haha No one really is. And the ones that aren't still get together and have great marriages.

Your argument is invalid ;)
I'm pretty sure what he means is that wallowing in your self-pity and sorrows isn't going to get you into a relationship any quicker. One thing that turns a woman off is a guy that's just desperate to be in a relationship for the sake of a relationship...not for the other person. I'm a woman. I know these things.

Actually, you're wrong. If you tried to get into a relationship right now, it would end up a train wreck. Your posts show that you're bitter, you oppose correction, you loathe and objectify women, and you have a one-track mind (relationships, girls, and relationships).

This is Dothack all over again.

Let's be clear : " Dating " comes from the world,
and it has nothing to do with what's best for true Christians.
Christians should not conform to the world, for they are to be the Light of the world. If the Christians just conform to the world, if they don't show a difference in their practices and just " date " like any pagan or atheist, do they represent Light ?

Christians should make a radical difference and bring something to the world of relationships as radically different as Light from darkness : Scriptural Courting !

Fiat Lux !
Let there be Light !

I much prefer dating and courting over being betrothed to some stranger. Dating is good because it allows you to get to know the person without having to worry about commitment yet.

Here we go again ! Did I ever say scriptural courting is about " being betrothed to some stranger " ?
Of course not ! If you think "
Dating is good ", good for you.
But I doubt the tons of dead bodies from STDs, abortions, broken hearts, etc. would agree with you.

There is a difference between those who date to have a social life...and those who date just to sleep around..

What about: instead of parents arranging marriages, they arrange a person of the opposite sex for courtship?

My dad did that. Except that he was more subtle about it, he said that the guy needed someone his age to talk to and be friends with. Then, he and the guy's father arranged for me to get a job near the guy. Long story short I married the guy, his father regrets it, and I have a beautiful family. lol

I don't see any difference, for any kind of " dating " is worldly, and plays with fire.

Do you like to play with fire ? Not me.

There is a difference in worldviews between our cultures :) Just accept that I don't mind dating around to see who's out there. Then again, i only date one person at a time. I'm not a player like the people you brought up earlier.

Wow, then you don't really know me at all lol.

Um ... this is ridiculous. It's so sad that you consider me as "objectifying" women and "loathing" them.

You're the third "helper" that's tried. Truth is, you know nothing at all about me, and you'll know nothing from reading internet posts.

Good day, sir.

Ah, what fanciful woman logic! :D

No worries. I don't worry about "turning women off" because there really isn't any Christian girls my age to date around here, where I live. lol Not much I can even do haha.

Not to mention the fact that there are so many "turn offs" with Christian women today.

But it seems to be a very feminine trait to justify yourselves, blame men, and consider every women as perfect unto the very end, so I'll spare you.

Is it so ? My " culture " was from the world several years ago, but now, my culture is from Heaven ! :)

You say " i only date one person at a time ",
I say Satan needs only one " date " to destroy everything in one's life,
and it's been my own experience that truly, Satan uses " dating " to destroy people's lives,
and I'm still alive, thanks God !
We don't live in the new earth yet;
this world we're living in is called ' The valley of the shadow of the death " for a reason !
So we ought to be extremely cautious down here !

Adam: ... How about sex?

[lol And if you don't believe me, read everything up to Genesis 4.1 haha]
God created sex, not Adam.

Gen 1:27-28 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, ...

Actually, I consider myself very well acquainted with what the word of God says.
Art05, we're Christians and your lack of honestly suggests that you're not from God.

Num 23:19 God [is] not a man, that he should lie; ...

It was ... a joke.

And actually, I didn't originate the idea of the joke, but I came from a great book entitled What Your Husband Isn't Telling You: A Guided Tour of a Man's Body, Soul, and Spirit, by David Murrow.

This was ... weird lol.

Teaching directly against scripture under the guise of comedy is very cowardly thing to do on Christian Chat. Even worse is to blame someone named David Murrow for your lack of adult skills.

but aren't you the one who keeps blaming our gender for your singlehood? If you are that worried about no women being in your area, then move. It's that simple...

Blame David Murrow? What on earth are you talking about?

lol Lack of adult skills? Are we just inventing things now, Praus?

And some light humor (of which I know does not line up to what your point is, that God created sex) is no cause to consider me a heretic, please man. You're being far too dramatic. Please calm yourself.

But that book really is great. I recommend it to every man (even if it's target audience is married men, I, being a bachelor, enjoyed it regardless).

Moving is quite simple but I never said it would be easy. I mean it's either you move or you just keep on making excuses for there not being enough women in your area...

It is neither easy nor simple. Maybe for you, but not for me. lol Just thinking about it blows my mind haha.

But oh well.

Let's just move on where we can ... in our topics of conversation lol
