It amazes me even more how many follow!!! You see, these deceivers know something! They know the Lord cannot ever go against his word! So on a Sunday afternoon in Church a few healing take place, and instead of the Lord receiving his rightful glory, people think wow, this man is in tune with God, so I will follow him!

There are so very many of these kinds of people, that many have lost there taste for the church! We think, wow now we find out we cannot even trust a believer?? When you go to an apple tree, or a pear tree you notice nothing wrong with the tree itself, but rather the fruit from the tree!

But so many believers have not done what so few are willing to do Brother Praus! ( 2 tim 2:4-19!!) The Lord knows who are his! It does both anger me and make me sad, that so many believers are so lazy in there lives! There excuse to the lord is " Well he lead me astray!! It is all his fault!!" lol

But as we all see, this scripture is becoming more and more presented to us.( 2 Tim 3:1-7!!) The warning we believers give to others in love,is seldom heard, and the reason for this,is because the person you are warning is not hearing. ( matt 13:14-17!!)

We however in the Lord are so grateful to him for his very protection! We read his Word daily,we pray daily, and we love daily. For some others they will continue in there deceit!( 2 cor 11:13-15) But Thanks be to God! Who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of HIM in every place!

We do not peddle the Word, but from sincerity we speak in Christ in the very sight of God himself!!( 2 cor 2:14-17) I am not one to throw stones at another, but we sure can tell bad fruit when we hold it as well! Be aware, and wake up! Time grows ever shorter. We who are in Christ hope for so many they will wake from there sleep!( rom 13:11-14) blessing all!

Antichrist is anyone who does not believe that Christ has come in the flesh.

Potentially, anyone's flesh.

[SUP]19 [/SUP]Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

[SUP]20 [/SUP]Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

[SUP]23 [/SUP]And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:

[SUP]24 [/SUP]For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

A very different day is drawing near, where believing won't be so difficult for many.
When Jesus speaks to His disciples, He is speaking to you, if you are a disciple.

Hardly anyone seems to believe that their sins are forgiven. Hardly anyone seems to believe he is "without sin"

THE MYSTERY DEEPENS AND THE PLOT THICKENS

In response to a direct inquiry by PFO director M. Kurt Goedelman to Hagee, Goedelman received a puzzling response. Hagee claimed in a carefully nuanced letter dated June 18, 1998, that the Houston Chronicle had distorted what he said and went on further to assert, “I have not or never have been dual covenant in my preaching.”

In this, Hagee is being less than honest and playing word games. As this article will demonstrate, Hagee’s true view is a muddled form of the “Two Covenant” or “Dual Covenant” theory, even though he would deny the label.

It should be noted that Hagee said in his reply only that he has not been dual covenant “in my preaching.” His statement did not address whether he believed or taught it, but only that it was not in his preaching. Perhaps in saying he never preached dual covenant he is right, and adds to the subterfuge by not labeling the belief with that exact title. In fact, though, his is a nuanced “Two Covenant” view as his own words will confirm. His response to Goedelman, therefore, closely resembles that of a seasoned politician.

But Hagee has, in his own words, affirmed and elucidated his view of some Jews having salvation without Christ and, in fact, the Houston Chronicle presented a nearly correct version of his position. In a six-page letter to former CRI researcher Erwin M. de Castro, dated Oct. 18, 1994, Hagee elaborated on his view that chapters 9 through 11 of Romans applies exclusively to Jews and no one else. In the letter, Hagee said unabashedly:

“Here is my position on the Jewish people... Fact One: God has not cast away the Jewish people. Fact Two: According to Romans 11:5 there are Jewish people (‘a remnant’) who have a spiritual relationship with God at this present time... according to ‘the election of grace.’”13

Hagee went on to explain that the blindness of Jews in Romans 11:7-8 is only a blindness to the identity of the Messiah, to which he adds, “Paul calls the Jewish people, chosen by the election of grace and not broken off in judgment (Romans 11:17) holy.”14

Hagee then, once again, nuances his position:

“If some of the branches are broken off, that clearly means there are some of the branches not broken off. If they are not broken off, they remain yet on the tree which means they have relationship to God by the election of grace.”15

Here, no matter what he labels it, Hagee commits to a modified “Dual Covenant” view.

