Chainhand: Ever vomited while hiccuping? If so, what happened?
I did. What happened? The Kecksburg_UFO_incident.

Two questions for everyone:

1. What is your favorite dessert?

2. What is your favorite breakfast food?

This is important because I'm so very hungry right now, but can't stand to eat one more squirrel.
Funny you should mention squirrels... my answer to 1 AND 2 is acorns.

Probably natto beans. (fermented soy beans....SO GROSS!)

See, if you had said that was a desert, everyone would have been all "OOh!!! candied peanuts in caramel! I want some!"

Seoulsearch: Do you have a taste for kimchi? I made some once, but I messed it up.

GreenNNice: Are you really green? We already know you aren't nice :D

ZaoMan: Is it weird if I think of these things when I see your screen name?

Liamson: If you could change one thing about the people in your world, what would it be?

Right now.... shoot not much. I wish they were cleaner. I don't have the motivation to pick up after them or to kick my room mates into cleaning mode but, their kitchen abominations are piling up.

As someone who enjoys cooking this is really stressing me out. (In addition to other stuff) But seriously Gordon Ramsey would have an aneurysm if he saw our kitchen right now.

I'm back in my home town, which means I am pretty surrounded by supportive caring people, who for the most part know me. :)

Before where I was in California, I had no one. One some level, I suppose the night manager at Denny's and I were about as good as it got. Everyone else partied, dealt drugs, OR they were unbearably prideful, judgemental, controlling, manipulative. It was awful. I wish people there were more self aware of what they are doing and its effects.

And, I am a people in my world too. I wish I was more Driven, like even how I was about 2 months ago. I wish I could just snap my fingers and do the things that I know I need to get done. But lately I just stare at them. I feel a sense of performance anxiety. I'm not afraid to fail, but even if succeed and all my plans came true, It still wouldn't amount to any sense of achievement. It would simply be Par for the course. I need a Birdie or an Eagle, and I feel that dread that comes on just before I go triple bogey.

GLR - What is your favorite thing to do in rainy weather?
Julianna - What is your favorite pre-1970 movie?
iTore - What is the best dish you know how to make without a recipe?
everyone - what is/are your favorite thing(s) to go on a pizza?

oops - gotta go pick up kidlet. Will continue later.

Actually I currently have 2 cats, 2 dogs and a ferret under my roof. The cats are Princess and Feisty.......trust me the names fit their personalities. The dogs are KK and Trevor......not my choices, the Humane Society already had given them names that I just left be. The ferret it Felix......once again named before he was under my roof.
I know a ferret named Felix... I'll have to tell you about the time he called me at 11:35 at night freaking out.

Everyone: Do you have a scar with a funny, not-embarrassing-or-painful story behind it?
Three. One from trying to get a kitten out of a tree, one from doing something utterly stupid with a tin roof, and one I can't see from sitting harshly onto a protruding eye bolt lol

Like a sinister plan for Gingers to take over the world? :D
I note your use of future tense.

Everyone... should we tell him?

:D

Chainhand: What's the weirdest thing you saw today?

A bunch of vines being whirled around and around into each other, feeding into funnels, spinning onto a reel shaped thingy flailing around.

It was like a fever dream. I had to sit down after that one.

PopClick: Have you ever been coyote hunting?

Shouryu: Is it weird if I pronounce your name "Sha-roo"? Let me know if you don't like it. I won't stop.

Julianna: Will anything I say be used against me in a court of law?

Ugly: Do you have numchuck skills?

Ugly: What’s the most encouraging thing anyone has ever said to you?
Something i have shared with others on this site. Don't let your past define who you are now, or who you will become. You are more than the mistakes you have made.

And an attitude that i was affected by, rather than words, was by my then fiance. She knew i had always wanted to be in a band, and while visiting her, and looking into moving near her, she began encouraging me to start looking for people. She brought it up, i had given up on the idea. But she knew it was something that meant a lot to me. It was an amazing feeling for someone to know what meant a lot to me and to take the 'offense' to encourage me to act, rather than countering me when i complained about it.

