who post these types of forums are trying to resolve a hidden agenda... (If you are not I solemnly apologize)

of course, its sexual in nature, but its not "sex".

if you believe "oral sex" is sex, then i have to ask this. if you believe this because its sexual nature, then do you consider kissing to be sex?

Your argument is full of a huge fallacy... I am sorry but you are trying to justify oral sex as not being sex... When you kiss you do not uncover someone's nakedness... When you hold hands you do not uncover someones nakedness, when you hug you do not uncover someone's nakedness... You have to realize that the word sex is there for a reason...

to have sex, you have to penetrate.. that is what sex is.

theres a difference between nakedness and sex.

Sex is more than penetration... If it was just penetration we would not be studying it and the effects it has on the brain and body so extensively... I am sorry but you are fighting an up hill battle on this one...

not at all.

what makes this a uphill battle? because your opinion is different than mine?

you are trying to make it a science issue. this can take a silly turn quickly.

i have a buddy that called me the other day trying to tell me, basically, that being mad and happy is the same thing because of some blood cell reaction.. he is a follower of science.

for the people who think im trying to justify it, let me tell you this.. no i dont condone it. if i was married, id consider this cheating. and you can get STDs from it.. but if you ask me if it is "sex", then my answer is no.

now that we got the insinuation that im trying to justify something out of the way..

I am done with this, you are trying to justify oral SEX for some reason or an other... I am not going to sit here all day trying to show you that it is sex when your retorts are not even directed at the topic at hand, or the point I have addressed...

If you are trying to say its not the word sex, congrats you can spell... If you are trying to say it is not by the same definition of sex, then we get into a problem like so...

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! Oral sex is not FORPLAY!!!! It can be used as foreplay but it is NOT foreplay!!!! Foreplay can even be stroking someones hair, to gentle kissing, to snuggling...
