Since my Source for learning is the Word, I do not fear the Hebrew Roots Movement.

What is truly frightening are the representatives of various denominations under the umbrella title of Christian calling alarm because of the Hebrew Roots Movement but they do not see the damage done globally and historically by many, if not all, of the named Christian denominations.

With the Luther schism alone over 300,000 Swiss and Germans were killed (The Peasants' War), as a result of this schism. We need not mention the crusades, all claiming to be serving Yeshua our Salvation. People have always been all to willing to kill in the name of Jesus than to attract others to Him by their love. Even when before invading other countries declaring to conert them, they leave nothing but death and destruction behind.

If you need a warning, hear our Lord,
Mat 16:6
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

I cant speak for ever in the so called "hebrew roots movement" but I can say every man who wrote the books of the Scriptures is hebrew and trying to understand these writings fully without understanding the "hebrew roots" is like taking a verse out of context.

perfect example is people celebrating Ishtar the goddess of fertility and war and calling it resurrection day... SATANIC.

and the worst part is they dont even care, they make some excuse why its ok to celebrate these bablonian holidays, id they care not about this truth what other truth dont they care about?

ya ya.....blame the reformation and CHRISTIANITY.
then defend Hebrew Roots - which is on record causing people to renounce Jesus and convert to Judaism.
and then quote the leaven of the Pharisees to slander Christianity....when its the HR movement injecting the Pharisees' leaven.

Jack, you are all like: oh i only learn from the Word... i despise isms.
and here you are (not so subtly) defending the HR movement - which is causing an exodus from the faith, people severing themselves from grace..

need proof?

I don't dare comment as it will not be ''on topic of the OP", but I'll only say this is completely incoherent.

YOUR dishonoring of the Sovereign LORD's choice of Koine Greek for the New Testament is satanic.
your disdain and suspicion of it is keeping you under a yoke of fear and superstition.
just another gentile who thinks he has to know a secret name and sound hebrew.

the Kingdom went GLOBAL, dontcha know?
read the GREEK New Testament.

there's NOTHING in scripture that says God is reverting to a lost Plan A.

Ishtar the bablonian goddess of fertility and war is celebrated with eggs and bunnies... I know people from the middle east and this is common knowledge there, yet in the west this demonic day is foolishly called resurrection day, even though the Messiah did not raise on a Sunday. My point is if this matters not to the western world what other truth might they forsake so they may keep their "local" custom and detach the Scripture from its truth to justify their gross misintrepretation of it?

The "LORD" there you go follwing a rabbinical law... and yet those who seek to find truth of the context of the origins of Scripture are called misled...

also how is calling out a satanic bablonian ritual "dishonoring of the Sovereign LORD's choice of Koine Greek for the New Testament"

???

Zone, what if you were correct about the Hebrew Roots and Jack correct regarding the other movements?

I do know the intention here was to highlight that there is many other movements that pose danger.

It is my understanding that some misguided person has accused me of slandering Christianity. The same one who never pays any attention to what is posted when responding.

The Anointed Salvation of mankind, Yeshua, teaches that before He returns, apostasy shall abound. If it does not abound now, I would hate to see what this person thinks it will be like.

Apostasy does abound, and it is only reasonable to quote the Master when He says Mat 16:6
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

I sincerely hope this person does not feel slandered because the Master has declared and taught this.

Also it is obvious that cunning individual has conveniently overlooked the opening declaration in the OP:

The LORD...the LORD...The LORD.....:)

the origins of the context of scripture? LOL....oh yes...its was ALL LOST - but the Sacred Name groups (occultists) FOUND the secrets.

Jesus called God HIS FATHER.

The Holy Spirit sheds the love of the Father in our hearts CAUSING us also to cry out PAPA! Daddy! ABBA, Father.

SLAVES were not allowed to refer to the Master of the House by this name.

ONLY SONS.

so what is His Name for YOU? 4 letters with vowels added? you think this kind of Rabbinic superstition is pleasing to God?

as for the greek NT....you think Hebrew is some favored magic language with God.
my suggestion is....oh...n.m:rolleyes:

hi loveme.
i just re-read the OP 3 times.
there are hundreds of threads on the other movements.

some are for them; some are against them. some defending them - some warning of them.

but Jack likes to continually criticize people for even being AWARE OF THEM (the ISMS), let alone discussing them.

now he's aware of them and speaking about them?
pffft.

and, in defense of the HR movement.
i just re-read the OP again:)

wow...

So one I have nothing against Greek, but Hebrew is called the holy language in Scripture. (lol unless you read the NIV)

Also, no, YHWH's name, (I believed pronounced Yahweh) was never lost, it has been in all the texts of "OT" and even in 1 Corinthinans 1 time. Vowel points were added to the "OT" in attempt to change and cause people to forget Yahweh's Name.

Thing is most dont seem to care one bit what the Father says or wants...

Yeremyah 23:26-27, "How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Yes, they are prophets of the deceit of their own minds; Who devise; plan and scheme, to cause My people to eforget My Name through their dreams, which they tell every man to his neighbor, just as their fathers have forgotten My Name for Baal."