On page five of his letter, Hagee repeats his assertion that the blindness of Israel is only as to the identity of the Messiah, not spiritual blindness associated with lack of salvation. However, Paul confirms that the veil of blindness on Jewish eyes can only be taken away in Christ when regenerated by the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:14-18).

In his summation Hagee leaves no question at all as he states:

“There are Jewish people who have relationship with God right now according to the election of grace. (Romans 11:5) ... The Jewish people are judicially blinded to the identity of Messiah... Question: If God blinded the Jewish people to the identity of Jesus as Messiah, how could He send them to hell for not seeing what he had forbidden them to see? ... Inasmuch as God has blinded them to the identity of Messiah, targeting the Jewish people for mass evangelism is fruitless.”16

....

Hagee’s erroneous view — that Jews are saved just because they are connected to Abraham — is not new with him as has been clearly shown.

We must be careful to remember that even the Old Testament Jew was not saved on the basis of pedigree or keeping the Law (which he could not do fully anyway), or connection to Abraham but on the basis of the lamb, the sacrificial system, atonement, the mediating priesthood and faith. Jesus affirmed that it was not Abrahamic pedigree alone but faith in God’s Messiah (John 8:39-59) that would bring salvation. Israel does not have a priesthood or even a sacrificial system to point to today but the Christian has all those things fully wrapped up in Christ as his Prophet, Priest and King, as the Book of Hebrews emphasizes.

Hagee in a sense separates Abrahamic pedigree and election from the Law, which he cannot do. All of Abraham’s descendants were inextricably bound up in the Law. Being a descendant of Abraham and having a connection to the Law and the Old Covenant were all of one piece. Even an elementary student of the Bible would know that pedigree and the Law cannot save.

Gordon Fee and Douglas Stuart, in their work, How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth, A Guide to Understanding the Bible, state:

“If one therefore were to set out to keep the spirit of the Old Testament law, he or she would surely fail eventually. No human being can please God consistently in light of such high, comprehensive standards (cf. Romans 8:1-11). ... The Law shows us how impossible it is to please God on our own. ... In terms of its ability to provide eternal life and true righteousness before God, the Law was quite inadequate. It was not designed for such purposes. Anyone who tried to gain salvation and acceptance by God exclusively through the Law was bound to fail, since the Law was ultimately unkeepable — at least one of its rules was bound to be broken sometime during one’s life (Romans 2:17-27; 3:20). And breaking even one law makes one, by definition, a ‘lawbreaker’ (cf. James 2:10).”39

The belief that some can be saved without an acceptance of and relationship with Christ comes in various forms. The particular slant of Hagee is not only unfaithful to the New Testament but heretical. It abandons the Jew to never hearing the Gospel. It is a subtle but real form of anti-Semitism because it puts a gag order on any evangelist and robs the Jew of the Good News. It is Hagee who is in fact a closet anti-Semite.

...

If the early Church had taken this view that Jews are saved just by being Jews there would have been no Christians in Jerusalem, Judea or Samaria. When Paul was converted, God would have violated His own plan. Under this view Jesus would not have had Apostles and there would not be a Church today. These logical results seem to escape the purveyors of this form of Christian Zionism, which is neither Christian or Zionist.

Psalm 64:1-10 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

Is he still able to seek repentance?, there is only one unpardonable sin, or did he go to far already?
The only reason the sin is unpardonable is because the person does not repent, so, yes, he can still repent, if his heart is still soft enough to seek repentance. Ultimately, the unpardonable sin is the constant refusal to heed Holy Spirit, constantly refusing to truly repent, and thus dying in your sins, which is why it is unpardonable, as no pardon was sought.

Perhaps this response from Pastor John Hagee should be posted so that others will not be corrupted to think evil of this man as some have tried relentlessly.

