Well, that's just a ridiculous notion.
Wish granted, but love no longer dwells within us. Instead we have to eat butterflies to sustain the feeling.

Granted, but now that everyone knows everything about each other, there is nothing left to learn, and everyone leaves the site.

I wish I could hug someone right now.

Granted. But he's a complete stranger, and he hugs you back for an uncomfortably long time, and he kind of smells like onions.


I wish I could be secretly locked inside a book store for one full night and read all the books I wanted in peace and not be judged for reading kiddie books just for fun.
 
Granted but your life for the entire night becomes that of the never ending story and it's your imagination that will save what they refer to as "Fantasia." I wish for knowledge on why some things are the way they are!
 
Granted, but the answers will be so simplistic in nature that you will become bored with life; no more suspense, imagination, or wonder, just pure boredom.

I wish that elected officials could only keep their jobs as long as their approval ratings stayed 70% or above (remember needing a "C" to pass a class).
 
Granted but corporations control the approval ratings keeping them at a good level for the ones they like.

Granted. But now the currency used for trading is gummy bears, and they melt in everyone's pockets and make a terrible mess in the wash.

I wish someone would write this church newsletter article for me.
 
Granted, but since I would write it based on my church instead of yours, your church members would be really confused and stRt to question if you like to drink in the afternoons alone and maybe partake of some illegal substances. "High on Jesus" would take on a whole different meaning.

I wish that NFL teams respected Sunday as the Lord's Day and only played on the other days of the week.
 
And before someone says anything, I just happened to catch my misspelling of "start" with "stRt." The irony of it with my response is not lost on me.

(Darn CC members! Always keeping me on my toes and pointing out my foibles.) :)
