I believe if you watch you will know the hour. This world is not my home anyway. My hope is in Christ and him only. I believe everything you posted are end time events that should clearly bring us to Christ. However, many need to go get married or have children, they need to bury their father so its hard for them to watch.

Rev 3:3 ...If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

I believe Revelation is our blueprint for the end time.

Interesting thread. If I may point out however the following:
Christ does not "come back" in order for the rapture to happen, He calls us up.
Christ "comes back" when the final battle happens and He kills the ones who come against Him just by speaking and then He lets the beasts and birds eat their flesh and drink their blood.
He wants us to know though the things that will happen to us before He calls us thus the honorable mentions about division and persecution and so forth.
 
I think the reason you look out for the end of days signs is so you can prepare yourself for when the Anti Christ comes. There is a battle before the Messiah returns.

No. It does none of these things. However, on the plus side it doesn't simply disappear when the going gets tough...

Nope i don't want it to happen, but with so much violence and tragedy going on in the world, i can see it happening here soon. Not to say this year or next year. I just can't imagine the violence getting worse than it already is. I live in a small town and in just this year we have had at least 6 robberies (banks and stores) a man beaten so badly he is now on life support for the rest of his life, a man was stabbed 2 days ago, an 83 year old woman had to beat a home invader with her cane, mobile meth labs found in dumpsters....there is too much to list. But my point is if all this is happening in my small town then how much worse do people have it in the larger cities.
 
How small is 'small' for a town? In Australia a small town is a couple hundred to maybe a thousand people. Also, Revelation isn't written in a chronological order. It mentions events that have already happened and had happened long before John penned it. There are events that have happened since it was written and there are many more to still occur. My point is that you can't read Revelation and expect it to be ordered, at least not in the chronological sense. Revelation describes the same revelation John had in four different ways, each from a different focus and perspective and more detail.
 
Okay, that would be a small-to-medium-sized town in Australia. Sorry to hear about all of the crime in your corner of the world. That's really rough.
 
It's rough but not as bad as others have it. I live in one of the quieter neighborhoods of the town. But i keep my girls close and really trust very little people. My church is very much a refuge to me.

It can and will get much worse. Probably worse than we can even imagine. The world was so bad before the Flood that God saw it necessary to kill all flesh. As bad as things seem, we're not even close to that kind of corruption.

Jesus doesn't "rapture the church" before any tribulation.
This is a false teaching that has been debated to death, but is nonetheless false.
Anybody waiting to be evacuated on the secret Jesus-ship is in for a very rude awakening.
When He comes, everybody will see and be very scared.
By that time most, if not all, Christians will have been slaughtered.

No. What I want to happen is for EVERYONE to except Jesus and live for God forever and ever. But, because people reject the idea of taking responsibility for sins and therefore reject God, the disobedient and wicked and workers of iniquity have to be taken out of the world apart from the obedient and lovers of God and thrown into the fire. like the parable of the wheat and the tares. what fellowship hath light with darkness?