Dear Friend:
I am writing to share with you some important news pertaining to my latest book In Defense of Israel. It has come to my attention that my choice of language and some of the interpretation being given that language in Chapter Ten has caused some confusion and actually led some readers to question whether I believe that Jesus is the Messiah. If people are reaching such a conclusion, then I have clearly failed to communicate my views as well as I should have.
I have decided to release a new edition of In Defense of Israel with an expanded Chapter Ten. The new version will make the same point as the prior one, but using language which cannot mislead anyone about my bedrock belief that Jesus was and is Lord, Savior and Messiah.
I was surprised to learn that some people were interpreting my words as a rejection of this most fundamental Christian belief that Jesus came to earth as the Messiah promised in the Hebrew Scriptures. I have been preaching the gospel for half a century. Almost every Sunday for the past 50 years, I have stood in front of Christian audiences to clearly proclaim the glory of our Lord, Savior and Messiah, Jesus Christ. For the past 30 years, these weekly sermons have been beamed to millions around the world on Christian television.
Given my long years of preaching the gospel to so many, it simply never occurred to me that anyone would question my belief in the fundamentals of the faith. I chose to use challenging language that I hoped would confront the body of Christ to consider events from the Jewish and historical perspective and therefore develop greater empathy for our Jewish friends.
Over the centuries, Christians have been quick to condemn the Jews for failing to recognize Jesus as Messiah. This approach led to replacement theology and the viewpoint of some that God has rejected and broken covenant with the Jewish people. These ideas, in turn, opened the door to a vicious Christian anti-Semitism that led to the Crusades, the Inquisition and countless pogroms.
I tried to challenge this view by highlighting a distinction that has been long recognized in Christian theology between the role Jesus played in His first coming, and the role He will play in his second coming. Jesus came the first time as the suffering Messiah, as exemplified by His persecution, rejection and crucifixion. Jesus will come back as the reigning Messiah, who will rule the world from His throne in Jerusalem as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
We Christians believe that the suffering Messiah was clearly foreshadowed in the writings of the Hebrew prophets. However, most Jews have never read the prophets in this way. The Jews were expecting the reigning Messiah. I know this, you know this, and our omniscient and omnipotent Savior knows this.
God could have sent His Son to earth as the reigning Messiah the Jews were expecting. Instead He chose to send Him as the suffering Messiah, who submitted to the Cross, and I thank Him every day that He did. But I also regret daily that this divine move has led so many of the fallen humans it saved to denigrate and persecute the Jewish people from whom our Lord sprang.
In the expanded Chapter Ten, I will make the same point with language that does not hide my own perspective on the matter. The primary change will involve how I use the word “Messiah.” In the expanded version, I will clarify the clear distinction between the “Suffering Messiah,” the Lamb of God and the “Reigning Messiah,” the Lion of the Tribe of Judah!
I am deeply grieved for any confusion my writing may have caused the body of Christ. It was never intended. I trust this letter and the expanded edition of In Defense of Israel will clarify what I believe. I also hope that we can return our focus to what I had anticipated to highlight all along, the fact that we Christians must shift from condemning the Jews for what they missed to thanking them for what they gave.

Blessings to you and those you love,
Pastor John Hagee
Yeah. I pretty much said that...but a lot lighter. :) I mentioned that the Jewish folks saw Messiah differently than the way we do. I don't know, though, with the misquoting of Scripture...which I've noticed a few bestselling Christian authors do...I think that is a dangerous line to tread, so if one is going to read any book, they need to know the Bible and be sure to verify the context and truth of the Scriptures used in the books to back the writers thoughts. :)

What I am seeing with most of these comments is this one common theme:

Do not put your trust in men and women, in iconic figures and charismatic speakers, in those that are human, as we all are, and flawed and fully able to fail. Rather, put your trust solely in God. Read and know His word for yourself and use discernment when things are written and spoken. Know the truth and apply it to each and every situation.
Something God has been showing me of late is the danger of 'hero worship'. There have been so many glaring things that have occurred of late that have shown me the truth well known but best avoided by gullible folks such as I once was: men and women fail, make mistakes and need forgiveness and grace, whether in the pews or at the pulpit. :)

There is no Plan B for the Jews. If this man preaches it, he is condemning Jews to hell for not believing, by telling them they do not need to believe in Jesus. That alone means the man has to be exposed!

God is not mocked...

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. Will it be well when He examines you? Or will you deceive Him as one deceives a man? Let him not trust in emptiness, deceiving himself; For emptiness will be his reward. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise. Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

THE GOODNESS OF GOD?
repentance?
for gentiles and jews?
what's that?

