Paul said that there is none that seeketh after God that they are all gone out of the way and become unprofitable.

Christ came to this earth to seek and save that which was lost.

[SUP]11 [/SUP]There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Psalm 14:3 (KJV)

[SUP]3 [/SUP]They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Isaiah 53:6 (KJV) [SUP]6 [/SUP]All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Deuteronomy 4:29 (KJV)
[SUP]29 [/SUP]But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

2 Chronicles 15:4 (KJV)

Luke 11:9 (KJV)

1 John 4:19 (KJV)

[SUP]19 [/SUP]We love him, because he first loved us.

First WE ARE JUDGED BY OUR WORKS, ALL MEN, it onlt says it over and over. When we recieve the blood of Messiah that wipes out ALL PAST sin, we are then in a state of reconciliation to Yahweh. However, if we sin after that the bloos DOES NOT COVER THAT, we can have forgiveness, (1 Yahchanan 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.") but we are held accuontable for our actions, PERIOD. How anyone could read these following verses and come up with the idea that some wont be judged is pure falsehood. It says EVERY MAN over and over and makes no distinction, every man. For you see "For there is no respect of persons with Yahweh.”

Mattithyah 16:27, “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His Malakim; and then He will reward every man according to his works.”

Yahchanan (John) 5:28-30, “Do not be astonished at this-for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice, and will come forth. Those who have practiced righteousness will be resurrected in order to live; and those who have practiced wickedness will be resurrected in order to be damned."

Acts 17:30-31, “In the past Yahweh winked at such ignorance, but now He commands all men everywhere to repent! For He has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness, by a Man whom He has ordained; and He has given evidence to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”

Romans 2:4-11, “Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance, and longsuffering; not realizing that Yahweh’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But according to your stubborn and impenitent mind you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of Yahweh’s wrath, when the righteous judgment of Yahweh will be revealed; when He will reward each one according to his works: to the ones on the one hand, who, by patient persistence in doing righteousness, seek for glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But to the ones on the other hand, who are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give indignation and wrath.” Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man who does evil: to the Yahdai(Jew) first, and also to the Greek (Gentile) But glory, honor, and peace to every man who works righteousness: to the Yahdai first, and also to the Greek. For there is no respect of persons with Yahweh.”

2 Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, that each one may receive his reward according to what he has done in the body, whether righteous or evil.”

Colossians 3:24-25, “Knowing that from Yahweh you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve Yahshua the Messiah. But he who does wrong will receive the reward for the wrong he has done, and there is no respect of persons.”

1 Kepha (Peter) 1:17-18, “And if you call on the Father, Who without respect of persons judges according to each man’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning here in reverence. Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver or gold, from your idolatrous way of life handed down to you by tradition from your fathers.”

Revelation 20:12-13, “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before Yahweh. And the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and Death and Sheol delivered up the dead which were in them. And they were judged, every man, according to their works.”

Revelation 22:12, “And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be.”

Yaaqob (James) 2:26, “For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so the faith without works is dead also.” Can dead save?

2 Timothy 4:3-4, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts they will heap to themselves teachers, who will tickle their ears, and they will turn away their ears from the truth, and be turned to fables.”

Romans 3:25, "Whom Yahweh set forth as a sacrifice of atonement by His own blood, through the faith, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of Yahweh."

I think satan has defeated the minds of many, saying "nothing you can do is good enough so enjoy your filth." I dont care if I fail 3 times in a minute I will not give up Yahweh willing, the desire to do Yahweh's Instructions.

For there is a difference between sin and iniquity.

Mt 7:23, "But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."
Iniquity is Word #458 from word #459, Greek Dictionary, Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, meaning not subject to (Yahweh's) Laws, transgressor.

a = without

nomos = law

Set aside ONLY as the means of righteousness to salvation, not as useful, beneficial, worthy of study: 2 Timothy3:16

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for teaching the truth, convicting of sin, correcting faults and training in right living;"
Agreed.

also note what "setting aside" means. . .

Hebrews 7:18 "
Thus, on the one hand, the earlier rule is set aside because of its weakness and inefficacy,"
Agreed.

No one here has been advocating keeping the Mosaic Law as a "means of righteousness to salvation." And if everyone who wanted to contribute to a thread would carefully read what others post then there would be much less contention and much more edification,
I think my posts are clear that it has been set aside as the means of righteousness,
but the problem of its curse remains (Dt 27:26), so it has been replaced with
the law of Christ, which is now the law of God (1Co 9:21; Gal 6:2,
minus the curse of the Mosaic law,
and is the law of love (Mt 22:37-39; Jn 13:34; Gal 5:6; Jas 2:8)
which performs the whole law (Mt 22:40; Ro 13: 8-10).

Our obedience is now to the internal law of Christ written on our hearts, and which carries with it
the power of the Holy Spirit to obey, rather than to the external law written on tablets of stone.

