Forgive me all on this thread for diverting a second? If there is an Israeli Jewish person actually living in the holy land today, or anyone with truthful legal status on here could help me with this question I would much appreciate it? No opinions please or hearsay I need the actual legal status on this one? Maybe 2 questions lol , how many books of the Old Testament do the Jewish people follow and believe. And are any of the Old Testament books banned in Israel ? Many thanks to whomever may know and replies , strictly no hearsay or guessing I need the facts legally today in modern israel....

Giving our lives to God as a LIVING Sacrifice is very serious. And can not be covered over lightly by saying ,it is Jesus doing the living in me. and I just go in neutral. Gal. 2:20 tells more of our living for God than Christ living thru me His life. NO WAY , Paul said ,: "the life which I live in the flesh(MY BODY)I live by faith in the Son of God, " We live in our bodies the holy life God has planned for us to live for His glory. this is a :LIVING SACrifice" using our minds hands feet, etc, all to the glory of God as we trust God to work in us to do His good will ,God helps us, inpowers us, but we do the living . The new birth experience is death to our old fleshly sinful nature so now we can live with our new nature a life pleasing to God. But , we still has the old sinful nation in us ;So we have to keep putting it to death. we need to bear our spiritual cross ,dying to sin each moment. Why is Daniel Not a Prophet?
I am often asked why the Book of Daniel is included in the Writings section of the Tanakh instead of the Prophets section. Wasn't Daniel a prophet? Weren't his visions of the future true?
According to Judaism, Daniel is not one of the 55 prophets. His writings include visions of the future, which we believe to be true; however, his mission was not that of a prophet. His visions of the future were never intended to be proclaimed to the people; they were designed to be written down for future generations. Thus, they are Writings, not Prophecies, and are classified accordingly.

Well its clear to me now after so much comment by many and the regulars that the time has come for me to withdraw from the thread there are many classes of believers on here ex Catholics Jewish people,new testament believers among a few , but rather than argue constantly and endlessly sometimes healthily, other times not, I've decided to start a new thread regards prophecy and were are we really in time right now? What's ahead, and I intend join another website and partake thier , I want to also say god is much bigger than man knows much bigger than our differences and I believe everyone is entitled to thier beliefs no matter what I think or others? But I also believe we need as Christians have a duty to treat every word of god with great care and attention to detail, the revelation of gods word to man came through the man Jesus Christ planned many eons ago by both the father and the son (the word) and this is often not the case here I'm really sad to say many thanks to all who've enjoyed and liked wat I've said and much love to those who disagree and even those who think I'm a few currants short of a fruitcake?, but I know who has shown me these things, and it weren't no man? First time I've been on thread for such as 2/3wks thank you all for all I've gleaned, you know who you are?? i have a problem, may be you can help. using modern day eyes. is moses a killer or mass murderer, or a man of god.
give he must have thought it was wrong the he killed the first time, as why run away, his father was in charge of egypt. or was he running from the punishment that his egypt would give him.
then god steps in. either way works from a judgement point of view.

speculation. this forum is not about end times. sorry you will be amazed, how you read one thing on here and you cant find it again. why would i have thought you were 83 lol and speculation to your daniel post. why did god give the gift of interpeting dreams. just a small thought if numbers and letters are used to find meaning to dreams.

16 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. 17 If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain. 18 If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The Lord Comes and Reigns
14 A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls.
2 I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake[a] in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.
6 On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness. 7 It will be a unique day—a day known only to the Lord—with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light.
8 On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.
9 The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.
10 The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place. 11 It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.
12 This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another. 14 Judah too will fight at Jerusalem.
