Again I ask womanlovestx ?, what is your reply to my earlier post? Yesterday Jesus did not do all the law , yet today you post he did indeed do all the law? I've kept your posts close at hand, and I would be grateful for an answer ? Which is it sister the truth I mean?, yesterday's post or today's post ?, most grateful....
Please post the contradictions. I haven't changed my stand that (I'll make bold, not sure that will help) JESUS DID NOT DO ALL THE LAWS PERSONALLY BUT HE KEPT ALL THE LAWS THAT PERTAINED TO HIM. JESUS DID NOT DO AWAY WITH GOD'S LAW - TORAH. NEITHER ARE WE TO MAKE VOID GOD'S COMMANDMENTS WHETHER THEY ARE OF OLD TESTAMENT OR OF THE NEW TESTAMENT. PERIOD.

Your last post? All verses keep my commandments? What commandments are we to keep in these times? We follow Jesus and trust him to make us obey all the commandments of god? Still your emphasis is on the written laws? Hoffco has made it clear in his reply to you bt yet you still dnt see or hear what he is saying? This is why I said I wouldn't waste a other 100 pages debating with you, you refuse to accept the truth when its plainly in front of you dear sister. I'm afraid that's the reason I cnt debate constantly but I've not seen any corrections by you in any posts regarding your post page 133....

For womanlovestx ? There are no contradictions? There is just heresy on your behalf sister, and I've posted several posts today and you simply will not relent one iota ? I fear for you my friend, as you display the same blindness that has been with gods chosen people since Christ himself was present in the form of man no time, no words, nothing will change your view, til our lord appears again then n only then shall you see as you ought ...

did he fullfill the law or not?
Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Heb 7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

So what do these verses mean? Can we take four verses out of this letter and build a solid doctrine? Does this mean that God did away with His own law that scripture stated to be perfect, good, and just (Psalm 19:7, James 1:25, Proverbs 4:2, Romans 7:12, Romans 7:16, 1 Timothy 1:8)?

Are we to abolish the Law of God in our faith (Romans 3:31)? Did God somehow make an already perfect law according to His own standards even better by changing the commandments, or as some say, by abolishing them?

To answer your question, Yes, Jesus fully preached and taught the commandments of God, reinforcing that the PURE WORD (as opposed to the traditions and man made rules the Pharisees and Saducees imposed upon the faith) is HOLY, GOOD, PERFECT and JUST. WHAT STINKS AND JESUS MADE CLEAR THAT WAS TO BE DONE AWAY WITH WAS MAN'S TRADITIONS THAT MAKE GOD'S WORD VOID. DO NOT MISHANDLE THE WORD OF GOD. DO NOT ADD OR TAKE AWAY FROM THE COMMANDMENTS AND LAWS.

Mat 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Mat 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
Mat 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do
; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
Mat 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

When sitting in the seat of Moses, they read verbatim from the Torah. When the Pharisees stood up, they taught man made traditions and doctrines of men. Jesus was saying, What is read from the Torah is what you are to do, but do not do what they say when they are teaching from their own traditions and doctrines.

We see the same is still true today. Many Christian churches keep their man-made traditions and doctrines that make void God's Holy Words that are to be eternal.

One poster mentioned that the Sabbath is done away with. I disagree and believe that Sunday replacing Sabbath is heresy and is adding and changing the Word of God.

Jesus fulfilled the law in that He came and taught as a Master (of OT)/a Rabbi/Teacher, showing how to properly handle the Commandments/Laws and did not do away with them.

Jesus does not want His followers to follow man-made traditions. So the question turns around, since Jesus fulfilled all the law, what are you going to do with it?

The 10 Commandments of GOD are kept by Keeping the Great Commandment, and the second like it.

Your switching like the weather? And are in danger of slipping up in the water I'm afraid ? Much study avails nothing unless the Holy Spirit that Jesus sent enlightens us? The law doesn't enlighten nor enable? Tis Jesus who is responsible for revealing truth no ifs no buts about it? Amen ....

Luke 24

44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
Now if only we could seek understanding on how the 10 Commandments are separate to the law of Moses.

Matthew 5 does give us instruction.

Does the Messiah remind us to get circumcised? no that is the law of Moses.

Does the Messiah reminds us to keep the land Sabbath? no that is the law of Moses.

What is mentioned in Matthew 5?

Though take heed loveme1 for the bar was raised and examples given by the Messiah express this.

I agree. The first 4 commandments show us How to love God.

Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

(1) Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
(2) Exo 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Exo 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
(3) Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
(4) Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

If we obey these 4 commandments we are Loving God the way He asks us to Love Him.

Or there other ways that God and Christ require? Jesus said and the apostle John and Paul echoed:

(Mat 19:17) And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

(Joh 14:15) If ye love me, keep my commandments.

(Joh 14:21) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

(Joh 15:10) If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

(1Co 7:19) Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

(1Jn 2:3) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

(1Jn 2:4) He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

(1Jn 3:22) And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

(1Jn 3:24) And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

(1Jn 5:2) By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

(1Jn 5:3) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

(Rev 12:17) And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

(Rev 14:12) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

The second commandment that is like it is contained in the 6 commandments of the ten.

(5) Exo 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
(6) Exo 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
(7) Exo 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
(8) Exo 20:15 Thou shalt not steal.
(9) Exo 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
(10) Exo 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Jesus came and fulfilled the law, that is filling up the complete meaning of the law. He is our Master/Teacher/Rabbi...not only an authority on Old Testament, but the author of the Old Testament.

Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1Jn 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

The ten commands, and many more, are included in the law of moses.

In matt 5, Jesus shows the ten commands were not complete. in that they did not give us the whole picture. SO one can obey the ten, yet still be in sin.

i believe it is we that were not complete not born of the Holy Spirit, having our Heart circumcised.

eg, it is so that the 10 Commandments does not command us to do things we find ourselves doing by adhering to the Words of the Messiah, but the 10 i believe are the tenor.

What did Jesus fulfill on the cross?

He fulfilled over 300 prophecies. He fulfilled the Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Shavuot (the Holy Spirit arrival) 100% perfectly. Jesus is God's perfect lamb sacrificed. He is the last sacrifice for the sins of all the world and most specifically for me. Jesus is our High Priest who intercedes for us before God. Jesus shed blood is all we need for salvation and His resurrection is all we need for our blessed Hope of also being resurrected to eternal life in the kingdom of God. Jesus' teaching the whole Word of God is all we need for how to walk in this newness of life of the renewed marriage covenant. He became my Bridegroom and I became His bride. To say all this, I must add Jesus will perfectly, 100% fulfill Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Succot, and The Great Eighth Day. There are many prophecies that are yet unfulfilled and the book of Revelations begins with Jesus speaking:

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep/obey those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

I have answered you several times. The reason I use much dialog is because this subject matter is the biggest divide between Christians who believe that the Law of God is not voided by the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. The modern day, traditional or mainstream churches who follow that Jesus voided the OT laws is the broad path. I am not on that broad path, I am on the narrow path that leads to righteousness. The benefits of believing the whole Bible is still relevant for our lives today is so much clearer than the old path I once was on, believing that I was of the Church, separate from those people in OT, blah blah blah.

I am an ingrafted Israelite through the blood of Messiah Yshua! I believe the Torah is intended for all believers Jew and gentile. I am Torah observant and grace dependant. Although I seek to obey all of Torah that applies to me I fail to do so perfectly and so I am dependant on the grace of Yah for forgiveness.
