Not picking a side just a thought... GreenNnice you are my buddy... Just not seeing the numbers as relevant to it being God's teachings
Groups that many say are cults like JW have pastors so to me saying the churches have this many ministers and pastors doesn't say that they are called by God. However my statement defeats itself because it also doesn't say they aren't...
Just not sure saying a pastor does says it proves it's God's will

Does that make sense or am I not reading the posts correctly?
Who has called the women pastors to all those churches in those different denominations in the graphs, alexHis

I believe, the Holy Spirit leads men AND women in life, to be pastors ,evangelists, apostles, teachers, just as Ephesians 4 says, just as Ang mentions in her post with excellent 'Greek' meaning in its 'authentein' (word for 'authority' used once in Scripture, in 1 Tim. 2:12, while Paul uses 'exousia' and 'hipeiko' many times for 'authority' English word) meaning

It's good to let the Spirit lead you in this matter, the Lord leads, like I told you AlexHis, and, if I haven't told you, this is spiritual warfare and there are many who will CHOOSE to discredit all the women God's called to seminary who now have masters degrees, even, doctorates, and, teach men and women in churches.

Listen to folks' horrible, mean, debasing, unloving talk about denominations I put in the graph. Did you read Daniel's post, the guy who says 'hmmm' all the time, that guy . But, yeah, this is NOT a salvation issue but it's certainly hits on a lot of hot buttons. And, I am for the warm embrace of Christ who CALLS women to pastor churches, milady. I support God's call of ALL the women who are NOW a pastor in a church in the USA and around the word, fulfilling the CALL of God on her life .

Yes, AlexHis, there are thousands of women pastors in the USA and this is God's will, I believe, I cannot be against that kind of thing, for I do not know God's thoughts nor God's ways of using women as pastors and not just as laywomen in the church who are to be quiet and learn in full submission as 1 Tim. 2:11 teaches, and, 2:12 of the common woman :)

Hopefully, this makes sense, this bible forum is a place to pray for God's peace in your heart, in here, it's quite a place, there is much debate of doctrine, just as this women as pastors issue is. And, if you do not guard your heart by asking for Him to do, then, you can get caught up in bitterness, which roots anger, which roots sin, which roots death :(

I am not trying to say much to you on this topic, but will comment now, because your mind is young and the Lord is teaching you things, even, through me, of the triune nature of God. But, this is something that has much opposition and so I try to be as shrewd as a snake but as harmless as a dove, per words of Scripture, to oleherm, and, imperfectperfection, etc. on here who say women's role is NEVER as that of pastor because of what they think Scripture is saying as Truth to them.

Go with your heart, folllow your heart, and, the only way you can do that, young lady is to seek Him with all your heart.

James 1

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. 13When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death

All those in the graph I posted are "(God's church (the Body of Christ)" as you put it, cobe :)
Says who Greenie? You or God? I will give them recognition if God does, he did not YET! Maybe they will repent from the false to the Truth, but they did not yet. You know God's Body is perfect do you not?

Very awesome!
You always take time and show so much love and caring in responses to me...

I know Jesus tells me to share my love for Him. I also know He wants me to share my love and His lessons with my little brothers. I know that's not church leading or preaching. That's not what I'm saying. But if I don't do it they will be like me and not hear God's word from The Bible until they read it on their own.

Thank you again for so much caring and love.
Love,

In the UK, 70% of divorces are initiated by women. The massive rise of homosexuality is commensurate with the massive rise of single parent families and maritally dysfunctional families where women are often dominant.

Women need to be aware of their limitations.

Interesting how a lot of people here are economists and data scientists who are able to find correlations and perform regressive analysis on a closed set of data, corresponding to an unnamed variable list.

I wonder what they would have to say, when they knew that many atheist worldly sections of the world have shown correlations between drop in crime rates and abortions. (One of these books became a NY bestseller)

Oh yeah so women are the cause of evil. They are limited and incapable of anything.

Oh and if anyone wants to tell me about rebellion against authority etc. Please save it. I have a Bible and I am reading it. And I believe in it.
God is everything to me, and all I want to do is honour and please him. So it says submit to one another in reverence for Christ, and submit to authorities cool.

