Hello, everyone!

Sin is an act of rebellion against God, correct? Rebelling against God would be something that we do on purpose.
I think people come out homosexual mostly because of their genetics, rather than environmental factors.

If this is the case, then they were simply born homosexual, and they wouldn't be rebelling against God, because they didn't choose to become homosexual, they were simply born that way, and thus, it wasn't in their control.

If they were born gay, then they wouldn't be committing a sin because that's just how they are. I'd say that homosexuality itself isn't a sin.

Now, even if homosexuality wouldn't be a sin, it would cause sin to flourish. It discourages God's intended law of the man and woman being meant to be together.

Lets look at anger. Anger itself isn't a sin, but it can cause sin to flourish when the one who is angry starts beating people up.

well brother I am not condemning but pointing out reality God condemns sin but redeems the sinner if the sinner confesses in true repentance a true repentance is to change and not regress from sin prusumtuosly now the sinner is encouraged to keep trying till he bears fruit then Christ said if the person does so he will be saved the point here is God hates the sin but loves the sinner to bring himnrepentance grace is the gift without being deserving but his truth will sanctify . we are required effort on our part remember faith without works is dead but first we must confess accept and be baptized for without Christ we are nothing ..
No problem, I just know and see this as true:

Does God accept what?

I am compelled to post scripture, but it probably won't make a difference.
[h=3]Ephesians 1:1-13[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: [SUP]2 [/SUP]grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: [SUP]4 [/SUP]according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: [SUP]5 [/SUP]having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, [SUP]6 [/SUP]to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. [SUP]7[/SUP]in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; [SUP]8 [/SUP]wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; [SUP]9 [/SUP]having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: [SUP]10 [/SUP]that in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: [SUP]11 [/SUP]in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: [SUP]12 [/SUP]that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. [SUP]13 [/SUP]in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Let;s just suppose, you put a human brain into an elephant, chances are it's future generations will have same-gender intimacies. If you put an elephant brain into a human's head, guess what will happen?

I've heard it said that if you can't explain something then you don't actually understand it. I have actually put quite a bit of study into scripture, but I've found that virtually all Christians simply pick and choose what we want from the Bible and what we want to ignore.
All unrighteousness is sin but all can be forgiven if one repents wholeheartedly and adhere to life in the spirit that is where it matters

"Does God accept homosexuality?"

The truth is nobody knows if God accepts homosexuality or not.

I know that the Bible does NOT accept homosexuality, neither does the Quran.

These books claim to speak for God, it is up to us to accept or reject that claim.

How you respond to the claim alters your belief about what God thinks of homosexuality.

Regardless, society must continue to live together and decide what is acceptable behavior.

The real question is, Do YOU accept homosexuality? Why or why not? Can you justify your reasons?

The real question is, Do YOU accept homosexuality?
“…. that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in UsI in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one

When you say “YOU” to a child of God you need to understand that a child of God is “…one in [the Father and the Son].” Christ is in the child and the Father is in Christ "that they may be made perfect in one." The child of God is inseparable from the Father and the Son and so are their views about homosexuality because the Father, the Son and the child of God are one. And of course you already know those views because they are in your bible. So what you really want to know when you say “YOU” is the opinions of those who are not the children of God with regards to homosexuality.

[h=3]Romans 14:14-23[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]14 [/SUP]I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. [SUP]15 [/SUP]But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Let not then your good be evil spoken of: [SUP]17 [/SUP]for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. [SUP]18 [/SUP]For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. [SUP]20 [/SUP]For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. [SUP]21 [/SUP]It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. [SUP]23 [/SUP]And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Does the written word about the problem being food at that time go any deeper at all?

Lets see what the Apostle Peter wrote about homosexuality

Second Peter Chapter 2
(Peter is an apostle of Jesus and he wrote this)
Peter foretells of false teachers, false christians and how to deal with them

ORIGINAL LANGUAGE ARAMAIC LETTER OF PAUL direct to English
You can use king James, its the same word.

1 But false prophets were also among the people,
as also false teachers will be among you,
who will secretly bring in destructive heresies,
and denying the master
who has bought them,
bringing swift destruction on themselves.

