Where do you get this bleak picture of women from? How dare you associate that with my post.
I assure you I'm about 50 pounds overweight and I've had dates with women are quite beautiful. I'm currently unemployed and still women tell me "you will make a great husband some day" when they ask if I'm seeing anyone and my answer is no because I want to be financially stable.
You are not helping your brother mykim when every time someone tries to encourage him and all you have to say is jaded and sour.
"Where do you get this bleak picture of women from?" ~ Personal experience ... duh lol. I'm sorry, but this is what I've noticed from hearing and reading what, actually, alot of Christian women have had to say. Sure, they may not have to say the same things, or agree with 100% of what I've said, but this is basically a compendium of what I've reviewed, observed, and even have had the chance to learn from their own opinion personally.
"How dare you associate that with my post.[?]" ~ Because I was inspired to say what I said because of it lol. Nothing personal.
"I assure you I'm about 50 pounds overweight and I've had dates with women are quite beautiful." ~ And I believe you, and I must say that that's pretty cool man ... happy for you. Good for you. You should consider yourself blessed (coming from a guy that's never had a girlfriend, never been on "dates", and hasn't really had any friends ever since he became a Christian lol).
"I'm currently unemployed and still [have] women tell me "you will make a great husband some day" when they ask if I'm seeing anyone and my answer is no because I want to be financially stable." ~ Yeah, they say that to look good when they're thinking, "No ... not him, not him at all lol". They don't want to look mean, appear in a bad light, or seem as if they're interested in something other than Christ in the heart of the man. They tell themselves that they "don't want to hurt you", and so they deceive ever so softly, and many of them have mastered the technique of deceiving themselves. And I completely understand about being financially stable; but what's going on? Why aren't you employed?
"You are not helping your brother mykim when every time someone tries to encourage him and all you have to say is jaded and sour." ~ Um ... it seems to me that mykim actually already knows everything I've said to be fact.
I know, it does sound bleak. But, again, this is what I've gathered from my own experience as a Christian. Is it sad? Then pray for me. God can help me better than someone online a million miles away. The Holy Ghost is a greater comforter than any advice found in a post in a forum.
