Thank yall for your thoughts. But, it is impossible to live for God without the cross. I don't care how super christian one thinks they are. We are nothing with out the cross. I know the cross offends many christians because their faith is in their works. But the bible does not lie, our righteousness is a filthy rag and we lean on the cross. The cross save us, sanctifies us, and justifies us. We cannot and should not ad to it. We are just as holy by faith in the cross as Paul and Peter and John and the rest. The only thing that we can add is our testimony of how the cross saved or delivered or healed us and thats it. Thank God for the cross!!!

"Can a Christian live for God without the cross?" There is no such a thing as a Christian if there is no cross. Cross, Burial, Resurrection. Jesus is Lord. Because of the cross there are Christians.
 
But how many realise that they live for God by the cross and not some psychology that their preacher is preaching. Now Rick warren is saying that we can find common ground with the muslims. That we worship the same God and if we unite globally we all be good. Wrong!!!!
 
Kerry I did not see ONE PERSON saying the CROSS is not part of salvation... What I did see though is people that does not understand that AS LONG AS YUO NEED THE CROSS YOU NEED TO BE SAVED....

What we did say was... The CROSS IS THE BEGINNING OF GETTING A PERSON IN GOD.... NOT THE END...

Kerry here is the five steps of salvation with the CROSS in the STEPS...

1. God calls sinner to repent.
2. God leads sinner OUT OF SIN, with the lead of the Holy Spirit.
3. When that person follows the Holy Spirit out of all sin, GOD WASH THAT SIN AWAY WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS ON THE CROSS.
4. God NEVER HAS TO WASH IT AGAIN... This person is now FREE from sin. A SAINT.... Washed as pure as God is pure,..
5. These Saints God wants ALL IN ONE BODY..These Sants (sinless people) need to be JOINED TO THE PERFECT BOY OF CHRIST... So they need to be perfectd... GD DOES THIS BY INPLANING HIS SEED IN THEM... THe EXACT SAME SEED THAT IMPREGNATED MARY... THIS HOLY SPIRIT NOW FILLS THIS PERSON...

That HE DOES by giving you ALL THINGS to BE EXACTLY LIKE JESUS.... The SAME MEASURE, STATURE, and FULNESS. THe SAME GLORY Jesus had. THE SAME GODLINESS Jesus had as MAN... That is when you know you are saved... WHEN GOD GAVE YOU CHRIST JESUS TO LIVE IN YOU, AND YOU IN HIM. NOT IN HIS CROSS, IN HIM. JESUS IS MORE THAT THE CROSS, HE IS THE RESURRECTED HOLY PERSON AS WELL...
 
Cobus I understand That I am free from sin by the means of the cross. I understand that the Holy Spirit can sanctify me by the means of the cross. I understand that I am justified by the means of the cross. But not by my own actions. Faith in the cross the only thing that the Father will accept and we are not perfect. We fail at times but Jesus us there with outstretched hand helping us back on our feet. We have not attained sinless perfection until we lose this flesh body. does that make sin okay, certainty not, sin will take its toll unless it is put under the blood of Christ. That means repentance. Moses was a murderer was he not. it had to be put under the blood and he had to whack off part of his manhood symbolic of Christ in order for that sin to not take affect. Because it was under the blood. You are wrong when God sees a man that has faith in the son He sees nothing but the blood of Christ.l
 
Kerry can you show me scripture with the words... FUTURE SIN? A SAINT has no future sin or God would not call him a saint...

Kerry i think you must give me your meaning of the WORD SAINT... LEt us start there.

And what i just CANNOT see is that I ever preached a person can do it on his own... your FALSE doctrine puts things in you confused mind that only SATAN can put there.... Please show ne ehre I said YOU CAN DO IT WITHOUT GOD?


The Holy Spirit leads you to the cross for washing... and you sill NEVER get there if you do not lay down the sin the Holy SPriit tells you to lay down... In stead of adding and twisting God's Word with words like FUTURE SIN... Satan's words... Does Jesus also have future sin like all HIS BROTHERS? Nope not one of them have...
So Stop saying Satan' things in a Bible discussion thread.


Let me show you how the Spirit leads to the cross. and this I can prove with the Word of God, unlike you will be able too with FUTURE SIN... there is no such thing as FUTURE SIN... it is not a blessing but a CURSE you speak out...

You curse yourself if you say you have FUTURE SIN... what if the HOLY SPIRIT DISIDES YOU WILL SIN NO MORE...THEN YOUR WISH FOR FUTURE SIN NULLIFIES THE BLESSING? I think not...