This is about women preachers. I will let God tell me who to listen to and who not to. Please don't mind me interrupting misogynist frames of thoughts. I was just looking in. I am out. God bless ya peepz in Christ. Even those who persecute women. Because that's what God said we should do‏ :)

Haters gonna hate.

So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,“Cursed are you above all livestock
and all wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly
and you will eat dust
all the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring[a] and hers;
he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel.

Lexi always ask Scripture to prove a point. And believe me there is MANY contradicting statements in the Bible, if a person does not understand the process of God. My dear if the Bible says one place that women should be silent in church, then He has to say another place that woman may speak in church if this or that happened. But the Bible only says they are not allowed to speak in church. That one unfortunatley has no contradictions.

But for your interest I will show you one in 1 John 1 and 1 John 3....
1 John 1 says... If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

And 1 John 3 says... Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Now this seems VERY contradictory does it not... but it is not really, if you read the Scriptures and you understand that God starts off with a sinner and end up with a Jesus Alike person, then we know BOTH is true for the different steps in salvation.

God does not call righteous people, he calls sinners to righteousness.... He starts with a sinner and ends with a Jesus recreated man. My dear daughter in Christ always feel free to ask me my opinion if you are troubled by the false teachers. I will give you my pinion, and the Scripture that formed my opinion. Everything I say I can prove in Scripture, if I cannot with just the scripture and no explaination, then I am also a false teacher.... This is how you know false teachers from the Truth teachers... the false teachers always has to EDIT the Word of God. They cannot copy and paste it. They have to go to Greek and Hebrew what they know nothing of, and twist the meaning to fit their false doctrines....

I am here now a few years and NONE of them could prove me wrong with Scripture, NONE! The Truth is this... God demanded this, and He will make sure HIS CHILDREN will OBEY this... It is HIS Job to get us perfect, not ours... but He DOES MAKE US PERFECT HERE ON EARTH....

Mat 5:48.... Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

That makes perfect sense... I understand both points made.

It makes senes the scripture you shared we are in sin and the through Jesus we are born again dead to sin. I see how that is the message of that scripture. I also see how at first glance it appears contradictory but in fact is not.

Also I have connected what you are saying to this thread.

God bless you for taking the time to share this and explain this to me.
Love you,

mystdancer50 are you a spiritual person? Paul says if you are you will know, YOU WILL KNOW this is God's will that women to not preach in church.

Can I bear children if I am in Christs Body (the church)? Can a woman preach when she is in Chrsit Body (the church)? Nope even if we have equel spiritual holiness the offices is STILL FOR MEN... Wman in the Body of Christ should show there GODLYNESS with this...

But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

Please do not get confused, works and words are two different things....

It is clear. I CANNOT take the plae of Jesus in the Body and a woman cannot take the place of a man in the Body. Jesus makes the order VERY clear in this Scripture... For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

For I am the glory of Jesus, and my wife is MY GLORY, I can NEVER be her glory. I am the head of her, as Jesus is the head of me. If you say she and I are equal in the head-state, then why am I and Jesus nevr equal in the head-state? Can Jesus be my glory, or will I always be HIS? Then the wife can also NEVER be the glory of the man.... NEVER. Now that should be enough to reproof the ignorant, hard necked and stubborn generation and gender.

I love my wife as Jesus loves me, there is no stronger and purer love. But she is an angel so she would never want to be in my place as PRIEST OF THE HOUSE AND IN CHURCH the head of her family, that is why she covers her head when we pray and worship..... RESPECTING MY POSITION GOD APPOINTED ME TOO!!!!! GOD APPOINTED ME NO MAN AND NO WOMAN OR INSTITUTION.
Cobus, please remember this part next time you try to say nobody is saved until Jesus takes over their body:

" I CANNOT take the plae of Jesus in the Body and a woman cannot take the place of a man in the Body"

you've been corrected on this ten thousand times - you just refuse to accept it.
the word PERFECT is COMPLETE; MATURE; WHOLE; lacking nothing in moral character; etc

but if you claim to be without sin, you're deceiving Lexi.
if you are claiming any person arrives at a sinless state LIKE JESUS, you are deceiving Lexi.
stop it, Cobus...this is a set-up for delusion.

the women in this thread, aside from alexis and i think 1 other 1 in here, they sound like todays homosexuals.
The women sound like todays [sic] homosexuals?

