The Gate possessed by Abraham's descendants is Jesus Christ. Now they are inside the Gate, and we were outside but now we enter The Gate to be with them..............in the faith of Abraham our spiritual Father. We must enter by the narrow Gate for wide is the gate to destruction and many enter through it.

What difference does it make? The sabbath was not given as a sign under the new covenant.
Oh it makes a lot of difference. The New Covenant is made with Israel. Israel was given the Sabbath as a perpetual sign. The Israel of the New Covenant will still be keeping the sign.

Part two of your statement, the New Covenant is the writing of the Law in our hearts and minds. The Torah is written in our hearts and minds and that includes the Sabbath.

Because you cannot differentiate between God’s law, which is spirit, and the physical contract that God’s law was expressed through which was solely for a physical nation you remain in bondage by your fleshly ignorance. And to insinuate that many people in this world have the freedom to rest on the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath and because they don’t proves they are slaves to the world implying that keeping the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath would liberate them from their enslavement and make them free like yourself is not only ignorant but it’s also pompous and it shows the true un-Christ-like nature of this cult. I had a 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day cult follower on this board compare me to a dog worthy of eating his discarded scraps of rotting flesh: The fruit of the Ten Commandment 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day cult is identical to the fruit of the Pharisees during the time of Christ
I like that. Thankyou very much!

And never mind that the New Covenant is specifically made with the house of Israel.

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Care to explain that one?
care to explain why you are slaughtering animals then?

how about posting any single passage that says Adam or Abel or Seth or Abraham or Noah rested on the 7th day, or were told to.
how about a single NT commandment regarding keeping the sabbath?
one single warning against breaking the salvation-giving sabbath?

how about that's not a Millennium passage.

btw - are you sacrificing animals like you're supposed to?
Answers were given time and time again but you just don't want to read them.

yes, you are slowly but surely converting to Judaism.
bye now.
Last time you said the same so allow me to use this opportunity to answer you previous accusation.
Jesus vs Yeshua - Is it Judaism when you call someone you love by His real name once you know it despite the poor accent?
Is it a proof of faith to call Him nothing but Jesus?

Christmas - Is it Judaism when you realize something is not right and stop doing it? Do you know who came up with this festival? Do you know what this name implies?

And we know that God would never ask us to inconvenience ourselves...

Heb 11:36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
Heb 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
Heb 11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Mar 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
Mar 13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
Mar 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
Mar 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
Mar 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Luk 21:12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
Luk 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
Luk 21:14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
Luk 21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
Luk 21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
Luk 21:17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

Christ would never ask us to do anything that is not easy. He would never ask us to do anything that might cause us to suffer in the slightest, now would He?
Are you calling Christ a liar when He said “My yoke is easy’? All those scriptures you put up do not show the yoke of Christ’s put on men…. they show the yokes of men placed upon the children of God. And of course those yokes are not enough for the Ten Commandment 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day cult followers…. They want to join the pack and add more yokes on top of all those yokes placed upon the children of God.

One passage doth not a doctrine make. If you think that we shall have a geased slide into the Kingdom of God, you are much mistaken...

Act 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Examining the source of this scripture, the yoke is in reference to teachings. His yoke is easy while that of the hypocrites is a burden, so much so they, the hypocrites, will not lift a finger to exercise them themselves.

“The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:”

This is one of the scriptures the Ten Commandment 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day cult followers use to say the world must keep the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath if not to be saved then to be in high standing with God (which makes no sense).

When Christ said the Sabbath was made for man…

He meant the Sabbath was created to serve man … not man created to serve the Sabbath. And that is exactly what the Sabbath did within the old national contract … the Sabbath served the entire physical nation of Israel by giving them all physical rest.

When Christ said that man was not made for the Sabbath…

He meant that man was not created to serve the Sabbath but the Sabbath was created to serve man. Meaning the Sabbath was not created and instituted so that the Sabbath itself would be served (worshipped) by the nation of Israel.

But these Ten Commandment 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day cult followers serve the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath like serving God… They serve the Sabbath as much or more than they serve God because they preach as much or more about the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath than they preach about Christ… so they are serving the Sabbath as much or more than they are serving Christ. They have become slaves to the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath, as much or more than they are slaves to Christ because it’s always on the front line of their teaching… meaning it’s almost or just as important to them as Christ. That’s why it’s like a cult. In fact some serve (worship) the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath so much that they even name their churches after the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath. .

Yes… this is the yoke I’m talking about compared to the yoke of the Ten commandment 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day cult teachings which are the teachings of men. This is not about the yoke of persecution.

And just what subject did you expect to find discussed in a thread about the Sabbath?

Once more if you examine the source of the Words from the Master you will find He is stating that man may work on the Sabbath to do good any time, be it working to support a family, healing or whatever. He is NOT declaring man is in command of saying when is the Sabbath, only that man is not obliged to refrain from all activity on the Sabbath.

Only Yahweh declares what is right. He declared the Seventh Day to be remembered and no creature may rescind what is declared by the Creator.

Guess you didn't read much of the posts on this thread nor the poll result.
If taking a day off a yoke to you then don't.
Sabbath is made for man.
How would a God loving man utilize it?

I'll go on record here as saying that keeping the Sabbath is no more or less important than keeping the other nine. If one breaks any one in particular, he is guilty of all...

Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Jas 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

So my choice that keeping the Sabbath is necessary for salvation must be understood from the viewpoint that keeping any and all of the Commandments is necessary for salvation...

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Thank God for His mercy and grace.
