I believe Isdaniel asked for ONE VERSE that sets aside the Sabbath and shows that we should keep another day.

this is what is wrong with people. Who in here claimed it was another day?
if people would actually read what others say. We would not keep having these foolish arguments of things which NO one is saying..

Romans 3

9 What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin.10 As it is written:
“There is no one righteous, not even one;
11 there is no one who understands;
there is no one who seeks God.
12 All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.”
[b]
13 “Their throats are open graves;
their tongues practice deceit.”
[c]
“The poison of vipers is on their lips.”
[d]
14 “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”
[e]
15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 ruin and misery mark their ways,
17 and the way of peace they do not know.”
[f]
18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
[g]

Colossians 3

8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Ephesians 4

29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Shew me a verse that takes God name in vain ?

What is blasphemy ?

Well it is still sad. Scripture tells us over and over we have assurance we are saved forever. Why people want to make it so hard is beyond me.
Don't be deceived. Have faith in God's Word and not popular doctrines. I've seen doctrines declare that assured salvation is easy. Doctrines like those have sometimes been labelled "easy believism".

I've seen Jesus give a different point of view. I believe Jesus.

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.(Luke 13:24)

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:22-23)

Please shew one verse that Paul says keep the first day
Hebrews 4:7
God again set a certain day, calling it "Today."

This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts."

....

Hebrews 4
6Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience, 7 He again fixes a certain day, "Today," saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before, "TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS." 8 For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that

WHAT?
what does THAT mean?

any clue?

Hebrews 4:6
Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience,

Hebrews 4:5
And again in the passage above he says, "They shall never enter my rest."

huh?

The Sabbath was NOT set aside as a specific day of worship services. It was set as a day of REST.

[h=3]Hebrews 4[/h]King James Version (KJV)

4 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

God is saying He gave the literal Sabbath to be kept some did not keep it because of unbelief thus will not enter into that eternal rest

hmmm you should read Ezekiel 20 It should help

since there's no 1,000 year millennium rest that men INVENTED because they think Christ's work is not sufficient...

.....it's NOW....the REST IS TODAY.

but you don't have any idea what that means because you are focused on flesh Israel (whoever that is); your justification by the Law (whatever that is); an unfulfilled 70th week (whatever that is), and a king who can't be king.

no wonder you have no rest.

how's that YOKE? good?

Uh, OK, you say it is very complicated...

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Your one verse is relevant but the whole counsel of God needs to be considered. That's 66 books, 1189 chapters, 31,102 verses.

Paul indirectly tells the Ephesians elders in Acts 20:25-26 that he had avoided guilt only because he had declared the whole counsel of God as it existed at that time: "...I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God."

This sounds like worship to me
[h=3]Isaiah 58:13-14[/h]King James Version (KJV)

13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it

OK, perhaps we are viewing this differently. I took it to mean it was very complicated when in fact it is simple. I think I see what you mean that there is much to the knowledge of the truth (all though not complicated, it has many facets). Am I understanding you here?

Don't be deceived. Have faith in God's Word and not popular doctrines. I've seen doctrines declare that assured salvation is easy. Doctrines like those have sometimes been labelled "easy believism".
Be decieved in what? That salvation can not be assured. even though God says it is over and over, because it is based on HIM and everything he did?

Yes, There are so called "easy believers" also called licentious. But these people never had faith in God or anything he said. They say a prayer and think they are saved. But never really believed it was true to begin with.

But the decieved ones are the pharisees. Who think they can somehow do enough to make God look at them, and say, Yes, I accept you based on what you have done.

This is the biggest lie Satan has ever made, And it still (6000 years later) has fooled so many people. Just look in here at people who think they will stand in front of God based on their goodness. And God will let them in.

Here is the fact.

You and I deserve eternal death. Where we stand right now. No matter how well we THINK we have obeyed Gods law and his commands, And what we THINK we have done for him. WE DESERVE eternal death.

But as you can see in here today. Some still do not believe this. THAT IS SAD!

Actually it is not a different view. The works based mentality is so large in the world and has been from day one. That is the wide gate.

It is so hard to sit still and trust GOD to save you. It is against human nature. That is why so few will enter in.

thats why on judgment day, when the books are opened. And these people who worked to earn salvation by their deeds will be crying to God. "but I did all these things in your name"

And God will say depart from me/

Why?? Again. At this moment and for every waking moment we live on this earth. WE DESERVE ETERNAL CONDEMNATION.

Those who think they deserve eternal life, because they faithfully obeyed the sabaath and did other commands. will weep and nash their teeth. Because they refused to repent (admit this)

hmmm you should read Ezekiel 20 It should help
which part do you want me to look at?

point me to the part where either you are ancient Israel with a temple and prophets and idolatry and exiles.

OR

some fantasy 1,000 years in our future where you are Israel with a temple and prophets and idolatry and exiles.

whatever you do, make CERTAIN you skip over Jesus Christ.

Romans 10
The Message of Salvation to All
5For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. 6But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7or “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” 12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

14How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?c And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” 16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

18But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they have, for

“Their voice has gone out to all the earth,
and their words to the ends of the world.”

19But I ask, did Israel not understand? First Moses says,

“I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation;
with a foolish nation I will make you angry.”

20Then Isaiah is so bold as to say,

“I have been found by those who did not seek me;
I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.”

21But of Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

The law says nothing about attending worship services on the sabbath. It says to keep the day holy by not working on it.

Many who worship on Sunday simply don't believe that keeping the sabbath under the new covenant has anything to do with observing days. So the worn out characterization that they have changed the sabbath to another day is pointless.

In practicality, Paul probably didn't mention every verse of Scripture. However, I'm confident that Paul didn't shun and avoid verses that didn't fit his paradigm. As needed, he fit his message to match with the Scriptures. It's common and easy to ignore Scriptures that don't fit our message. The message to be declared is God's message. It is God's gospel. His laborers are stewards and called to be faithful to declare God's Word and make it plain.

And as many say the sabbath was given to Israel

So all Israel is to keep Sabbath therefore again who is Israel