2 And many will follow their destructive ways,
by whom the way of truth ("Thy word is truth")
will be evil spoken of.

3 And by covetousness (avarice, fraudulency, extortion(purgatory), covetous practices, greediness, for the money)
with well-turned words, (fictitious, artificial, lies 2 Tim 4:3 lying teachers, having itching ears;)
they will use you for gain, (buy and sell you, profit, tithe, offerings)
for whom judgment (false religion, false teachings)
from the very beginning
has not ceased,
and their destruction
is always active. (always apostatizing)

4 For if Elohim did not spare sinning cherubs,
but delivered them to chains of darkness,
thrust down into Tartarus, (eternal grave)
having been kept to judgment (day);

5 and did not spare the ancient world,
but preserved Noah the eighth, (Peter says the flood really happened)
a herald of righteousness,
bringing a flood on a world of wicked ones;

6 and covering the cities
of Sodom and Gomorrah (really happened says Peter)
with ashes,
He condemned them with an overthrow,
setting an example
to men intending to live unholy lives.
from which the godly shall be delivered,
as Lot was out of Sodom

7 And also delivered righteous Lot, (law keeping, innocent, holy, righteous)
who was tormented (harassed and oppressed)
with the filthy conduct (behavior)
of the comandment-less (criminals);

8 For that righteous one
living among them day after day,
in seeing and in hearing,
his righteous (commandment keeping) soul
was tormented (pained)
with their lawless deeds.

9 But YAHWEH knows
to rescue the righteous (commandment-keepers)
out of temptation, (solicitors of perversion)
and to keep the unjust (treacherous heathen commandment breakers)
to be punished at the judgment day,

and more fully describes
The manners of those profane (carnal passions of fleshly lusts).
and blasphemous seducers, (daring, audacious, forbidden sexual desires, lusts, homosexual)
whereby they may be the better known,
and avoid their experience [of evil], solicitations and provocations);

Temptations are PROVOCATIONS - I always thought they were things you wanted to do that were wrong but they are the snide comments provokings lies and evil speakings to get you to loose your temper. Learn something new every day...)

10 and especially will he punish those
who follow after the filthy lusts of the flesh, (daring, audacious, forbidden sexual desires, lusts, homosexual)
and have no respect for worship of God our authority (dignity, glory (-ious), honour, praise, worship)
Self willed and arrogant (self-pleasing, arrogant, self-willed)
they are and they do not tremble (to "dread", "tremble" or fear God)
when they blaspheme; [Rom 13:3]; (mock God)

11 where cherubs being greater in strength and power
do not bring against them the condemnation of blaspheming.

12 But these men, like the dumb beasts,
which by nature are for slaughter and destruction,
speak evil of the things that they do not understand,
and will utterly perish in their own corruption;

13 being about to receive
the wages of unrighteousness, (commandment breaking)
as they consider it a delightful thing
to revel in the daytime. (Be effeminate, in luxury and debauchery)
They are spots (defective)
and blemishes among you,(disgraceful)
and sport themselves (partying)
with their own pleasures (delusions and deceits)
feasting along with you (entertaining sumptuously, being idle, reveling)
in idleness,

14 having eyes full of adultery, (Second marriages, divorced remarrying Luke 16:18)
and never ceasing from sin; (commandment breaking)
seducing unsettled souls; (unstudied christians)
having a heart being filled
with covetousness; (Money love, avarice, fraudulency, extortion, greediness. wrong income)
they are cursed children;

15 Who have forsaken the straight path, (true path)
and have gone astray, (deceived, err, seduced, wandered, be out of the way of the Bible)
following the way of Balaam (Meaning: false teachers)
the son of Beor, (and pagan fathers)
who loved the wages of unrighteousness, (sin profits)

16 but who was rebuked for his own transgression, (commandment-breaking)
the dumb donkey speaking in a man's voice held back the folly of the prophet.

17 These are springs without water,
clouds being driven by a storm,
for whom the blackness of darkness (soon to non-exist)
has been kept forever.

18 For, while they speak astonishing words of vanity, (insolent, bulging depravety)
they seduce, (Delude, beguile, entice)
with obscene lusts of the flesh, (lusts=sexuality, obscene lusts=perverted sex)
them who have almost abandoned these, (those Converted from perversions)
that walk in error, (trying to draw them back).

19 while promising to them freedom, (legitimate sexuality)
though themselves being slaves of corruption; (decay)
for a man is overcome, (Vanquished, lost) (no once saved always saved by Peter)
by whatever it is that enslaves him. (servant of commandment-breaking sin)

20 For if, when they have escaped
the pollutions of the world ( ("miasma"), foulness )
by the knowledge of our Master and Redeemer,
Yahshua (Jesus) the Messiah, (Annointed savior king)
they become again entangled (entwined)
in the very same things
and are overcome by them,
their latter end is worse with them (more evil or aggravated, sorer, worse)
than the beginning . *

21 For it was better for them
not to have known the way of righteousness (commanmdments)
than having recognized it
to turn from the holy commandment (Ten commandments)
delivered to them.