The Holy Spirit does not give you hope of sin in the future, he gives you hope to be A PERFECT CHILD OF GOD RIGHT HERE ON EARTH...

Now I am going to give you SCRIPTURE.... and you must tell me... where is this man that has the hope to be a child of God. Here on earth or in some place after death? And where does this man PURIFIETH himself, even as GOD IS PURE?


Kerry do not EDIT this verse of twist it just answer where this man is, and where he will purify himslelf as pure as god is pure (sinless) (NO SIN) (ABSOLUTELY NO SIN IN GOD, AND NO SIN IN MAN) that pure... God is that pure, and so can this man be... Just answer where this man is when he have this hope, and where does he purify himself...


The purification we will discuss just now.... just get it in your head that this happens ALL HERE ON EARTH or I cannot help you my friend, if you cannot see this, then I cannot help you to see more...
 
Kerry let us start at ne point you made... Just show me where God look at the blood. If you cannot then you are FALSE!Show me a verse that says... God sees a man that has faith, God looks at the blood...THAT IS STAIGHT FROM SATAN... Not in the WORD, NOT TRUTH, NOT TRUTH, THEN SATAN....

Show me the VERSE and I will show you GOd declares a man that has faith as a righteous man, as Righteous as GOD IS RIGHTEOUS.... NO BLOOD IN THAT VERSE...

Saint, A person that believes in the cross and loves God. That is a saint. They may not be perfect but was David. Was Paul. I guess your doctrine that is not bible makes you perfect. I need the cross and you don't you have obtained perfection by salvation and no longer need it. Am i right or wrong?

From the GREEK WORD HAGIOS... meaning.... SPIRITUALLY PURE, (PURE AS GOD) MORALLY BLAMELESS (DOES NOT DO SIN) MOST HOLY ONE (As sanctified in Godliness as GOd IS HOLY) No cross no blood in the explaination...

Thats my goal Cobus, But we cannot obtain that goal. Sin is ever prevalent with us. Can you in this flesh body enter the presence of the father? why not? why must we go through Jesus to get to the father. Why? why can't I see the father and talk to Him face to face. Why? Why do I need a mediator between Him and I. Why?
 
Kerry just a heads up, it's a bad idea to get into a debate with cobus about being perfect. he may not be right but he is relentless in his belief and will not listen to anything you have to say.
 
I will admit the Cross made the saint. but the SAINT IS ALREADY THROUGH THE CROSS.... THE CROSS IS FINISHED FOR THE SAINT... THE FILLING OF GOD HIMSELF IS NEXT FOR THE SAINT... RIGHT HERE ON EARTH... Because as God is so are ALL HIS CHILDREN HERE ON EARTH... PERFECT!

WE ARE PERFECT HERE, AS OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN IS PERFECT, THE MMENT GOD SAVES US.. GOD ONLY SAVES SAINTS... GOD STARTS WITH SINNER, MAKE HIM SAINT, THEN MAKE HOM GODLY PERFECT...

If you so not blieve My words, I will show the SCRIPTURE,,, thousands of them say this.. the WHOLE BIBLE TEACH... TURN FRO SATAN TO GOD... ANd God says.... SINNER, COME TO ME!!!God does not allow a sinner INTO HIM, THAT IS WHY THERE IS A CROSS MENTIONED IN THE WAY... BUT YOU START WIT THE CROSS AND CNTINUE WITH THE CROSS UNTILL YOU ARE PURE...
AND EVEN THEN YOU ARE NOT SAVED YET... So how far are you with REPENTANCE... CARRY YOUR CROSS... THERE IS AN END TO THIS CARRY YOUR CROSS... THIS IS STILL FOLLOWING THE SPIRIT, NOT LIVING THE SPIRIT...

The CHILDREN OF GOD DOES NOT FOLLOW THE SPIRIT, THEY ARE THE SPIRIT IN FLESH... Do you see the difference?

BALIN Jesus was so fortunate... When Jesus said the words... BE PERFECT, he had not ONE AGUMENT ABOUT IT, why should I have when I only repeat what Jesus said... Read this and see NO ONE SAID... JESUS WE WILL ALWAYS BE SINNERS< AND CANNOT BE PERFECT HERE... Read this ..Mat 5:48, Mat 6:1

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

And God says, if we are not perfect, HE IS NOT OUR FATHER... Then SATAN is... GOD IS ONLY FATHER OF THE PERFECT...
