But what you don't understand is that actually doing what Christ reveals in the Bible is not politically correct. And we would rather please men that God...

Act 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Actually, I do understand that. But people who call themselves Christians should know this too. Therefore, there shouldn't be any debate.

Okay, plain and simple God just love you, And god is not counting sins against you or anyone today.
Rather God has poured out Mercy to us all. So it is up to each person their choice as to believe God, thank God and trust God or not
Simple enough?
Thank you very much for your simple response… saves me a lot of time… I’ve got enough things to read here.

I never reply to posters that i've seen copy and plaster volumes of pre-prepared scripture and commentary from stacks of existing files that they have on hand to deal with all the various doctrines… even if they challenge my views. And you can tell it’s pre-prepared because it gets plastered within a very short time span and it’s done as a tactic to bog you down and dominate the discussion board.

So you believe in the popular Christian doctrine that once you are forgiven through Christ.... God counts no sin against you no matter what you do or what your lifestyle?

And please if it is not too much trouble… limit the scriptures if you decide to respond because it’s physically impossible for me to properly review them.

thanks

WRONG! God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, its not on human effort and this is scary!

For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. Romans 9:15

i cant say i am saved yet because i havent been shown mercy, if i had i would have the holy spirit and this is actually a super natrual act from God(Titus 3:5)

yes Jesus died for the sins of the world, but it dosent mean everyone is saved because of it. Why because

Nothing unclean will enter heave(One sin on your soul at your death = eternal torment) revelation 21:27
if you sin in one area you are guity of it all(James 2:10) so a homosexual is just as bad as a fornacator

How is this even a debate in the Christian community? Do you not read your Bible?

Romans 1:26-28 ESV / 213 helpful votes

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ESV / 83 helpful votes

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 7:2 ESV / 69 helpful votes

But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.

Mark 10:6-9 ESV / 60 helpful votes

But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”

Jude 1:7 ESV / 34 helpful votes

Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

1 Timothy 1:10-11 ESV / 12 helpful votes

The sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.
Oh I agree with what the word says and it is for each person to decide for themselves. what is truth over error
Titus 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

So whether I have come to the Faith that has set me free form harming one another or not:
2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

and the above depends one's perception as to what the obedience of Christ was and is. Either Law or Love God's way, not man's
Therefore:
2 Corinthians 10:6 and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

It is up to each person to decide in and for themselves, I am not God over anyone, and since God gave me grace, I am thankful and not a condemner knowing I deserve to be condemned
Praying you might see this love that God has poured out to all through Son
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Did Christ die for just you, you and you over there, or is God fair and did it for all that will come to believe God and then change as God leads them not me, you or anyone else.

Humble is a key figure in the /grace provided through Christ

Agreed, so how can one do that?
I mean there is works?
There is Faith?
There are works that create Faith?
And there is Faith the works follow?

When a person from God's perspective is born again, has been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise as in:
Ephesians 1:13 in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Are they perfect from God's perspective through Son Christ?
[h=3]Colossians 1:21-23[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]21 [/SUP]And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled [SUP]22 [/SUP]in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: [SUP]23 [/SUP]if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

A physical analogy for you to bring home a spiritual reality.
When a fruit any fruit is first born in and through a tree branch, is it perfect when first born?
What does it need? Maturity yes? Hebrews 5:10- 6:6, shows this as needed to become as God through Faith and quit playing Church as if holier than anyone else, please

One must be aware that our lack of righteous actions, and lack of correct warnings do not glorify God as we are required. We are suppose to speak out against what God has clearly defined as corruption, and exact these warnings according to his will.

1 Thessalonians 5:14 (KJV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

Ezekiel 33:4-6 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

John 7:24 (KJV)
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

2 Timothy 4:8 (KJV)

[SUP]8 [/SUP]Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

John 15:12 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

How would what anyone does or not do make void the fact that Christ went to the cross for us and took away the sin of the world in Father's sight?
It is what it is, is it not?
So response is actually the key here is it not?
Knowing that God loves you unconditionally that God through Son went to the cross for you to take away your sins 100%.
How will you react?
I know how I did and do in trust to Father to do in me the righteousness of father and that alone