Yeremyah 12:14-17, "This is what Yahweh says against all My evil neighbors who touch the inheritance which I have caused My people Israyl to inherit: Behold, I will pluck them up from off their land, and I will pluck up the house of Yahdah from And it will come to pass, after I have plucked them out, that I will return and have compassion on them, and bring them back; everyone to his heritage and everyone to his land. And it will come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of My people, to vow by My Name, saying; As surely as Yahweh lives--as they once taught My people to vow by Baal; Lord--then they will be established in the midst of My people. But if they do not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, says Yahweh."

Seems to me you dont have a problem with some "hebrew roots movement" you seem to have a problem with the Creator...

It reminds me of 2 things:

1 Samuyl 8:7, "Yahweh answered Samuyl, and said: Listen to all the words the people speak to you, for they have not rejected you; they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them."

And when constantine said "we shaal have nothing to do with the rabble of the Jews," and changed Yahweh's Feast day to a pagan day... He didnt reject the Jews he rejected Yahweh...

Surely there are liars in the "hebrew roots" movement, there are a few I know of first hand, but the in no way means we reject what Yahweh says, problem most today are devoid of proper judgement concerning discernment between Scripture and lies.

Jack said he does not fear the HR movement.

He states that he finds frightening that people will go against the Hebrew Roots while not seeing the damage of other doctrines of men etc..

The rest i can not answer for and only basing this on the op.

i guess it seems like the pot is calling the kettle black.

now we're getting a "history lesson" from the poster who goes on constantly about anything outside the Word being not of God? not worthy of discussion?

is this history lesson in your Bible?

if not, why are you making a thread about it after being all about not doing that?

btw - the leaven of the Pharisees was hypocricy.

If you need a warning, hear our Lord,
Mat 16:6
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
if you need a warning, take a look at this one:rolleyes::

Galatians 2
11But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12For prior to the coming of certain men from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to withdraw and hold himself aloof, fearing the party of the circumcision. 13The rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy

Galatians 2:14
When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?

we could just as easily switch that around:

When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to _____ in front of them all, "You are a Gentile, yet you live like a Jew and not like a Gentile. How is it, then, that you encourage Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?

Hiya zone, i followed your lead an went back to read the op.

who fears it?
it's to be known and resisted.

why doesn't he say THAT?
because he sees no harm in it.

i offered to provide proof that it leads away from Christ.
anyone can find that out.

the fruit of it is self-evident.

He states that he finds frightening that people will go against the Hebrew Roots while not seeing the damage of other doctrines of men etc..
apparently he doesn't read the hundreds of other threa.....wait....he does....because he condemns continually people who call attention to and know about these other movements.

:)

13This testimony is true. For this reason reprove them severely so that they may be sound in the faith, 14not paying attention to Jewish myths and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.

1 Timothy 1:4
Don't let them waste their time in endless discussion of myths and spiritual pedigrees. These things only lead to meaningless speculations, which don't help people live a life of faith in God.

Because the OP has been directly related to the name of God from the Hebrew, YHVH, it is my desire to explain some grammar rules which are applied to the name.

יהוה is the name used in the Hebrew text for what we of the English speaking nations tend to call God. The name's letters transliterated to English could be YHVH or YHWH depending on the individual's accent.

There is nothig mystical about this name; it is taken from the Hebrew infinitive Hayah. It is the gerund form of the verb, that is, it is in the nominative case.

No creature is able to use this gerund in truth for it means "Self Existing," and as all who believe know by faith, nothing is self existing except the Maker of all that is.

Jews have placed some kind of prohibition on using this name when the name of our Father should be renown in all nations. There is nothing wrong with pronouncing the name, for it is all to His glory to proclaim Him.

He is our Father, and it is downright silly to think our Father wants us to forbid mentioning His Holy Name.

It is going to be changed according to the Word come the Kingdom, so what's the beef?
I know He was never called "god" before the pagans were Christianized." Who here knows otherwise? I speak in terms of the Holy Word by which we all should live.

Also, the name is perfectly pronounceable.

I have had several people who seem to be a clique on ignore for some time. Anyone having a "beef" with me has it alone. I will always post what I believe, and if it gets back to those folks, well they will just have to bite the bullet.

Most of the ones in question have not turned and become like children in order to enter the Kingdom of our Father and Salvation, no they have turned and become intellectuals, in my opinion, talking and teaching above their own heads while spouting names of authorities and schools of thought all about the Word, with rarely anything fromt he Word except perhaps some pithy quote taken out of context to suit whatever their worldly teaching may be. Ergo, they are on ignore. They know who they are, yet they bring up the names of others in order to underscore anything they are passing off as authoritative and yet, not from the Word. We all know there is but one authority, Yeshua, our Anointed Salvation, amen.

I have seen people I have on ignore pasted into the responses of others, and sometimes, not always, when I see my name brought up by one of these "ignorees" I may include content in response to blind allegations if I feel it necessay. I believe it is my duty and right when my name is being used.

I consider there is "beef" between yourself and Jack.

May you both forgive and there be peace between you.
