I believe God speaks to me. I have taken different routes to a destination - come to find out - I had avoided being in an accident due to listening to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. All revelation is not for EVERYONE nor should it be added to scripture - God speaks to each of us born again of His Spirit. He leads us through scripture and direct communication. Fellowship with God is a two way relationship -

Why is it considered that if God speaks to someone they are a prophet? If I have a tough decision to make, I go to God and discuss the situation with Him and ask Him for guidance - why wouldn't He do that? God is our Father and desires fellowship with his children - I talk to him - why wouldn't he talk to me?
I just wish to add this:

I stand at the door and knock. If you will open up, I will come in and sup with you.

And then there are the Christians who say to throw out all of the law and go by the HS, and what God tells us. Don't need to check that out with scripture, we are to be led by what God tells us, our minds are so pure and wonderful after we receive the Holy Spirit that anything that comes into that pure mind can be trusted.
Red, Red, Red,

This HS who is known as the Holy Spirit tells us the same Law. I would rather be lead by God than Law.

I got in a lot of trouble for this.......I used to lay hands on people, and they surely got delivered. A well placed left hook to the gut, and a fairly good right cross to the chin usually delivered them to the ground.

But, GOD TOLD ME to stop doing this sort of thing, and to love not only my neighbors, but my enemies as well. GOD TOLD ME that a kind word would turn away much wrath.

Peace be with you and this is what LORD JESUS CHRIST said in the Holy Bible;
1. No one knows the hour and time of HIS coming.
2. There will Tribulation (rule of anti-CHRIST)
3. And there will be Great Tribulation (the wrath of GOD upon this earth)
4. GOD shortens the time of Tribulation from seven to three and a half years for HIS 'elect's' sake. (Why GOD talks about HIS elects being remained during this time, when one on the other hand believes they will be taken up before Tribulation?)
5. Every foundation will be tested by fire.

We must also remember the early church went through Tribulation for doing right during the time of Nero. They laid down their lives for righteousness sake being Christians. Many perished during this time including the Apostles and GOD was silent.

As it is written; "Even satan disguises himself as an angel of light and it is not surprising that his servants disguises themselves as servants of righteousness."

I think the misunderstanding of how God leads us in our personal life goes much deeper than "God told me". Many are saying that "the spirit of God led me" without checking the leading they have with the word of God. I have even read postings that insist that being led by the spirit aces out any other scripture, especially if that scripture is in the Old Testament. Because much of Old Testament is but a bare outline of what Christ fulfilled, they use scripture to justify denying scripture.

Of course you want to be led by the Holy Spirit, that is what Christianity is all about. But if you are led away from law, if you check with how you are led and it isn't within law, then it isn't the Holy Spirit that led you.

All these folks getting a different story from God, really? . . . It’s enough to make you swimmy-headed.

Ask those guys how God did introduce Himself to them and ask them what means God did use to speak to them? If those guys will just go back to the pages of the bible to warrant their claims, then it is clear that they are just coming from the bible and not from the living Almighty God with whom Moses walked for quite sometime in the past.

I thank GOD i never thought of them falling, i just laid hands as THE LORDS word commanded and the power of GOD made them fell. I did not force them to be laid hands by me, they agree on themselves. and yes demons can manifest themselves when we lay hands on people, so i pray from a good distance when its time to cast out demons(open eyes praying).

The Gospel is preached indeed, but HEALINGS and MIRACLE follow up.
What did the Lord tell the pharisees? Ye do err because ye KNOW NOT the SCRIPTURES NOR the POWER OF GOD..

The Truth is preached and the POWER OF GOD is manifested to all those who believe so they may learn to FEAR THE ONE AND TRUE GOD(get em disciplined).

So i lay hands as the LORD leads, i cast demons as the Lord leads, everybit and part as the LORD leads to get the WORK done. His way, His work, HIS Creation. Not mine, His glory, HIS STRENGTH, HIS WORD, HIS POWER. not mine so its HIS way or the HIGH WAY..

JESUS BLESS YOU SIS...

I speak what i have seen and done, and they are things of the earth(HIS KINGDOM shall be with man), WILL those who do not believe this? BELIEVE in HEAVEN? I doubt it...

Actually Its quite simple to know the WORKS OF GOD through a man if those who discern are indeed SPIRITUAL. ie Those who are spiritual Judge all things. and again the LORD says, do not judge after appearance but judge RIGHTEOUSLY, and who else knows the HEART OF MAN to judge RIGHTEOUSLY than the LORD Himself?

And again JESUS said, YE shall know them by their fruits.
If a man does something in the WILL OF GOD, we will see the fruits that are lasting(that ye may give fruit, and that your fruit may STAY). And we will see Increase in Faith or Fear of GOD, we will see Joy, Peace, and any of the attributes of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
If these things are Absent, then a doubt is to be put.
And i thank GOD that if we are close enough to HIM, it wont take much testing to see this. It will be instant as the Lord wills.
