Paul preached perfection
Was Paul perfect? Of coarse he was. Did He have to say it before you believe him
A saint is NOT INE with the Body of ChrIst YET.....
Philippians 3
Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect
but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead

Cognate: 5048 teleióō – to consummate, reaching the end-stage, i.e. working through the entire process (stages) to reach the final phase (conclusion). See 5056 (telos).
[This root (tel-) means "reaching the end (aim)." It is well-illustrated with the old pirate's telescope, unfolding (extending out) one stage at a time to function at full-strength (capacity effectiveness).]

these are all excerpts from the letter to the SINFUL IGNORANT REBELLIOUS DISORDERLY church that received pages and pages of warnings and instructions. you know them all.....all the sins.
BUT -
does Paul call them SAINTS?
does he say they ARE the body of Christ?
just yes or no....we need to decide if you are telling the truth about THAT.
1 Corinthians
Greeting
1Paul, called by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and our brother Sosthenes,
2To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:
3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
16Do you not know that youb are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
For all things are yours, 22whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ?
17But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.
12For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slavesd or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
27Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
As in all the churches of the saints
49Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shallf also bear the image of the man of heaven.