To clarify the term "setting aside", or to "set aside" is the same as *Disannulling.
Yes, "disannul" is to annul completely.

To annul=dissolve, withdraw, invalidate, or put an end to, is not in the KJV.
It's really great that you search the Scriptures.

And yes, to "annul" is to invalidate, which is not in the KJV.

And "disannul" is to invalidate completely.

So the "there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness
and unprofitableness thereof"
in Heb 7:18 of the KJV, is a complete invalidation of the Law.

The law of Moses was completely invalidated as the means of righteousness, because the law of sin
in our sinful nature (Ro 8:3) came against it, making it weak and ineffective to make righteous.

That is why God set aside the priesthood in the order of Aaron and replaced it
with the priesthood in the order of Melcehizedek (Heb 7:17, 21),
with Christ Jesus as its new eternal High Priest (Heb 7:24, 26, 28),
on the power of which priesthood is based the law of Christ,
which is now the law of God (1Co 9:21; Gal 6:2; Jn 13:34),
just as the weakened law of Moses was based on the weak (Heb 7:28) Levitical priesthood
(Heb 7:11, 8:6).

What the weak law based on the weak priesthood in the order of Aaron was unable to do,
and so both were set aside by God,
is able to be done by the power of Christ's law written on our hearts, based on the power
of the eternal priesthood in the order of Melchizedek to make righteous.

God made the change, to fulfill his 300-year-old promise of Ps 110:4.
It was not because of a re-evaluation of man's situation, it was his plan all along.

And you both missed the part about keeping the Commandments...

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
And those would be the commandments of Christ, starting with his commandment to believe,

"Repent and believe the good news!" (Mk1:16),

as well as his commandment of love, which fulfills the law (Mt 22:37-40; Jn 13:34).

Now, I do believe that salvation is conditional, but I do not believe that meeting those conditions EARNS salvation. God gives salvation freely without price (at least to us, it cost Christ His life) but He does not give it to rebellious, evil people who will not do His will.
And praise God! . . .he works the conditions in us himself, by giving us the new birth, which works in us faith and submission.

No one would come otherwise (Jn 6:65, 44).

Paul P. Enns, The Moody Handbook of Theology (Chicago, Ill.; Moody Press, 2008), 59.
Merrill F. Unger, Unger’s Commentary on the Old Testament (Chattanooga, TN., AMG Publishers, 2002), 125.

The New Testament reveals the Mosaic Law was regarded as a “yoke” which Israel had not “been able to bear” because their sinful flesh was weak (Acts 15:1-11; cf. Rom. 8:2-3). There is no fault with the Mosaic Law, for it “is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good” (Rom. 7:12). The Mosaic Law is holy because it comes from God, who is holy and righteous and good. Because the Mosaic Law is holy, it exposes the faults of mankind and shows him to be sinful (Rom. 3:20). More so, because man is inherently sinful and bent toward sin, when he comes into contact with God’s holy Law, it actually stimulates his sinful nature and influences him to sin even more (Rom. 5:20; 7:7-8).
Paul made clear that the Mosaic Law was not the rule of life for the Christian. He even referred to it as a ministry of “death” and “condemnation” (2 Corinthians. 3:5-11). Paul stated that it was intended to be temporary (Gal. 3:19), that it was never the basis for justification (Gal. 2:16, 21; 3:21; cf. Rom. 4:1-5), but was intended to lead men to Christ that they may be justified by faith (Gal. 3:24). Now that Christ has come and fulfilled every aspect of the Law and died on the cross, the Mosaic Law, in its entirety, has been rendered inoperative as a rule of life (Matt. 5:17-18; Rom. 8:2-4; 10:4; 2 Corinthians. 3:7, 11; Heb. 8:13). “As a rule of life, the Law of Moses was temporary … [and] came to an end with the death of the Messiah.”

The point that I endeavor to bring to light is that the flesh is weak. The flesh should never be used to identify God’s Word as weak, but just the opposite. God’s Word should be used to identify the weakness of the human. It is beneficial for us Christians to know what state we are in, and that the Word of God can be used effectively to follow Jesus.

I know I use these scriptures redundantly, but in my experience with Christians these days is they don’t understand the daily thing that Jesus and Paul were saying, and using the very tool that God has given to do just that.

Luke 9:23 (KJV)
[SUP]23 [/SUP]And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
1 Corinthians 15:30-31 (KJV)
[SUP]30 [/SUP]And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
[SUP]31 [/SUP]I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

Do you understand what "forgiveness of sin" is in the NT?

It is the removal of sin and the removal of its guilt, washed clean, white as snow, because of confession of our sin, based in faith in the blood of Christ Jesus (Ro 3:25).

God is not reconciled to sinners, he is reconciled only to forgiven sinners who are washed clean in the blood of the Lamb.

