Well said! They were not only repeated but explained in God's terms. They were repeated when scripture said love was the basis of all commandments. When we listen well to God, all of the scripture that tell us about Him, we hear truth.
You didn't say God wiped out anything, for God never did. Scripture gives us ways to grow, and we don't have to destroy the old in order to use it for a basis to grow on.

Guess what? There is no commandment of God to wash your hands. Search the OT and you will not find this man made tradition.

It was customary for them to keep themselves physically clean, or you will be considered to be defile. I believe that everyone should become like Jews in order to understand the scriptures. I use to observe the Laws whole heartedly. And in the scriptures it says to not eat or touch anything that isn't kosher, and even anyone or thing that touches anything that came into contact with unclean items. And remember the Jews had live among the Pagans and the ones that didn't kept the laws. Believe me it is hard to keep yourselves from being defile while living among the defile. You have to keep on washing yourself all the time and keeping away from defile, and wait 24 hours until you become clean. Until the Holy Spirit came into the picture, then I understand that the laws were for to preserved the flesh, but not for the spirit.

That mean don't swear; don't cuss; have peachy thoughts all day, every day, about God your Creator.
4. Remember Shabbat to keep it holy.
That means chill-out & rest on Saturdays to remember all the blessed promises of Jesus Christ.
5. Honor your father & mother.
That means don't hate your parents; forgive your parents' shortcoming and learn from your parent's wisdom & mistakes.
6. Don't murder.
That means don't harbor hate; don't be heinous, evil traitor; be void of malice; never be an assassin, a terrorist, a garroter, a cutthroat harlequin because life doesn't not belong to you. Forgive 70 x 7 per day.
7. Don't commit adultery.
That means never, ever go a-whoring neither pimp your soul to the Underworld.
8. Don't steal.
That mean don't be a thief, a Pirate, an embezzler; don't plagiarize; don't skim your taxes; keep your hands to yourself.
9. Don't lie.
That means tell the truth.
10. Don't covet.
That means quit craving for stuff that you cannot afford; stuff that doesn't belong to you, or quit being envious of your neighbor's green pasture.
receive the holy spirit and the law will be fulfilled in you so you can walk the right way that God intended, that's why we actually have to be born again because we do by nature the things contained in the law everysingle one of them and the law is holy and is what judges the entire world so in order to be righteous we must be born again
You have it right on, except you are human. Shame. After you are born again, after you put on Christ, after you determine to follow Christ, there is still weakness in you. You still are given the right, minute by minute, to choose what you do, what you think about, how you live. With all you say, you are almost there, you are blessed, you are helped, but you are not perfect. You must choose your walk.