APPARENTLY IT'S A NUCLEAR BOMB THAT GOD WANTS TO GIVE THE GENTILES - ON BEHALF OF THE JEWS.

don't wanna be cursed by God do ya??? (per Hagee's satanic corruption of Genesis 12:3)

John Hagee Calls for Pre-emptive nuckler strike against Iran!

oh yes....calling evil good alright.

my Bible doesn't say this is the Great Commission:

"with LOVE from Israel"

we might expect this from the unregenerate or reprobate.
which is why Hagee loves it.
what's worse are the many people sitting there who are cheering him on. There are Christians in Iran, Iraq and neighbouring countries Mr. Hagee. Is it okay for them to die in the process? Maybe he should spend some quality time studying and less time writing books about bombing people???

Heros... I was accused of that recently right here on CC--that I'm seeking followers--I LOL'd.

Jesus Christ went on the cross for us--He's the only one to follow--and the New Testament tells us Who He is--not false teachers.

Luke 9:23 ¶ And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

John 6:66-69 ¶ From that [time] many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

I once read about another crowd who was cheering for Jesus just a few days before the cheers turned into jeers. The people who "Hailed" were as guilty as those who "Nailed" Him.

10 The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
If you are really one of the righteous or one of the upright, then why have you sided with adulterous teachers twice in one week?

Once:

brad1.jpg

Twice:

I think we should continue to preach the gospel to the Jews no matter what, but I am certainly not going to make a charge of heresy as some of you do. I see this man's fruit and the gospel he preaches and thank God for all his endeavors both toward the Jews and toward the Gentiles. I do not see the evil as you see it but I do see the goodness of God and will not forsake that goodness by calling it evil.
John Hagee was the leader of the charismatic Trinity Church in 1975 and was the father of two children. John Hagee had an adulterous affair with a woman and admitted to immorality in front of his church. Pastor John Hagee then divorced the mother of his two children and married a younger woman (Diana Castro, now Diana Hagee) from that same congregation. Pastor John Hagee willfully abused his position of trust and power to take advantage of a younger gullible woman and cheat on his wife.

David was an adulterer and a murderer but God put away his sin, do you read and listen to what he wrote? Shall not our sin be put away when we confess it before the Father? Didn't Jesus make that possible for all of us who have sinned? Perhaps you like searching out other people's sins and iniquities!

Do you think that the throne of David was tainted by David's sin that included both adultery and murder? Yet, the Lord will be given that throne and shall reigning over the house of Jacob forever (Luke 1:32,33)? If you were around during the time of king David and had learned of his sin when he was commander and chief, I am sure you would have taken measures to expose him (out him as you have done here) so that others would no longer trust his leadership or anything he had to say including teaching transgressors God's ways (Psalm 51:13). I don't know what to call the kind of person that would do such a thing.

David was anointed by Samuel, probably the greatest of the judges, by direction of God. Which judge anointed Hagee to be king, and did God direct this anointing? And when David sinned, Nathan confronted him of his sin, and David acknowledged that he deserved to die for it.

I think a closer analogy to Hagee would be one of those false prophets of Baal, who competed against Elijah for Israel's worship of the One True God.

None of us are above sin, and it is wickedness to excuse it because other fellow, fallen but forgiven Christians have also sinned. In Hagee's case, the sin is especially dangerous, because it is preaching against the (so-called) Jews believing in Christ for their salvation. Would you rather hundreds or thousands or millions of "Jews" go to Hell (not to mention possibly Hagee himself), than expose this man's wicked teachings?

There is no shortage of words that can be expressed by the tongue from a deceitful and desperately wicked heart that is embraced against others. The tongue is full of deadly poison set on fire of hell. It speaks well of some while cursing others and should this be? Bitter and sweet coming from the same fount. That's worse than being an unstable double minded soul.

You must seriously have your hand seriously caught in the cookie jar if you're comparing David with John Hagee.

1 Sam 16:13
Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

Shall not our sin be put away when we confess it before the Father? Didn't Jesus make that possible for all of us who have sinned?

His sins are between John Hagee and God.

He committed adultery during his ministry, he's unrepentant, there is no good reason for any clearheaded Christian to follow him. Do you not want him
exposed for some reason?

Perhaps you like searching out other people's sins and iniquities!
If they want to deliberately and unrepentantly live in sin, that's between them and God and the evil spirit that's whispering into their itching ears, that's not my issue at all.

This is spiritual warfare--it's not even about John Hagee--it's about
exposing the spirit (step by excruciating step) that is whispering into his ear. It's going to show up in Hagee's writing and speaking style and in the fruits of his work so that's what we're going to look at.

I think that's called basic discernment.
