Looking forward with our discussion... Kerry you are SO CLOSE TO SEE YOUR ERROR, I pray God and Holy Spiritin the WORD of GOD WILL SHOW YOU HOW POWERFUL GOD SAVES.. Love you too my friend. I have the shield OF FAITH IN PERFECTION, AND THE SWORD OF THE WORD THAT TEACH PERFECTION HERE ON EARTH.. YOU WILL NOT TOUCH ME, THE WICKET CANNOT EVEN TOUCH ME, I KEEPETH MYSELF, AND THE WICKET TOUCHETH ME NOT...

Bring your sword of non-truth, hide behind your false faith... the WORD OF GOD WILL CUT YOU FREE FROM ALL LIES, AND ALL EVIL..

Just one thing to think about... If God does keep you from evil.... GOD KEEPS TERRY FROM EVIL (do you think Evil can touch you, or influence you or cause you to sin? Remember it is not YOU that keeps you from evil, itis GOD KEEPING YOU FROM EVIL.

So I guess I ask if GOD KEEPS TERRY FROM EVIL, CAN GOD DO IT SO EFFICIANTLY THAT TERRY CANNOT DO EVIL, OR EVEN THINK EVIL? Answer this please TERRY!

Who me or GOD? Look here is the verse...

God began on me and God will FINISH THE GIFT FOR ME... 2 Cor 8... that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace /gift also.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

And what u done to rise in Faith?U hold fast?Pray whole night?Denie yourself as unworthly?Live in ascetism,in cave, without bed,did u sell everything u had and gave to poor? What u doing to grow as Christian?

The cross was the atonement only because of christ it was christ and what he did on the cross , that is the grace given , the truth is his righteousness his holiness now that the grace is given it is time to comform to his image his likeness that cannot happen with mere words but with his Holy Ghost and the sword his truth that sanctifies . Because of the blood atonement on the cross..

What does the cross mean to you? I believe that the cross is the ultimate move of God. I believe that there is nothing else. Believe that the Holy Spirit can only move on a person that has their faith exclusively in the work of the cross and nothing else, No not your works, nor how Holy you try to live. But solely in the cross. Most, if not threads on this forum, can be answered in the cross. The problem we are faced is, is where is our faith. What is it placed in?

It may be that some use the term "cross" to refer to the Power, Love and Forgiveness of our Gracious GOD.

Along with our Messiah that day two men were crucified alongside Him.

Scripture was being fulfilled to bring us Salvation.

We are to believe in Him for eternal life.

The Messiah Yahshua gave us His Testimony and was Crucified then Resurrected and Ascended up.

We are to believe all of this, we are to hear and keep the Messiah's Testimony.

It is the Messiah who was Crucified that commands much of us.

Our Faith is increased by doing all that is Commanded of us.

Delija, I am doing what GO tells me to do... It is to point you in the right direction. I have done EVERYTHING God told me to do. And I am writing this also in obedience... I reproof with Scripture....

And you ask if I pray whole night? One week I prayed WHOLE WEEK without sleep. Fasted and prayed whole week. Never been closr that that to God, except right now... I type with a love in me for you, that I cannot eplain... The Truth in me is flowing like liveing waters unto the laptop screen. These words I share with you come from God...

Where is my future... I do not know, who knows maybe God send me to you in person, like this.... 2 Tim 3. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
I told you before, I am not perfect yet, but I am made free by the Truth.... I still NEED ONE MORE THING FROM GOD... THE BIRTH FROM GOD... THE BORN OF GOD... Then I will be ....THE MAN OF GOD, MADE PERFECT AND THROUGHLY FURNISHED UNTO ALL GOOD WORKS... I know the works, but GOD HAS TO THEM IN AND THROUGH ME.... That can only be done WHEN GOD MOVED INTO MY FLESH....

My friend EVERY statement i make I can show Scripture... So who's concept is it mine or God's? I only believe His Word, and that is also a gift from HIM...

Amen Loveme1, When the Faith took us all the way we are TRULY IN HIM AND HE IN US... When Faith carried us to His bosom, HE WILL LIVE THE RESURRECTED LIFE IN US... WOW! What an AWESOME GOD WE SERVE AND BELIEVE TO MAKE US HIS CHILDREN...

Awesome and beyond is our GOD.

God one's for all time showed what Christian must do to rise every day in faith.Rule is one and the same for everyone.I do not recognize west understanding because it is corrupted to the limit.Am speaking here about original understanding of salvation and how it comes,as a process long for whole life.
Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it (Matthew 7:13-14)
So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen (Matthew 2o:16).
Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to will, will seek to enter and will not be able” (Luke 13:23-24).
“And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.” When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:24-26).

The way into the Kingdom is difficult, the path narrow, because the way itself is actually difficult and the path is actually narrow. These things are not true because God wants it to be hard for us to enter the Kingdom – they are hard on account of the nature of the spiritual disease that afflicts us.
No one is surprised to be told that the path to the remission of their cancer will be difficult (generally we are simply glad to hear that there is any path at all!). Nor do we blame the doctor for the difficulty of our treatment.
The spiritual disease (sin) that afflicts us stikes at the very fiber of our humanity, the very mode of our being. St. Paul describes sin as corruption (φθορὰ), a word that essentially means “rot.” It is what happens when the process of death works in us unchecked. Death corrupts us, body, soul and spirit.
The teaching of the New Testament is not about how to be admitted to paradise – it is about how to become the kind of human who can actually live in paradise. Paradise is not a moral achievement – it is an ontological change.
I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. (1Co 15:50)

The life of change and healing (being transformed from glory to glory into the image of Christ) is the narrow way. The borders of the road are marked with radical honesty and a willingness to endure and engage whatever is required for the transformation. We move from the fragmentation of our individual life towards the integration and wholeness of life in Christ, characterized by the fullness of self-emptying love. This is the life of grace – but grace can be painful and will take us down the difficult path. St. Paul was knocked off a horse and blinded by grace. Works would be easier!

The answer is EXTREME HUMILITY!

Amen. It is JESUS we should worship.....now, it's great to recognize the cross, but important to recognize it for what it is. That being it is a symbol of the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ to establish God's salvation plan for mankind.

The cross is a wonderful and much loved SYMBOL, but it is just a symbol...........JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.......lest we forget.

The things you are listing here are misconstrued understandings of Scripture. Just saying......

Man,don't be silly...

Odd statement indeed....... Hebrews 12:1) Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. 2 .) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I see by your profile that you do not profess to be "saved." Maybe this explains your thoughts posted here?

That u think.Ask Holy Fathers and they will tell u the same.

What holy fathers are you speaking of?

I know of ONLY ONE Holy Father...........GOD THE FATHER.......and I do ask Him, and He answers me through the HOLY BIBLE.

........just saying.......
