[h=3]Isaiah 63[/h]King James Version (KJV)

1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?
3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the eart

I wonder if revelation mentions the same exact thing just a thought

your issue is not understanding revelation.
amatuer:)

just read the NT and relax.
you're ruining the Biblical narrative and making it harder for you to come out of it.

so what?
DO YOU EVER GET AROUND TO THE NT and see what happened/

do you EVER read OT history to see what is fulfilled?
or do you just surf for anything that says My people Israel/Zion/in that day?

shoddy scholarship.

but believe what you want.

bloody dead animals dripping blood too?

or hologram-ish "spiritual" little turtle dove ghost things that don't bleed.
are those the spiritual sacrifices?

outta here.
.

Revelation 19

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

I wonder if Ezekiel has the same lets see or was it fufilled

Ezekiel 39

17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord God.
21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

This is one amature that God has taught to do this

52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

What blasphemous statements???

Jesus is indeed the perfect and ultimate Sacrifice.

And there will indeed be animal sacrifices brought back in and reinstituted during the Millennial Kingdom. It is what the word clearly teaches. And by the way, the animal sacrifices do not add to or take away from the sacrifice which Jesus Christ gave on the Cross of Calvary.

Re-institution of animal sacrifices in a so-called future millennium kingdom suggests that Christ's sacrifice is insufficient, which is blasphemy.

You obviously don’t believe the bible.

well EG...its a little hard to sort out what you're saying, since you scoff at Christ being King now.
which means He is not Priest now either.

Thats not true (Saying it softly) And you know it.

We are talking what the OT said about the messiah vs what the OT said about the suffering servant. Why you have no desire to discuss this is beyond me.

Why did the OT say the messiah would never die. But the suffering servant would?
Why did the OT say the messiah would crush all nations. Kill the kings of the world, and rule with an iron rod. and ALL nations will serve him, yet the suffering servant would have no kingdom, be looked down on, Not be served by anyone, yet he himself serve everyone.

these are just two of the questions i posed to you, yet you did not answer a one of them. and all you want to do is claim I believe things I don't

if you do not wish to discuss these things, just say so.

so, you say you (today) can see him having come as the suffering servant AND messiah..but the Bible didn't predict it?
or God blinded everybody to trick satan.

No I did not say this, Yet once again you bear false witness, and show you do not understand what U am saying. Is it because you do not want to. Or are you really unsure? It has been so long I will be honest, I am beginning to wonder,

but you don't explain how the Jewish remnant church was born and launched out.

What does this have to do with what I said?

anyway, your theory can't hold up because it's faulty....so, you sort it out.
it's a MESS.

You know you keep saying this. But continue to prove you do not understand what I am saying.

It is not my theory that is a mess, it is your understanding of what I believe.

now do you wish to discuss it. or continue to attack, say I believe things I do not. And continue to mock that which you do not understand?

Zone, you simply do not understand the nature of the Law which will be brought in and implemented during the 1,000 year Reign of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

God sets up things as He will. It's His Kingdom. And we are to believe what His word clearly teaches.

What you falsely assume is that the animal sacrifices that will be brought back in during the Millennial Kingdom somehow add to or take away from the ultimate Sacrifice which Jesus Christ our Lord gave on the Cross of Calvary.

But they do not. The Millennial Reign on Earth will be a new Dispensation where a New System and Code will be in operation. And Jesus Christ our Lord will be the Head of it.

Study your Bible Zone. First of all, make sure you have a King James Bible. And then study those passages of Scripture which I posted in my previous response to you.

Read about the Temple and Alter that will be built during the Millennial Kingdom. Read the clear instructions that are given specifically in Ezekiel 44:1-46:24 during the Millennial System of Sacrifice and also of the priesthood. There will indeed be a sacrificial system instituted during the Millennial Kingdom.

hey there Yahshua
before i forget.
you were going to address the day = 1,000 year principle.
i know we covered Adam's death.
did you post any more on that? because i apologize for missing it.
if you did, i can go back and find it easily enough.

also, i think we were discussing Times & Laws being changed...it was about the hebrew calendar i believe.

you said this was fulfilled (which i agree with)...but if you posted on WHEN it was fulfilled, i'm sorry - i missed that too.
i do apologize.

Daniel 7
He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.

if you did write on this, i can go back and find it by searching your posts in this thread (was it in this thread)?

zone

NP, Zone. Yeah it can be found here http://christianchat.com/bible-disc...teral-thousand-year-reign-12.html#post1293991 I realized it's pretty difficult to hold multiple conversations, plus my post was pretty long, so I wasn't going to press for a reply. It may at least clarify my unique position on a few things explained below...

what does this passage say about David's Throne and who is on it (if anyone)?
.......

what does that mean?
does that mean Jesus was seated on David's Throne, having received ALL authority upon His resurrection and Ascension?

what does the bible say about that?

yes or no?

