Even if you do not know your doctrine, adherents to the doctrine of hypostatic union, this is what the core of the doctrine means, deity died. So, can you or should you stay in fellowship & communion with a church system that believes, teaches & confesses this.

Please, expound. Let's talk bible. I reject hypostatic union, for a very, well, one or three reasons. I am cooking dinner, but I will check in later.

Only the flesh died. This is why God became flesh because in the form of God he cannot die.
Not what it says. The book says He died for our sins.

Christ Himself affirms this...

Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

He says He was dead and is now alive forevermore. Either He died to pay for our sins, or the death penalty was not satisfied and if it was not, we are toast, literally.

Two natures, one.

A body thou hast prepared for me, two.

God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, three.

Christ shared in all types, flesh and blood, flesh and bone, glorified body, four.

Just to get the party started!

Christ died in the flesh and then, as God's Son, He went into hell and took the keys of death. He rose again on the third day and ascended into Heaven, thus He is still alive, thus He cannot die. The mortal flesh died, but the powerful deity of Christ lived on. No other soul that died was able to take the keys of death, but Jesus did.

Trying to understand His sacrifice from an unbelieving atheistic view will just frustrate you and others. Read Revelation. It will help a bit in understanding.

Yes, this is very true. I am not understanding how this suggests that deity can die.

NO, Christ died and just like Rover He died all over. He was stone cold dead. That is what makes His sacrifice so amazing, He really did love His creation enough to DiE for it.

The real point is that He became a man, died and was raised from the dead. I see where you are coming from.

No, the Bible says that a person, a soul can and does die. The spirit does not live on consciously after death. Our hope is the resurrection from the dead.

Yes. He died. I didn't dispute that. Yet, His Spirit/Soul didn't die. He took the keys to death and rose again. No other spirit/soul could do that.

Death is a separation from deity.
Deity is life
Sin is the wages earned from separating from the truth
Deity cannot die because deity lives in all times and places past present and future and that has already happened and already is and already will be so you cant change history.

Death is also a separation of the soul from the body.

Is it that deity can't die? Or that Spirit doesn't die?

Death is nonexistance.
When the breath of life the holy spirit leaves the body the body dies and man becomes unliving and no longer has a soul

Satan will die soon
O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Ezek 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Ezek 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
Ezek 28:19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Without God you cannot exist
separation from God is death
god is life.
the wicked shall be as if they had never been.
