Which is OK, but it is the wrong month. I would have to check, but I believe the previous year of the Hebrew calendar was an intercalary year and had thirteen months. This pushes the first month to a later date in the year Christ was crucified.
The first month in Exodus took in March and April as we know them. Anyway, the calendar that you posted does confirm 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb. That's what started this conversation. Taking that, and adding the 40 days Jesus was on earth before His ascension, we can calculate the giving of the law and Pentecost on the same day. Shavuot, 3rd month, third day as in Exodus chapter 19.

After studying the giving of the law and the giving of the Holy Spirit, I have seen that the people who want to negate the law, and say that the Holy Spirit now teaches the law without the Mosaic law, are somewhat dumbfounded by the comparisons of the 2.

If we fail to understand that the feasts are annual, and not as the weekly Sabbaths, with monthly new moons, we will not be able to understand how these Sabbath days were different. The lamb was killed on the 14th, and then taking into account the time to butcher it, and cook it before eating, would be the night starting the 15th day. It was at night that the angel of death passed over and killed the first born while the lamb was being eaten. Passover then would not always fall on the weekly Sabbath days, when and if it did would be very rare.

We celebrate that night as the Night to Be Much Observed.

Well, we really have no way to determine that. The Hebrew calendar is based on a nineteen year time cycle. Seven of those nineteen years have 13 months and are called intercalary years. Since we do not know the exact year of the Exodus, we cannot determine when the Passover occurred. We know it was on the 14th day of the first month, but we do not know what month(s) that corresponded to in the Gregorian.

Finally found the calendar that helped me when I made the same mistake several months ago. I always thought that Jesus couldn't have been in the grave for 3 days and 3 night like Jonah on the belly of the fish. I had to reconnoiter. :p:rolleyes: It is easy to do with the teachings we get as a child in Sunday School. No fault of the teacher. Anyway this is what enlightened me. I say again that the Passover was after dark which was the beginning of day 15. Jesus rose before dawn on the 18th day, the first day of the week. Exodus 12:8 (KJV)
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

That is correct, we should only concentrate on the 14th day of the first month. It really works out according to the time line of why the Pharisees had to bury Jesus before the high day which was the annual Sabbath. It was by all records that I find in AD 31. That year I cannot prove. Nevertheless, we have to calculate Jonah, the 40 days before the ascension, the 7 week feast, along with firstfruits, the giving of the law the 3rd month, 3rd day, also trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles of the 7th month. If we do that, it all fits perfectly. I understand the leap years, one month added between the 11th and 12th months.

Just a side not. Right now I am studying the omers of Flour, and the 1/4th hin of oil mixed in the 7th month. Needless to say, even though I study the Hebrew pictorial language, does any one have insight as to why theses quantities where specified? It's fascinating, but very difficult. God bless all:)

Keeping the feasts in Spirit, also compares precisely with the 1st and 7th months, and the days therein that are noted as Sabbath days. We should live them in our Spiritual walk. It is helping me by observation, but I don't do the traditions of the physical. When I read of self affliction, I know that this means self denial. It all fits.

Mark 8:34 (KJV)
[SUP]34 [/SUP]And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Now that one is correct. This is April 25, 31AD on the Gregorian calendar and Nisan 14 on the Hebrew calendar. One and the same day. Wednesday.

Now let's put a little gasoline on the fire...

Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

There were actually four decrees...

1) The decree of Cyrus...

Ezr 1:1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
Ezr 1:2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
Ezr 1:3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.
Ezr 1:4 And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.

536BC add 69 weeks (483 years) and we come to 53BC. This doesn't work, it is way to early.

2) The decree of Darius I...

Ezr 6:8 Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king's goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.

520BC add 69 weeks (483 years) and we come to -37BC. Still early.

3) The decree of Artaxerxes I...

Ezr 7:11 Now this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe of the words of the commandments of the LORD, and of his statutes to Israel.
Ezr 7:12 Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect peace, and at such a time.
Ezr 7:13 I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.