Christ indeed received his throne; the throne of David, and is king. HE is in his kingdom, the apostles were in his kingdom too...but we are not. The apostles and early disciples entered into Christ’s kingdom after Pentecost, but then the kingdom breached, those disciples died, and the kingdom was taken over. This is the basic order:

1. Christ is glorified and worthy to receive his kingdom (through crucifixion)

2. Christ ascends to heaven and receives that kingdom. This is represented by the little scroll sealed with 7 seals that no one could open but him (in Revelation 5). This also matches Daniel’s vision of the son of man ascending to receive his dominion.

3. Christ sends the gift of the Holy Spirit to the disciples and they begin spreading Christ’s kingdom on earth.

4. Meanwhile, satan is cast down to earth (Revelation 12), and because his time is short he tries to swallow up (i.e. seduce) that “woman” (i.e. Christ’s kingdom) and kills the remnant of her seed (those apostles & disciples also in his kingdom). Christ’s kingdom then breaches and is taken over. This is the falling away of 2 Thessalonians 2; this is the Great Harlot of Revelation 17; this is the Great Tribulation of Matthew 24; this is the 40-jubilee trial of faith (to endure and resist this dark world - in faith - until Christ returns).

5. Meanwhile meanwhile, Christ begins opening the seals in heaven. And from the time of the first seal to the last trumpet (within the last seal), this is the process that changes these kingdoms of this world INTO *his* kingdom. This is what we’re currently in the middle of. And until this process finishes Christ doesn’t return. But once we see the Elijah ministry, that will be the sign of Christ’s impending return...because Elijah must ALWAYS preceded Christ because scripture can't be broken.

6. Then when Christ returns on a Day of Trumpets (the 1st day of a 7th biblical month), the angels will say, “The kingdoms of the world HAVE BECOME the kingdom of our Lord and his Christ” (Rev 11:15).

i really just want someone to explain using the scriptures, what the Millennium IS FOR.

what is it FOR?

like really. just think about it for a minute. is it for a second chance?
is it for a slow refurbishing of the earth?
is it so blind Israel gets reincarnated so they can reign?
is it so Jesus can sit in another temple (when He told John already - there will be NO MORE TEMPLES)?
is it so David can rule from a gold covered throne in Jerusalem in the State of Israel?
is it for sacrificing animals?

what...is ....it...FOR?

concerning national Israel...

No, it's not for national Israel. It's so everyone can finally have a (first) chance to know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth WITHOUT DECEPTION...to finally be in a position to make their choice (because God is merciful and loves the world). This is why satan is bound for that time frame, so he can't deceive while the children of God instruct the nations in the way of Yah. Until then they can't be held accountable for their ignorance.

Romans 8
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to vanity [worthlessness], not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

In other words, the current condition of the world is a "wash" for them until the children of God are tried & purified by fire and manifested in their glory (i.e. Christ's kingdom)...then they will teach the nations the truth.

To be perfectly honest - as evident by the various interpretations even on this thread alone - we don't have the FULL truth, but God is a spirit and must be worshiped in the truth. And if we "followers" (on the whole) don't have full understanding ourselves, how can the nations really be held accountable to God when *WE* were meant to teach THEM? "But if the blind lead the blind, both will fall in a ditch." This is what the millennium is for. To teach the nations the truth about God. Then AFTER that time satan *must* be loosed for a short time to try to tempt & deceive the nations and prove whether they'll live in the truth or yield to satan.

Everyone MUST prove their faith: Israel had to (for 40 years), Christ had to (for 40 days), we have to (for 40 jubilees)...and the nations must also once they have the truth.

I'm just popping into this thread to see who's winning.

We have a winner yet?
Maybe Zone wants to arm wrestle?

: )

ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN?

(6) Mighty Babylon, 196 miles square, was enclosed not only by a moat, but also by a double wall 330 feet high, each part 90 feet thick. It was said by unanimous popular opinion to be indestructible, yet two Bible prophets declared its doom. These prophets further claimed that the ruins would be avoided by travelers, that the city would never again be inhabited, and that its stones would not even be moved for use as building material (Isaiah 13:17-22 and Jeremiah 51:26, 43). Their description is, in fact, the well-documented history of the famous citadel.

Fulfilled Prophecy: Evidence for the Reliability of the Bible
Reasons To Believe : Fulfilled Prophecy: Evidence for the Reliability of the Bible

So what about mystery Babylon in the book of Revelations?

If the 1,000 year reign on earth is not literal - When did Jesus rule with an "rod of iron"/"iron sceptor"? If it is not literal then the only people available for Christ to rule with a rod of iron would be saved believers in the Eternal/Everlasting Kingdom. I don't think being ruled with an iron sceptor is the way most Christians envision everlasting life.

