You should look into Canadian/ American labor laws. For work done over the border, your 'labor laws' may not have any barring to apply for employees from other countries working in America. However I am not working in America, I am on Canadian soil doing PR work for an American company (doesn't sound right? Lol). Is CC an American company? Threats of a country suing a citizen of another country will get my government to protect me. Good luck with your new image.

As an American company, I'm tyrannical, and I don't care what I look like. We're like Walmart; people hate us, but buy our products nonetheless. We'll win. Don't worry. I'm wicked good at this.

If I ever did start a CC business I'd probably hire Alexis as my PR (public relations) person. :) The rest of you are fired! :p

I've done a good job with security.

There have been no major incidents after the Grace-Like-Rain hostage crisis.

As long as I don't have to deal with the customers

By the way; Do we have a copy machine? If so:
If any of you complain that the machine "isn't working", and I find out you put in A4 paper and tried to print on A3, or "letter" or other strange things, I will whack you on the top of the head with the manual and then roll you in the contents of the waste toner container.
That would be me. As i have no clue what you're talking about.

I think she's talking about the proper procedure to exorcise a demon from a printer.

Well that's unfortunate.....we were about to extend the courtesy of unlimited usage of the remote penthouse in Brooklyn so you may write witty anecdotes undisturbed...
Thank you for your consideration.

Psshhhh! 'remote penthouse in Brooklyn' ? You are kidding, right? :p What happen to the quiet peaceful cabin on the mountaintop out under the clear sky, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city?

What? And how do you know this? GRA left without saying "Good-Bye."
GRA was really discouraged that day...

( I do regret that I left that way. )

Gary, are you GRA?
If you are, you need to say "Good-Bye" before you come back to say, "Hello."
:p
I left...
"Good-Bye"
I came back...
"Hello"

Yes, darlin' -- it's really me...

Okay, GRA, your gig is up. You came back to these VERY COOL forums because you got lonely around your birthday and you missed us. :)

Thanks for the cake, but my birthday was back in September. I left a little over a month ago. I came back about a week ago.

But, the important thing is -- that I am back -- right?

:)

Ugly-

Due to extravagant and unauthorized use, please drop off the keys to the company jet at the front desk on your way out. We'll give you a reference in exchange for your severance.

Regards,

Chockley Bonkson III
Chairman of the board

Awesome. I'm head of the legal department. This means I put out all y'all's fires, take long lunches, and razzle dazzle 'em. (10 points and shiny nickel if you get the reference).

I'm also a profiler and counselor, so I can get you out of trouble and then counsel you to stay out of it.

Alexis, since you're my go-to-girl, I'm going to need vast amounts of coffee. Like, all the time. So that's your number one job. Also, reminding me to be nice to people by not telling them they're stupid is your second job. And third is to make sure I ingest more than coffee. Too much caffeine makes my tummy hurt.

I'm a gift giver, so you'll often have little presents or bonuses for putting up with me. I'll even help put you through school. :)

Sirs:

At this time I am tendering my resignation from my position of Chief Engineering Officer. The numerous and tediously unfunny thread police are incompatible with my California lifestyle.

Warm regards,

Praus.
