I meant that if you type "; )" without a space in between, it's the winkie smiley. If you type "<3", it means love, heart, etc. I meant that I tried to put this in my sig:

is less than________three

semi colon_________end parenthesis

Except that I tried to make it without the underline between, so that there was a long space between without the underscore. The thing is, the computer kept scooting the words together like the current signature shows. Does that answer the question?
Sorry, but no, but that's okay. I'm clueless about some of this stuff and I learn a lot just by reading your guys' posts. Heck, it took me a while just to figure out how to post pictures, and that was with detailed instructions on the top thread. :)

Jilly, what do you like better concrete or abstract art ? :)

OH, by the way, if it's any consolation, I didn't understand what ugly did either although the second explanation you did was helpful for understanding the <3 . That made sense. So, 1 for 2? Not bad, if we're playing baseball :)

Thank you for so <3ingly explaining it to me, too, milady. Just got to keep in mind, I got green brains, and, that's no small matter, when it comes to understanding things sometimes :D

You guys, look at the big spaces in between the words on Ugly's post. If you have on your glasses, you can probably see that he made a white line (underline) that you can BARELY see on the off-white background. Not sure if that'll help at all to explain what I mean.

Green, I usually like art that's natural (made with natural things). Like wooden and stone things especially. They're okay carved into shapes, but here's a pic of some of my favorite "God art" :).

TheBlackRider: Cool screen name, what does it mean? Also, is it easy for you to talk to people offline as well? You really seemed to jump right in, which is a great way to make friends, as you must know :).
LOL, thanks for poking me, Jilly81!
i had NO clue someone would ask me a question. :D

Um....my screen name....I've used this name for a couple game sites...LOL, but it's because i like the color black sometimes, and i love horses (or I think i do....) and Rider is just cool....(come on, think Tangled....Flynn Rider is awesome!!) hence...TheBlackRider. ;D

Is it easy to talk to people offline?
HAH. It honestly depends on the people i interact with. Until last year, i was rather clique, and antisocial in a sense....but recently, God has helped me overcome that a bit, and in my senior year, i'm trying my best to branch out to other people. XD So...i guess it's ok talking to people offline. (i have two besties who...just bounce ALL the sarcastic things i say, and it just gets hilarious hanging around the three of us.)
<33
thanks for asking me a question!!! *hugs*

Aw, thanks for the hug :')! *hugs back* That's great to hear, about God poking your personality for His glory and the betterment of all :)! He sure had to do that to me when I was your age, and afterwards as well :). I'm really glad that you're not as cliquish now; likely many of your classmates need a friend to help them stay strong :)!

Cool, I was home schooled as well :).

Reece, I prefer listening to music when I know the artist, at least that's what I've found from you and a few other people on this site. I usually don't like the screamy kind of music; the few times I started playing it, it made me feel sad. I like guitar and piano music as well. In fact, I often like songs better when ONLY the music is playing, like "Boston" by Augustana, which is one of my faves with just the piano part. If the vocals are added I don't enjoy it. I tend to like restful music, though I like exciting music as well.

Oh, and I answered your other questions as well. I'll have to get to Green's tomorrow; it's late-ish :).

Music? Most genres. Not country and western. I can handle some screaming etc. but I don't like too much of it.

What kind of music does everyone like?
I own a bit of everything I suppose. I pretty much despise most country western/rap/pop stuff. (there are exceptions) Acceptable country-esque stuff I own..Johnny Cash , Grace Potter & The Nocturnals , The Civil Wars. As far as RAP,the only stuff I really like would be The Beastie Boys & Public Enemy...or P.I.D.(AKA: Preachas) on the christian vibe. My main interests lay in Thrash/Heavy Metal...Industrial...and Jazz. Like I say though...one day I might be listening to 2nd Chapter Of Acts, then Skinny Puppy, followed by Delerium, then onto some Fates Warning, followed by Billy Cobham, and then top it all off with AWOLnation.:D

I love Shane & Shane, TobyMac, Jamie Grace, LeCrae... stuff like that. I listen to some secular music as well, usually from the Top 40 because that's what's playing on the radio. I love jazz, blues, pop, hiphop, rock and soul.

I'll be the one person not hating on country music. Brad Paisley and ZBB, two of the very best musicians. Plus lots of contemporary mainstream Christian music plus some "off the beaten path" stuff.

I listen to almost any kind of music, the only thing I really cannot stand is techno/ trance + other kinds of music where the same notes or words are repeated over and over and over and over again :p

Jilly: (since you like natural art) do you tend to pick up stones and bring them back home?

What kind of music does everyone like?
Jazz
Classic Rock (When musicians were real and lyrics were amazing)
R&B
Classical
Modern country

Don't like: hip hop/whiney country (because they sound like they are using the same music over and over, just changing the lyrics) or screamers (especially if I can't understand the lyrics)

princessaim: so you are with a new car since your one you showed us with a picture of its hurt side? What best advice would you give someone who is single now, having come from a marriage? :)Pharmacy? You should talk to zere, he wants to get in that field, unless he is now. Can you do that :)

I do have a new car! It's a 2005 Jetta. I'm very glad I bought it. It's great on gas!

I've never been married, but I'd say the best thing to do is to wait to heal before getting in another relationship. This advice really goes for anyone. We tend to jump from person to person without bothering to take inventory or go through the healing/grieving process.

I personally am getting out of the pharmacy biz ASAP. Ugh! I graduate in April, so I hope to be working in a doctor's office or hospital.

ZeroTurbulence: How's the new job going :)?
Thanks for asking, Jilly. :) It's going well overall. I was worried for awhile because there were a few things that felt like a huge challenge in the beginning, like communicating face-to-face with the public (I'm an extreme introvert, remember? :)). But now I am much more comfortable and finally starting to enjoy what I'm doing. There are still some challenges that come up but I feel much better equipped to handle them now and I no longer feel like its the end of the world when I can't answer a patient's question about something. I just hope that I can continue to improve and learn without too much trouble. :)

zeroturbulence - When you want some peace, where do you go? Environment-wise.
Thanks for asking, Rachel. :) My favorite place to go when I want peace is the beach. :) There's nothing like the ocean air, the sound of the waves and the endless view when it comes to refreshing one's mind and it also makes me feel closer to God.

Of course I can't do this too often since the beach is about an hour's drive, so sometimes I just drive to a parking lot and sit in my car and listen to the radio or talk to God and/or read some random scriptures (I always keep a bible in my car).

If it's at night I like to go for a drive, especially if its late and the roads are empty. Its so peaceful and pretty. I wish everyone could experience that at least once. :)

ZeroTurbulance - I know you have Phillipino heritage, but forgive my ignorance...do you live in the Phillipines, or in the US???
I live in the good ole' US-of-A :D. California to be exact. I lived in the US practically my whole life and grew up on the east coast, and I can barely even speak my own native tongue. :p

ZeroTurbulance: What do you do?
I sell drugs :D I used to be a graphic artist but I got burnt out and tired of the industry and I wanted to pursue my secret wish of always wanting to work in the medical field so now I'm a pharmacy technician. :) I'm also thinking about going into nursing or some other type of medical field in the future. :D