HarpyEagle: What was your childhood like?
iTOREtheSKY: What was the last dream you remember?

KenThomas: If you had 24 hours to do absolutely anything at all, what would you do?
LilChristian: What is your favorite family memory?
Maxwel: How has your life changed in the last five years?
MissCris: What is your hubby like?
NodMyHeadLikeYeah: If you wrote a book of Nodisms, what would you call it?
Popclick: What's the silliest thing you did this week?
SeoulSearch: I have always been curious about your adoptive parents. What are they like?
ServantStrike: If someone gave you $100 and said you had to spend it within half an hour, what would you do with it?

WiseBeardMan: What is the wisest thing anyone ever told you?
xAlphaOmega: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
YuanYuan: What is a day in your life like?
Zaoman32: What is your fav thing to do with your kids?

More to come....stay tuned

I only get to keep it for a half an hour? What year is it? Usually I'd save the money, but if I have to spend it anyways, I'm assuming it's the "I have to do this" type of need that only can come from a hobby.

If it's 2007-2008, I'd buy parts to build more speakers
If it's 2009, I'd buy another straight razor (for shaving, because its fun)
If it's Last month, I'd have put it towards my new bow
If it was today, I'd buy a gift certificate, which I'd then sell on ebay for 90 dollars, pocketing 90 out of the 100, because I'm pretty broke as usual (probably shouldn't have bought that bow lol).

Lets see, To everyone here, what was/is your dream job?

Ugly: Why do women on this site think your avy looks like a jellyfish. Why do you not like blue jellyfish.
KenThomas: what's the biggest bore handgun you've shot. Rifle is also an acceptable answer. Pics or it didn't happen.
Liamson: are you some sort of skier, it seems you like to ski
GraceLikeRain: Is amazing grace your favorite song?

I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting right now

ALLLLLL of the colors!!!

...sorry, sorry...just imaging someone allowing me that kind of canvas...*drool*

Right. Probably silver and candy apple red, with some black thrown in. So's it would LOOK like a cooler car than it is :p

Oh! And about the pizza toppings...extra pepperoni. Well, some cheese and sauce, too, but mainly...pepperoni. Cooked so the edges are just crispy.

I'm a boring pizza person.

Nautilus: What’s the first thing you think about in the morning and the last thing you think about at night?
Honestly first thing in the morning is 'where is that noise coming from?' then I realize its usually my alarm. After the initial shock of waking up its either straight to work or I call and check up on my parents back home.

Going to bed is normally a mix of where my life is at currently/what can I change tomorrow.

Everyone: Do you have a scar with a funny, not-embarrassing-or-painful story behind it?
Once upon a time, I entered my lovely, clean room and gazed upon the floor. Lark! There was a single, metal hanger laying in the middle of the floor. Nothing else was out of place, and as I continued on into my room I thought to myself, very distinctly, "I better pick that up or I will trip over it."

I proceeded to trip over it.

It didn't break the skin- but I had a six inch line on my foot that has lasted years- only very barely visible now.

Besides that- I am covered in burns and cuts that seem to result in clumsy affairs, the most recent is a horrible scalding on my stomach. I'm trying to find a decent story for it- because it's going to be visible next summer when I put the bikini back on. I don't want to tell the truth about how I was boiling an ice back for sore muscles, and a large splash of hot water decided to leap out of the pot and onto me. I'm at a toss up for wresting a 'gator or a dragon.

smudgless -- how's community college going? God speaking to you in any way different since you left 4-year school ?
I graduated last fall semester with my associates degree. I got on the Dean's List and everything. (Yay!) This past year, I've found myself completely isolated, and when I tried to connect with others, I couldn't seem get anywhere so I got the feeling God wanted me alone with him to learn a few things. And I've been learning plenty, especially on how to be dependent on God. Now I keep hearing every single place I go(Sermon, Sunday School, random people, a sermon at a funeral that I attended recently- all saying the exact same message.) that God doesn't want me alone. I am thoroughly confused.

