2) "Righteousness" and "justice" are the same Greek word, dike.
God presented Jesus as a sacrifice of atonement in order to be just.

It's about God's justice,
so the translation of dike should be "justice," rather than righteousness.

Ro 3:25-26 states that Christ died for the sins of the OT, which he had been passing over