22 But the word of the true proverb
has happened to them:
"The dog returns to his own vomit; (disgorged food)
also, the sow that was washed,
to wallowing in the mud." (rolling and enjoying in the mud)

This was written dozens of years after Jesus went to heaven

What did we learn?
1. No once saved always saved
2. Perverted money making pastors will endorse perverted sexuality
3. Keep the commandments is the key of truth.
There is a judgment day coming for all the ones rejecting repentance.

If they were born gay, then they wouldn't be committing a sin because that's just how they are. I'd say that homosexuality itself isn't a sin.

That makes sense.. So many people today seem think that if they feel something is right, it is right, regardless of what's written. But of course, God's no's are no. We can justify anything by saying its natural for me, or I was born that way, e.g; I'm a thief because I'm a kleptomaniac, so its not my fault because I can't help myself. But I doubt excuses like that will fly come judgement day?

Just curious, if the bible said that 'man shall not lie with women' because it was an abomination before God, how many heterosexuals would follow that command?

Good point, and the argument would be that is nearly an impossible command due to our sexual desire and need to propagate our species. In truth, if the bible had said that then that religion would not have survived due to obvious problems with reproduction. Just stating the obvious, the bible doesn't say that because it would have been counter-productive for the people at that time. You could say that homosexuality was condemned because it was counter-productive to reproduction and survival of Israel at that time.

Good point, and it is also true for today. I'll explain.

It is counter productive to plant a seed where it won't grow. When newborns are brought into the kingdom of God, the seed planted is the Word, and the church is the female part that conceives the baby. If the seed is planted somewhere else, other than the proper place there is no propagation. Keep in mind that marriage is likened unto Christ and the church.

Homosexuality then becomes an abomination because it doesn't match the divine plan of Christ and His bride being the correct spiritual gender. Put the Word of God back into itself, and it has no effect without the bride being involved. Put two churches together without the seed of the Word, and they both are barren, having no generations to continue. This is a parable of sorts.

Ephesians 5:21-23 (KJV)
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Ephesians 5:31-33 (KJV)
[SUP]31 [/SUP]For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
[SUP]32 [/SUP]This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
[SUP]33 [/SUP]Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Ok I concede your point that homosexuality is counter-productive to the christian church in that it does not fit the accepted roles and thus violates the spiritual roles we as a church have with Christ.
However, it avoids the bigger issue. Is homosexuality a sexual perversion? or part of human nature?
Either way it can be deemed unacceptable and incompatible with the christian church but what about society in general?
In general should things deemed not acceptable by God be legislated against in a secular society?
Sorry I dont mean to get into politics here but want to address that this issues been around and fact that christians still are asking if "God accepts homosexuality" is bewildering to me. It is quite clear that the bible prohibits homosexual behavior and is seen as sin in eyes of God. Yet due to social pressures and the politics of it, they question it because of human decency. My argument is dont try to legislate it, it is wrong for the church but not wrong for a secular society as a whole.

From the studying that I have done in the Bible, I present that anything added to, or subtracted from the original creation is sin. Now to be compassionate to the homosexuals, all that I have ever read or heard about it can be classified as a learned practice that involves the environment of these people when they were children, for the most part, but not all. It can be learned from those who want it. Therefore I conclude that people aren't conceived with that instinct, or persuasion. Keep in mind that children who are still not born are learning for the entire nine months that their mother carries them, and are also influenced by the attitude of their father if he is even around to love them during that nine months.

As far as politics are concerned, Israel's leaders demanded the will of God when the nation was right in the sight of God. The Roman Empire allowed homosexuality, and this corruption grew. Sodom and Gomorah's corruption was homosexual for the most part. Men wanted sex with angles in the form of men. If a nation wants to last, the Bible tells them how to legislate. If the laws of man do not correlate with God's law, the nation will be judged. Israel is a very good example, and we can read over and over in history about corruption in nation after nation even if they made laws against homosexuality, for that is a very small part of the big picture. Sad but true, I have determined, that some, if not most professing Christians today want to separate religion from legislation. How sad, and now we see secularism in just about every community in our country. I present this scripture.

Hebrews 2:1-4 (KJV)

[SUP]1 [/SUP]Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
[SUP]3 [/SUP]How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
[SUP]4 [/SUP]God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Hebrews 4:1-6 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

Like I said, adding and subtracting from a perfect creation is sin.

Why don’t you try expressing what’s on your mind regarding this subject without plastering these copy and pasted massive amounts of scripture? Imagine opening up your bible and the only thing you see in the New Testament is 95% quoted scripture from the Old Testament.

Okay, plain and simple God just love you, And god is not counting sins against you or anyone today.
Rather God has poured out Mercy to us all. So it is up to each person their choice as to believe God, thank God and trust God or not
Simple enough?

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
