In the Bible forum?
My thoughts exactly!!!! What on earth does this train of thought have to do with Bible discussions. I would hope that some moderator would see this and stop it. This is not edifying in the least!!!

That is a polite way to say it. The world today, at least Americans, are obsessed with twisting scripture and defining Biblical concepts such as 'love' in carnal, human, iniquitous terms. In short they try to make God in THEIR image - an image they like. It is disgusting that this thread is allowed to be posted where I should be able to let a child read the posts without fear of what he would read on a so-called "Christian" forum.

When I see people asking these question and talking about "A friend" it normally means they are looking for approval from a social group and peers to justify doing the act in question.

Oral sex is sexual activity, if you carry out oral sex you might as well just go ahead and have intercourse. If you want to do it, then that is your choice to make, but you must live with any consequences and take responsibility. This also includes spiritual aspect, as you are joining your soul with the other person.

Please don't be too hard on the moderators. They give their time for free, and I think do a very good job of keeping the forums clean and free of many types of heresy. Its just this topic was posted probably in the last hour or so, and I suppose a moderator hasn't been able to move it to a more appropriate forum, or censor it yet.

With regard to your child, even the bible does contain what some in our culture would call adult themes, and I would never recommend a child be allowed to use the internet unsupervised, even on a Christian forum, and even with people claiming to be Christians.

Doesn't matter what I consider anything.
Only matters what God says.
The bible condemns fornication over and over.
Fornication is intercourse between two or more unmarried
people which involves the genitalia of at least one of them.
Not only is "oral sex" between unmarried people fornication,
it is gravely dangerous to the parties involved and their future spouses.

It is disgusting that people condone such threads! How about we quit commenting and let the thread fall way back on about page 50!

of course, its sexual in nature, but its not "sex".

if you believe "oral sex" is sex, then i have to ask this. if you believe this because its sexual nature, then do you consider kissing to be sex?
Kissing does not involve the genitalia.
Your inability to discern this has revealed you as
either a wolf in sheep's clothing, or a moron.

to have sex, you have to penetrate.. that is what sex is.

theres a difference between nakedness and sex.
"Oral sex" does involve penetration.
I'm going with moron.

.. but if you ask me if it is "sex", then my answer is no.
We didn't ask you.
You asked us.
Who asks questions that they think they already know the answer to?
Froward troublemakers trying to justify their sinful lifestyles.

I see people that "disagree" with me but at the same time agreeing with me without even knowing it.. then proceed with a insult to the question.

And no it is not sex. And there is no underlying agenda.

If you would let a child on any internet forum, you are irresponsible.
Having said that, do you allow your children to read the Bible?
It discusses a lot of fornication and adultery.
Christians should be able to confront such discussions with authority,
not shrinking back in "righteous indignation" and fear.
It's good that this has been brought up so that the OP can be educated.
He obviously needs it.

Is this question being asked to find out if pre marital oral sex is ok? Just wondering what's the point of the question. Haven't read through all the post just in case that was cleared up already

I don't need it. I think people are so adamant in believing that "head" is sex because its so commonly attached to the actual act. But so is kissing and other types of foreplay.

We are all grown here and have some type of past so lets NOT ACT LIKE any of you are above it.

When was the last time you gave or got "head" and told somebody that you had sex with the person.. I can say confidently NEVER. But what you DID say was no we didn't have "sex" but I / we did, blah blah and blah.

I absolutely would not let a child on a forum alone. If you read my post closely you will see that I laid out a hypothetical situation, and maybe you wouldn't be so quick to condemn me for something. My children are 37 and 41 years old and even my grandchildren are older than what I was presenting as a hypothetical situation. This thread does not fall into any of the categories GOD says we are to concentrate on in Philippians 4:8 "In conclusion, brothers, focus your thoughts on what is true, noble, righteous, pure, lovable or admirable, on some virtue or on something praiseworthy." My point is that I seriously question the purity of heart of anyone who would even post such a question in even an all-adult "CHRISTIAN" forum, not to mention those who would condone the sin presented. Some people simply will not listen to our Father's Word.

AS I said before Imperfect, If you want to do it, just do it, you are going to anyway, and when you do you might as well just have intercourse as well.

You may fool yourself and fool other people by clever use of words and terminology that you are not doing anything wrong, but you wont fool God.

oral sex is sexually immorality which is wrong, why is this in discussion anyways? and the bible states [h=3]1 Corinthians 6:13[/h]New Living Translation (NLT)

13 You say, “Food was made for the stomach, and the stomach for food.” (This is true, though someday God will do away with both of them.) But you can’t say that our bodies were made for sexual immorality. They were made for the Lord, and the Lord cares about our bodies.

if Christ said even looking at a woman with lust in your heart was tantamount to adultery, why is this thread 3 pages long?

Now somebody is judging me because of a question like they never did the act outside of marriage. You must be a perfect man to talk the way you are.

You don't even know me or how I feel about this situation. I bet all you did was read the OP and felt you knew me which gave you what you felt was the right to judge me.

You are the type of Christian that makes Christians look bad.. the judgmental holier than thou Christian. I thought it was thou shall not judge lest you be judged.

Agreed.
Also, my statement began with "if", making it a hypothetical.
I was not condemning you.

Agreed. Now this thread needs to be gone and the OP banned.
