God worked for six days in creating this world. Only when His work was perfect and complete did He rest (see Genesis 2:1-3). Adam and Eve, on the other hand, did not begin by working; they spent their first whole day of life resting on God's Sabbath. Only after they had "entered" into God's rest did they follow it with six days of work. Mankind began by first receiving God's handiwork as an entirely free gift, and only then could humanity enjoy His creation during the rest of the week. The Sabbath Rest

Will we obey God's law after Jesus comes?

Jeremiah
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

The Sabbath is a beautiful gift!!I want it. It's a pleasure, not a burden.

  1. You shall have no other gods before me.
  2. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
  3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God,for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
  5. Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
The 4th one can be altered slightly, I think.

God through man? lol
ahh I don't get you, what I meant was that you don't have to fully follow the 4th commandment, as people need to work, and might have to spread out worship and time to speak to God throughout the week.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Numbers 3:13

Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the Lord.

Matthew 6:9
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowedbe thy name.

All of them, because they are all things that a person doesn't intentionally do if they love other people and God.

Doing them only "because God says to" will only get a person so far.
God wants us to choose them because they respect and protect.

And they extend so deeply that it would be impossible to keep them just because they are rules, if we knew how deep they extended, or if they were recorded in more depth against us.

"you shall not uncaringly let a door close in the face of the person behind you" would be an example, because the "uncaring" part of it is a root of a murderous heart.

You can keep one or the other, it is up to you. But if you were to forget to wash your hands before you eat, you has violated one, and if you violated one, you have violated them all. So you'll be consider endanger of hell's fire. So it is best to follow Christ, because people will make many of mistakes, and Jesus can look over your mistakes, because He knows that we are imperfect.

You do not keep them you are under grace remember hmmm especially the 4th one
I don't think the fact we are under grace not law has a thing to do with keeping the law. It is the people who do not have Christ in their life so they know God and do not have the forgiveness of God available to them who are under law. We, under grace, know that God is the only Holy power that can forgive sins and give us eternal life. It is those who do not know God that think they have complete power in their own lives. When we know God and have faith in all God is, we do our best to live within His Kingdom, and that is another way of saying that we do our best to obey, even the ten commandments. We obey those in spirit and truth, as Jesus told us to.

We want his Kingdom on earth, and we must obey for that. We cleanse ourselves of sin through Christ. We put on Christ and die to self.

We know we violate commandments, that is why we take on Christ within ourselves. Because we have Christ does not make it OK to be sinful.

The 10 Commandments is a set of eternal principles upon which both covenants stand. All of the 10 commandments upon which the Law of Moses was built are repeated in the New Covenant as kingdom principles.

Matthew 15

New International Version (NIV)

That Which Defiles

15 Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked, [SUP]2 [/SUP]“Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don’t wash their hands before they eat!”
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? [SUP]4 [/SUP]For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’[SUP][a][/SUP] and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’[SUP][b][/SUP] [SUP]5 [/SUP]But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’[SUP]6 [/SUP]they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. [SUP]7 [/SUP]You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
[SUP]8 [/SUP]“‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’[SUP][c][/SUP]”

[SUP]10 [/SUP]Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. [SUP]11 [/SUP]What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”
[SUP]13 [/SUP]He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. [SUP]14 [/SUP]Leave them; they are blind guides.[SUP][d][/SUP] If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.”
[SUP]16 [/SUP]“Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. [SUP]17 [/SUP]“Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? [SUP]18 [/SUP]But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. [SUP]19 [/SUP]For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. [SUP]20 [/SUP]These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

I doesn't want to be spending eternally in a place that doesn't has any signs of life at all, just because I had forgot to wash my hands in my formal life. But following what Jesus desiresit might seem at times that it is hard to do, but eventually it will become a natural for me to perform. Beside, it will not be right to condemn those that are missing a syndrome that didn't perform their task properly.

Exodus 21:28
“If a bull gores a man or woman to death, the bull is to be stoned to death, and its meat must not be eaten. But the owner of the bull will not be held responsible.

Leviticus 24:14
“Take the blasphemer outside the camp. All those who heard him are to lay their hands on his head, and the entire assembly is to stone him.

Hosea 4:6
my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

John 9:41
Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.

Luke 23:34
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

And remember, they were basically gambling for His clothing before Him while He was dying, and they didn't care or aware that He was seeing their behavior. That sound as if they didn't had any good common sense.
