Redtent, i thought about my post after i posted it, how the heart is deceitful, and that someone would say some thing about it. What i'm saying is if we feel conviction about some thing. Like i'm vegetarian, if i decided to eat a steak with that conviction for me it would be wrong, if i decide to drink booze, i don't think i can without getting drunk, so for me its wrong, if i don't recognize 7th day rest, i would feel conviction, so for me its wrong. i hope i made what i said more clear.

A clean conscience is what it's all about.

i also personally experienced this and i believe this is why there is eternal security also, i'll explain 1 Corinthians 6:19

King James Version (KJV)

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

so after being filled with the holy spirit it is no longer our body but the body of Christ but what happens when we allow our flesh to take control and we start sinning wilfully again? what would God do to bring us back to him to where we were?Hebrews 10:26-27

King James Version (KJV)

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

what well this very thing happen to me yesterday... i got carried away and forgot that this is the body of christ and i somehow got persuaded to drink... and as God notice that i was sinning wilfully something came over me i use to suffer from anxiety attacks that happen to me when i use to smoke but i wasn't smoking just sinning wilfully and i was wondering why this was happening and it gradually keep getting worst and worst and i was getting paranoid at everything until it got to a point where i couldn't take it anymore and i was on a bus going home and i cried out to God for help and he anwsered back, that same scripture came into my head as i cried out to God " fearful look at judgement" then i saw a flash back of myself of what i was doing throughout the day i know that was God and when i understood what i had done i ask God to forgive me and cleanse me from this feeling and it immediately went away and i came back to God once again, i believe this is a sign of eternal security some may not agree but i don't think God will allow his children to just stray away without scolding them remember he is our father and what did our parents do to us when we misbehave? they straightened us out and made us humble it's the same thing with God.

Was king david under grace or law ?

Grace always follows the law\
the holy spirit is a lawkeeper.
If you are under grace you are keeping the law
If you are not keeping the law you are not under grace.
grace is the influence of the holy spirit

David had grace
David said

Psa 119:55 I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
Psa 119:72 The law of thy mouth (spoken from the mountain) is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

Psa 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

everlasting

Psa 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

those who nail the law to the cross have no peace, they have a world of crime.

Remember the definition of sin:

1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
..
Now read Romans

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin (transgress the law), because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin(transgressing the law) unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin (transgressing the law), but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin (transgressing the law) , ye became the servants of righteousness.
Psa 119:172 ... for all thy commandments are righteousness.

Being made free from sin we are now servants of the ten commandments of loving God and man

this was all written YEARS AFTER JESUS WENT TO HEAVEN

Clear and final.

By the law we know what is sin.

If the law were removed there would be no sins and everyone could kill and steal whenever they wanted.

On man said: We should get rid of the drug laws and no one will be put in prison and the crime statistics would go to zero and our drug problem would be over!
Then he said if we did away with all laws altogether we would not need prisons anymore!

this is the EXACT THING satan told the angels in heaven

If we do away with the law, there would be no need of punichment anymore and the universe would be a happy place!

ok, look around you
no one believes in the ten commandments at all anymore even the churches
so the world is a happy place?

no do away with all laws and you wont need prisons, you willl need cemetaries.

sin kills

the law stands
sin is sin
and it is not nailed to the cross

those who way the law is done away with are spreading satans message that the universe would be a better place without any law at all

this is untrue.
Everyone would kill each other.

what we feel in our heart, is what we should obey. The truth for us is in our heart.

What if I feel like taking my neighbors possessions from him by force?

Now you are going to say that a converted person with the Spirit of God would never think such things. Ho, Ho, Ho...

Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Rom 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
Rom 7:16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
Rom 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Rom 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Paul thought these things and so did the Lord's brother James...

Jas 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

Now, if those guys had desires to sin, I don't feel all alone when I have to fight against those evil desires.

Wondering hwhat a once saved always saved church's ideal heaven would be like...
You can live between the unrepentant rapist and the serial killer...
I am sure your eternity would be more like hell.

You are an idolator who has made the law your god. You think the law is greater than the spirit, but it is the spirit who wrote the law.

Another false SDA talking point repeated ad infinitum. The verse above is a mistranslation. But law-cultists don't care. Just keep repeating it over and over because it serves their agenda.

And you have made grace your god hmmm
did you honestly just say that? [h=3]Romans 6:14[/h]King James Version (KJV)

1 Corinthians 11:31-32

But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged. 32But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world.

God Bless

Mattithyah 5:19, "Whosoever, therefore, will break one of the least of these Laws, and will teach men so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of Yahweh; but whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Yahweh."

welcome back hizikyah how ya been bro

Josh, thank you for asking, I have been very well and very busy. Been in the word found 2 new nuggets of interest! I hope all is well with you, and even thought we disagree on much I sincerely we can:

Ephesians 4:13, "Until we all come to the same unity of the faith, and of the same knowledge the Son of Yahweh, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah."

praise Yahweh for us even being able to dwell on Him and His Messiah!

Made possible by the cross and not our own works or so called law keeping. No man can keep law. Thats why Jesus came and sacrificed Himself that those who have faith in the cross would be saved.

did you know this is why Jesus died also? so we can find a way to be with him he realize that our flesh was weak to the law so he had another plan which is the death of jesus and through his spirit the law is fulfilled in us when we accept him in order to be righteous... this is what i've been trying to say for months continously but no one understands :( that's why the bible says surrender to the cross daily, not the law because the flesh is weak to the law [h=3]Romans 8:2-4[/h]King James Version (KJV)

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Its like saying God whacks both jesus and the believer. Then whats the purpose jesus came then?