GreenNnice: I was curious, were you born and raised in the Christian faith, or did Jesus introduce himself at a later date in your life?

Everyone: Again, curious, what do you do for Halloween? Some Christians abhor it while on the other end of the spectrum, some don't mind their kids dressing up as the devil.

And since everyone includes me: My mom was always "eh" about Halloween, though she allowed us to dress up so long as it wasn't anything "evil." We'd go around the neighborhood, but we'd always take the opportunity to drop in at Grandma's and take pictures. These days, there isn't much to do. I like costumes, but nowhere to go and nothing to do. The people who also like to dress up around here at my age like skanky outfits. So the holiday is kind of dead in my life. Buh-dun-chssss. Although- I do take advantage of the candy-sellout on the day after Halloween. Cheap, cheap, cheap sugary rushes.

Hello Miss Smudge! I met you in the chatroom a few times, I recall. If you could do me one favor, I will forever be in your debt. Write at least one size bigger, my eyes are crossing :)

I think that God does not want you to be alone. But I think He may want you to be alone with Him for a time. Just you and Him. You will never be alone in that case.

I do nothing for Halloween, but I'm not a Holiday guy anyway. I couldn't even tell you when Columbus Day or St. Patrick's Day happen.

I love Christmas and Easter, naturally.

Dream job. That's tough to nail down, and somewhat varied haha. I would love to have been a criminal profiler for the FBI (and not because of Criminal Minds =P ). Or done psychology research focusing on mental illness and criminal behavior.

If not that then music. Love the creative aspect of music. You get to be creative visually, aurally and with words as well. And it would allow me to combine my writing into it, something i used to love to do.

So yeah, a dirty transient, or someone who hunts dirty transients... hmm...

And i can only assume that they're drunk off their 6 inch heels from the fermented jellyfish juice. I mean, do you have a better explanation? I didn't think so. And then Grace comes by in all her grand goobitude and feeds the fermented jellyfish juice drunkfest and adds her own heavy dose of goobage to think mix. That's like taking uppers and downers at the same time. Just look at what happened to them. They're seeing jellyfish everywhere.

Huh-wha...uh...*sniff*

Oh. Wow, that's a lot of questions.

Shouryu- Favorite, and also least favorite, way to spend $100?

Hmm. $100 on gas and snacks for a road trip, versus $100 on house repair/maintenance, I'd say. I had to think on that one.

Shouryu - Still in the friendzone with Mia?

Oh yeah. I don't anticipate that changing anytime soon, and I'm fine with that. While I was certainly...uplifted...by the possibility, now I'm just happy to have a friend. With the two week break from work, she's off to see her family in north Texas anyhow, so it's not as if I had the means to make a hard press to change the situation, even if I felt compelled to.

anything changing in your music life? How do you teach a kid musci who is tone deaf?

No changes. Opportunities for change don't usually come in the performing world; they usually come from elsewhere. Tone deaf kids play either clarinet, saxophone, or percussion. And they learn to be less tone deaf. Tone-deaf usually more or less has to do with a person's ability to match a given pitch with their voice. But I've never had a kid who couldn't hear when something was in tune or out of tune, so in truth, I've never had someone who was truly tone deaf. Pitch can be taught.

Shouryu: What or who inspired you to become a teacher? What was your fav teacher like?

Bwa-haff *stifles laugh* !