but WHEN did the term fellatio get substituted out for "oral sex"? somebody who had the opinion that it is sex had to rename it. isnt the original term for it fellatio? that doesnt have the word sex anywhere in it.

so when did fellatio get named oral sex?

honestly, though i agree with the Bible (and my church) that women are not to be pastors; deacons or teachers in church...and (though this is not practiced in my church for the most part)...that women are to cover their heads...i don't know what certain fellows are even doing on an internet forum where women speak:rolleyes:

surely there are men-only forums somewhere?

ha?
you have a comprehension problem?
'parently.
I learned in 1984, when I left the CofE, that women in authority in churches had nothing but contempt and contumely for any men who did not own their authority. I am not sure how such women think they are going to get to heaven.

Zonie I claim nothing but the Word of God. And thank you for expanding on the word perfect. It indeed is COMPLETE, that means God does not have to do another thing, He has taken you to where HE wants you, and it is NOT SAINTSHIP (which is already without sin). MATURE indeed, mature to what standard? God says to this: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
So I agree 100% with you and to combine all these words together, Let us just call it PERFECT!

WHOLE, whole is fulness, fulness of the stature and measure of Christ Himself. Zonie Chrsit jesus is the MEASURE of maturity and wholeness and completion. God says He does not make us ANYHTING less that Chrsit Jesus as MAN! God says that the NEW CREATURE is ALL NEW. Zonie I have proven 100's of times that God does not save halfheartedly. He saves COMPLETELY, and you agree... COMPLETE! MATURE and WHOLE. Now start believing what you just said in this post. God truly does make us perfect. Right here on earth, because as He is so are we in this world. (1 John 4:17)

Zonie please define the word SAINT for me as God uses it in Eph 4:11 to 13... PLEASE.
I would like to see your take on the word. You say lacking nothing in moral charactor and Saint means morally blameless (spotless?) Saint is even Physically PURE.. and you know that means NO SIN IN THE FLESH!!!! But hey give me your take after you studied the word SAINT!

I am SAINT Cobus, what does that mean?

Zonie like Jesus I will also say.... Zone if you love me KEEP MY WORD. KEEP MY COMMAND..... I love you too my dear friend Zonie!

You shouldn't call others "cranky." It's very disrespectful, and what you call others can equally be aspersed back onto yourself.

Cobus, rather than posting every chapter of all the epistles, i'm going to post hotlinks to the very short chapters.
hopefully you will read them and tell me why they have instruction for growth; admonitions and encouragements, if the recipients were already PERFECT (SINLESS LIKE JESUS).

if you have changed your mind about that let me know.

who wrote these letters - to whom - and why is there instruction for growth in them?.
you need to tell me why the greetings to all these letters filled with warnings; doctrines; instructions; encouragements are written to SAINTS.

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 1 ESV
Ephesians 4 ESV
Ephesians 5 ESV
Ephesians 6 ESV
etc

Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus,

To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseersb and deacons:c
Philippians 2 ESV

Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
Philippians 3 ESV
etc

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae:
Colossians 1 ESV
Colossians 2 ESV

Paul, an apostle—not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead— 2and all the brothers who are with me,
To the churches of Galatia

[notice no typical greeting from Paul in this letter - i assume you know why]

in any case: look what Paul said about Peter:

But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.
Galatians 2 ESV

wait....how could two apostles not be in agreement?
how could one call out the other on sin?
were they not perfect saints?

okay? you get the idea with Paul...was Paul a saint Cobus? was he perfect (the way you use the word)? did he say he was?

continue on looking at the greetings and doxologies in all the NT letters and books.
and look as well at The Lord's messages to the 7 churches.

are you telling me they were PERFECT (the way you use the term) COBUS?
that is the GOAL...the point...the thing we strive for as individuals - and as a body.

....

now i'm going to bring this back to you.

1) have you obeyed the gospel to repent of your sins and unbelief? have you been baptized yet? if you despise the baptism ALL the apostles were baptized with; and baptized others with; and the Great Commission...why should i listen to you?

2) do you attend a church - where other believers are gathered so you can do the things the apostles said were to be done in assemblies? why not? i understand there are a ton of cults out there....but are we not supposed to KEEP PRESSING FORWARD?

or are you not attending because you are disobeying this (because you do not understand the word PERFECT, OR SAINT)?:

Hebrews 13
Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you