Are you spending enough time in the NT and the gospel?

Only the believer's reward, not the irrevocable grace of salvation, is based on his works.

I think satan has defeated the minds of many, saying "nothing you can do is good enough so enjoy your filth."
That is the mind of a merit-based law-keeper who thinks law-keeping earns favor with God.

To earn favor with God is to put God in our debt.

God is debtor to no man.
Rather, man is debtor to God.

More gospel needed?

Yes, growth in sanctification requires death to sin and faithful obedience to Christ Jesus.

I appreciate your discipling work, my brother in Christ.

Hmmm, and I suppose this is self contradictory also?

Act 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

And this is terribly self contradictory...

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

How about if you explain these scriptures to us?

Oh and maybe use some scripture?

All I need is one scripture.

You should know it? Those born of God do not sin. Whoever sins has never seen God nor known him?

Thus who is he talking about? Those born again by faith.. why? They have been given the power. And saved to do the work God created them (as new creatures) to do. Eph 2: 10

So. why did you not respond to the contradictions??

Wrong.

I agree with what you are saying, and it made me think of the most scary scripture that some people have struggled with for years. Yet the scripture I present complements what you say, no matter whether some others will agree or not. I hope it brings together edification, and Spiritual support, between all who read this, rather than instigate more arguing, because our carnal state is at war with (some deny that) our desire to serve God.

Hebrews 6:1-6 (KJV)

[SUP]1 [/SUP]Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And this will we do, if God permit.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
[SUP]6 [/SUP]If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Romans 7:21-25 (KJV)
[SUP]21 [/SUP]I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
[SUP]23 [/SUP]But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
[SUP]25 [/SUP]I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Romans 8:7 (KJV)
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Keeping in mind, Bubba, that the author is writing to Hebrews who were thinking of returning
to Judaism because of persecution from their families and friends, and he is warning them that
if they return to Judaism, they will be rejecting the sacrifice of Christ, and there is no other sacrifice
to forgive their sin and give them right standing with God.

They will be rejecting Christ like the Jews who rejected Christ and had him killed.

Romans 7:21-25 (KJV)
[SUP]21 [/SUP]I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

[SUP]25[/SUP]I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
It's not a scary Scripture, it's a gospel Scripture!

So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Don't stop there! Go to the next verse!

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, because through Jesus Christ
the law of the Spirit of life has set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was
powerless to do. . .God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man. . .in order that
the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us (not by us) who do not live according
to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. "(Ro 8:1-4)

Romans 8:7 (KJV)
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
And the next verse:

"Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of Christ
lives in you." (Ro 8:8-9)

Only the believer's reward, not the irrevocable grace of salvation, is based on his works.

The serse you quoted:
Romans 3:25, "Romans 3:25, "Whom Yahweh set forth as a sacrifice of atonement by His own blood, through the faith, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of Yahweh."

Future sins are not covered. 1 Yahchanan 1: tlls us hoe to have forgivenes after our free cleansing.

That is the mind of a merit-based law-keeper who thinks law-keeping earns favor with God.

To earn favor with God is to put God in our debt.

God is debtor to no man.
Rather, man is debtor to God.

More gospel needed?

See the 9 "NT" verses that say EVERY MAN will be judged by their works and this:

Mattithyah 5:18, "Whosoever, therefore, will break one of the least of these Laws, and will teach men so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of Yahweh; but whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Yahweh."

Wrong.

If God just wipes out all past sin, His death was insufficient. Why would you have God need to be crucified again?

The Sacrifice was a one time thing Yahshua can not nad will never be Sacrificed again. As to you stance on only past sin, your "future sins washed by the boold" is AGAINST SCRIPTURE.

Romans 3:25, "Whom Yahweh set forth as a sacrifice of atonement by His own blood, through the faith, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of Yahweh."

Hebrews 6:3-6, "If indeed Yahweh permits, we will now proceed to advanced teaching. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, And the righteous, having come to know that which is spoken by Yahweh through the Law and the Prophets, the power of Yahweh, and the world to come, If they shall fall away, it is impossible for them to be renewed to repentance again. They have rejected the Son of Yahweh, and therefore are alienated from Yahweh."

Yahdah 1:4, "For there are certain men who have secretly crept in, who were before of old ordained for this condemnation, unholy men, who turn the undeserved pardon of our One Supreme Savior Yahweh into licentiousness, and deny Yahshua our Messiah."

Licentiousness is a license to sin.

The purpose of this thred is to show believers that once they are followers of the Messiah they are not to continue to sin, and if they do they will be held responsible.

Yahchanan 5:14, "Afterward, Yahshua found him in the sacred precincts and said to him: Behold, you are healed. Sin no more, or a worse thing will come upon you."

HalleluYAHWEH may we all know the true intent of Yahweh's word in our hearts.