*composes self*

I didn't want to be a teacher. I wanted to be a performer. After I graduated with a performance degree, I went back for a masters, and as a TA, taught a Music 101 lecture course for non-majors, and discovered I enjoyed teaching music history. So I shifted my masters plan from performance to conducting with the thought of becoming a college band director/lecture professor. After I graduated, I got what I wanted, at a small college a few hours from home. At some point, I made the realization that I was preparing students to be future public school educators, and I was now the type of professor that I made fun of when I was in college: knew all the theory and knowledge, but had zero practical experience. So despite not wanting to, I knew I had to, I left a professorship for public education to get the experience. I've started to find my groove, so I'm not in a rush to get back. Many teachers are passionate about TEACHING! or passionate about STUDENTS! and whatnot. I'm passionate about music, so I'm probably...not...the best example of a teacher with the right attitude, I suppose. ^_^ I wasn't inspired...my current place was...born out of necessity.

But I guess my favorite teacher was my high school band director. Go figure. *shrug* He was the right mix of stern, tough, dissatisfied, encouraging, funny, personable, and motivating. I'm still fighting for that balance.

The one thing I gotta ask......MissCris, does insanity run in your family or are you and Alayna an anomaly?

Cristen and AlaynaJ are related?!

Shouryu: Is it weird if I pronounce your name "Sha-roo"? Let me know if you don't like it. I won't stop.

I dunno, is it weird if I pronounce your name, "Zan-gle-burt Bin-gle-dack?" (That's one for you Eddie Izzard fans out there. You know you laughed. Go Youtube "Izzard Humperdinck" and thank me later.) Although, totally serious, if you lived in El Paso, Chain, no one would likely pronounce your name correctly either...everyone would call you 'Shane-han.' ^_^ For those of you who are curious, it's actually far easier than you think: simple amalgate the words 'shore' and 'you,' with the emphasis on the first syllable, and that's it. Few actually use the whole name and just use "Shour."

Wasn't expecting so many questions. Gonna have to think of some of my own here in a bit. Stay tuned. Same Strong Bad time, same Strong Bad channel!

Julliana -

KJV15John11: If you were a cookie, what would you be?

I WOULDN'T be a cookie that changed it's packaging EVERY day so my consumers could find me when they wanted to!

Yeah, that's right, YOU have consumers. People who faithfully follow your posts day after day. Those who want to be in the know. There's a crisis in the Middle East? What does Julliana say about that? There's a bill coming before Congress? How would Julliana vote? I can't decide if I should wear a blue or red tie to ask my boss for a raise? Which would Julliana pick?

Life is tough enough out here without having the wisdom of Julliana to guide us. Some people can't start their day without their horoscope, I need my Jullianascope. Forget the Old Farmer's Almanac and that rodent groundhog telling me the weather, I want Jullianaradar. What's the latest in fashion? It really doesn't matter because I could care less about fashion. But when it counts, we rely on JullianaTV, all Julliana, all the time!

Oh, I guess I would be a mint stuffed Oreo cookie. It isn't as pretentious as the Girl Scouts' Thin Mints, but just as good for a lot less.

rachel: If you were a car, what would you be?
I've thought about that before. I think the car before the one I have now was very me, and everyone who knew me said so as well. It was a 2012 Ford Focus, a really pretty light blue-ish color. It was quiet, different (had its quirks), pretty (that sounds vain...but it was), listened to music a lot. :p Though, I think I'd like to be a sports car for a while (and drive one, though not own) because I like fast, loud cars. Not the annoyingly loud, but the "Whoa...that was a nice car" kind of loud.

Actually I currently have 2 cats, 2 dogs and a ferret under my roof. The cats are Princess and Feisty.......
You have a ferret!! I love ferrets!! I used to have them, and I hope to have them again someday. Their names were Calvin and Hobbes and they were best buds. They were special to me. So, Oncefallen, do you get the "Ferrets? Don't they stink?" question whenever people find out you have one?

Jullianna - How is life right now for you? How can I be praying for you?

Tintin - If you could be an animal, what would you want to be and why?

PopClick - What's your favorite beverage?

zeroturbulence - When you want some peace, where do you go? Environment-wise.