Rev. 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God and to his throne. This has NOT happened.

John 12:31-32 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

The reason for all the confusion is that 2 Tim.2.15 has not been utilized; "--rightly dividing the word of truth--". It has to be considered that God only hid his wisdom from those who rely on their human ability to deciipher, not those who "studied to show themselves approved of God". I have been accused of stacking scripture to make them say what I wanted, so I will state before hand, that if that is the way the Holy Spirit reveals his hidden wisdom to the "not many wise", then it is him that is being insulted.

Heb.8.27 "it is appointed unto men once to die, and after that the judgment". Heb.2.8 "--but we see Jesus- that by the grace fof God shoud taste death for EVERY man". John 9.39 "for JUDGMENT I am come into the world, that they which see not might see, and that they which see might be made blind"; Dan.7.26 "but the judgement shall sit, to take away his dominion to consume and destroy unto the end". John 12.48 "--the word that I have spoken, the SAME shall judge him in the last day"; Hab.2.3 "for the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie--"; John.12.31 "Now is the judgment of his world, now shall the prince of this world be cast out".

I'd say you are doing quite will in the above mentioned controversy. Ps.84.7 "They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before the Lord"; Strength upon strength to you my friend.

And if Christ's Millenial reign on the earth is not literal, when did this happen...

Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
Zec 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Everyone keeping the Feast of Tabernacles today are they? How about this...

Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

All flesh worshipping the Eternal on the New Moons and Sabbaths these days?

How about this...

Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Isa 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Somebody ought to let Syria in on that.

Isa 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
Isa 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
Isa 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
Isa 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Are the poor being judged with righteousness these days?

Isa 11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Anybody show me where the nature of wild animals has been changed?

question (friendly:)):

who are the 144,000

Zone, concerning the 144000(friendly also); 2 Sam.24.1 and 1 Chron.21.1-7 shows that numbering Israel is the result of God's anger. Ex.30.12 shows Israel was only numbered to offer a ransom so that there be no plague among them, which now the Lamb of God is the eternal ransom.

Rev.15.3 says the song of Moses will be sang again with the song of the Lamb(Deut.31.19/32.1-44), and Deut.32.8 says "When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he seperated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel". Rev.14.3 "and they sang AS THOUGH it were a new song, and no man could lean that song but the 144000 redeemed from the earth".

The fact that numbering Israel is the result of God's anger, the 144000 redeemed from the earth could not be a physical number, because redeemed denies God's anger, right? . So it would represent all those who learned the song of Moses, which would indicate the prophesied unity with God's eternal people(Hos.1.10-11). Does anyone know the song of Moses? If it is to be sang again WITH the song of the Lamb, then we will have to learn it - AS THOUGH it were a new song, right?

You obviously don’t believe the bible.

No it does not suggest that starfield. Not at all.

Again, the Animal Sacrifices in the Millennial Kingdom do not do not at all violate the New Testament teachings such as Hebrews 10, concerning the end of the Mosaic Law with the death of Messiah. They do not add nor take away from the Sacrifice which Jesus Christ gave on the Cross of Calvary.

Again read these Scriptures: (Ezek. 43:18-27, 44:11-15, 44:27-31, 45:15-25; 46:4-15; 46:20-24, Isa. 56:6-8).

They all teach that there will be animal sacrifices reinstituted in the Millennial Kingdom.

And after reading them, if you still reject the fact that there will be animal sacrifices in the Millennial Kingdom, well then you obviously don't believe the Bible.

UMMM Chosen,

Why would God even choose to have animals sacrifices and burnt offerings when even in the Old Testament it is quite clear God DOES NOT desire them? Even in the Old testament we are pointed to His desires which are knowledge of Him,enduring love, obedience,a broken spirit,a contrite heart and MERCY.

The blindfold needs to come off.

Starfiled, what you need to do is start studying your Bible more and Believe it. You need to be Dispensational and rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

But if you continue to refuse to rightly divide the word of truth, well then you will continue to be messed up Doctrinally just as you already are.

Well Sarah, I am not exactly sure. I do believe that the Animal Sacrifices and the priesthood that is in operation during the Millennial Kingdom do and will serve a purpose.

And all I do know is that I simply believe the text of the Holy Bible. Ezekiel gives a lot of detail about the system of Sacrifice and Priesthood in the Millennial Kingdom. Therefore I just believe what God's word, the King James Holy Bible says and teaches.

I would have to ask if you know the purpose of animal sacrifices? They NEVER were a substitute for the Perfect Sacrifice...

Heb 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Heb 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

They were the schoolmaster, the instructor that foreshadowed the sacrifice of Christ. They were the shadow or type.

And yes, if you read Ezek 40 - 48, you will find that sacrifices will be performed in the Millenium. Those people will need a schoolmaster also.