457BC add 69 weeks (483 years) and we come to 26AD but there is no year zero so we have to add one more and we come to 27AD. Christ began His ministry in 27AD and was crucified in 31AD

4) The decree of Artaxerxes...

Neh 2:7 Moreover I said unto the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may convey me over till I come into Judah;
Neh 2:8 And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.
Neh 2:9 Then I came to the governors beyond the river, and gave them the king's letters. Now the king had sent captains of the army and horsemen with me.

444BC add 69 weeks (483 years) and we come to 39AD but there is no year zero so we have to add one more and we come to 40AD. This is too late.

Of the four decrees, the only one that works is 457BC.

Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,

This occurred on a Wednesday, the middle of the week. Christ became the sacrifice and the sacrifices were no longer required.

and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate,

And the Temple was made desolate in 70AD.

even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

At the consummation, the abominations are poured out on the desolator (see the margin here, desolate should have been rendered desolator) The AoD will recieve back what he has caused.

All of this to make the point that Christ was crucified on a Wednesday.

I keep them and have done so since 1969. I have found a very important principle to be that doing precedes understanding.

Thanks brother. I find that sheave and omer are the same word in Hebrew in some cases. The sheave is before the grinding into flour however. I usually study what each letter of the 22 that are in the alphabet, and determine what the deeper meaning is to the entire word. This was a very good conversation, so now we can understand that Jesus was in the grave for three days. Wonderful! I will also read the site you offered.

Would you cook a meal in the kitchen on your honeymoon?
I would cook it friday

How many of us even have a honeymoon with Jesus every week?

We are supposed to do the cooking on preparation day.
you can heat it up to warm it up so we dont get sick
Jesus healed on Sabbath

chooping kindling and jhauling wood is not a honeymoon activity and interupts time with Jesus.
I suppose this is going off topic, but since you mentioned "honeymoon", it is so sad how many Believers do not realize why John 1.1 says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God--". Jn.17.8 Jesus gave us words FROM God, that we are to receive into ourselves(Jn.6.48-63, Js.1.21), words that Jn.15.3 with Eph.5.26 show will cleans and sanctify the Church Bride. Can it be comprehended that receiving the Word into our souls with love, IS the divine penetration? As long as the winds of doctrine blow, and the floods of doctrine flow, the divine penetration is prevented. That would explain why Ps.138. 2 says "--the Lord has magnified HIS WORD above ALL his name". Why else would he say that, since Acts 4.12 says there is no other name under heaven given whereby a man mujst be saved?

Yes, Yeshua is our righteousness. The Word came and dwelt among us, and that Word is Yeshua, Who is Yahweh and the Holy Spirit, that is unless Isaiah's prophesies concerning the Child being born unto us is false. Isaiah 9.

the apostles harvested and ate on the Sabbath. Jesus healed on the Sabbath. Follow Christ salvation is in Him alone.
Friend, if you will notice Ex.12.16 concerning the Sabdath "--no manner of work shall be done SAVE THAT WHICH EVERY MAN MUST EAT, that only shall be done". Ex.35.3 "Ye shall kindle NO FIRES through out your habitation upon the Sabbath day", Deut.23.25 "When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest PLUCK THE EARS WITH THINE HAND, but thou shalt not MOVE A SICKLE into the neighbours standing corn". Luke 6.1 "And it came to pass on the -- Sabbath --, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn and did eat, rubbing them in their hands". Notice no fire was was built, no sickle was used to thresh, and nothing was caried out. Also John 4.6-8, it was not the Sabbath, and (-- the Disciples were gone away into the city to BUY meat)". That has confused many for a long time, but Jesus only broke the Sabbath rules of the pios Scribes, not the written word of God.

Yes He did, but what about all the words the WORD spoke prior to John 1:14. Most do not pay any attention to them.