There is no such thing as a "Christian homosexual" True Christians(very rare these days) are not homosexuals. Homosexuals go to hell(1 corinthians 6:9-11)
All sinners go to hell then, and no reprieve as to what you just said being legalistic.
And I am not excusing any sin to anyone no way no how.
Have you not sinned yourself, so by your own words you have condemned yourself to Hell. not having received the Mercy yourself or have you received the Mercy from God that comes through Son Christ
Have Mercy on me Father?
Or glad I am not like that man (Homosexual) over there? I never sin ever, I am perfect in and of me, Hallelujah to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nor me or anyone, God does just love you, me and all so much that son went to the cross for us to give us new life in him by the resurrection in his Spirit to love all unconditionally as he did while we all still sin from time to time and some more so than others. Yet as each of us that do believe respond to this merciful God in Thanksgiving and praise, changing our thoughts accordingly, being shown truth from error(s) and change to not do what we then see as not good for us
Anyone see that here are you growing in the grace of God and seeing things differently than you did before as in a response to thanking God for loving you this much in spite of what you have done or might do?
That is the unfathomable love of God to all. Maybe it is time to respond rather than create a life of righteousness that no flesh can do. Only one that ever did, and that was Christ only.

Too bad you are banned, but maybe you might read this, and can't respond but here goes.
Yes God will have Mercy on whom God will, and compassion on whom God will why is this?

Because God knows the heart of every man, woman and child.
Therefore, it is what is your motive as to why you might and might not receive the truth from God
Do you want to spend it on your own pleasures? are like one of those men that went into the temple and said Thank you God I am not like that person over there, I do what is right, I am in Church every Sunday, I listen to the preacher and do as told. I pay my Tithes and so on and so forth
Then there is the Homosexual, who says Lord Have Mercy on me a sinner.

Who is justified and who gets to make that decision?
God or you, or anyone else?
Will God forsake that person? And act like many here are acting as if they are holier than others, maybe with good intentions in kind, but they are fleshly and do not please Father.

By his Death, Christ's Death we are made righteous before Father why?
So we can and do by Faith in that death of Christ for us can be made alive in the Spirit at the resurrected Christ. Father does this operation as a free gift to us all that believe God in the finished work of Son
Not all have received this, or understand this free gift from Father to us through Son. Even the Angels inquired and yet did not receive for God knows one's motive and accordingly decides who receives and who does not
So maybe it is time to cry for Mercy, with no ill intent in mind and receive truth that sets you free

Today is the day to believe and receive, asking God himself to teach you personally error from truth and I bet by this Faith you will learn to say no to unrighteousness even self righteousness that flesh just does not want to let go of.

Good point .........but we aren't supposed to be inverts. We are to love others as we love ourselves, and if I was in error, and falling short from entering His rest, I would certainly want a faithful believer to point out my error.

1 Corinthians 5:2-6 (KJV)
[SUP]2 [/SUP]And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
[SUP]4 [/SUP]In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
[SUP]5 [/SUP]To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

We should be grieved about the sins of others....... Grieved enough to call them out if we really care, and restore those if they want it. If not, let the cookie crumble where it will, but never send them away without knowing the truth, even though they don't want it. That's not condemnation, it's loving them to the extent that they will allow it.

Okay, you use what was happening in the gathering of the Saints, in Corinth. They were taking for granted that they were 100% forgiven and figured they could do whatever they wanted being forgiven, and gloried in it.
that is what the entire written 1 Corinthians is all about, straightening out that heresy.
They were correct about being 100% forgiven, but they had only a worldly sorrow, and not a Godly one. So Brother let us not fall after the same misusing of being forgiven. Nor let us call God a liar in us through Christ being forgiven either, as in the self will of asking forgiveness over and over again, we are either forgiven 100% or we are not, make the choice.

Hebrews 2:3 how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Hebrews 10:28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

So the Corinthians came to:
2 Corinthians 7:9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
2 Corinthians 7:11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

When one leads a horse to water, can one force the horse to drink, and the horse be satisfied?
Or is it better for the horse to decide to drink and be satisfied
Free will choice is sweeter than honey
John 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
John 4:14 but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Why are we mixing force with free will? and not just loving as Christ has loved us, beyond loving neighbor as self Brother
Yes let it all fall were it may and just tell of the good news and quit the editing and destroying, and start trusting God's love to permeate all through your new self starting at the new heart God implanted from day one of your belief
I understand admonishment, and what it does to another when it is of the flesh doing it, and how it causes despising each other and we have all the different groups we have today when we are to be one faith, one love, one spirit, one baptism, one in Father through Son Christ. And we are all carnal and in need of the Godly repentance, and quit this like men.
I am sorrowful to all that do not come to trust God in all things they do or not do, as God said he will never leave us nor forsake us
God seeks:
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 14:17 even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

maybe it is time to see from the Spirit of God rather than this world of goody two shoes
