It was not a angel it was God himself that came down in Exodus 19 and the Law was given to Moses in Exodus 20
Second,
Not all trumpet were Rams horns and should not be inferred to be only rams horns.
God gave directions on what kind of trumpets to make and what the different sounds and blasts should signify. Numbers 10.1-10
Numbers 10.2
Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.
So the trumpet the seventh angel sounded would have been the seventh trumpet blown and it would be the last trump. OK, I think I got it.

Awesome and good to see your stand on the last trump stand as it allows all teaching to fall into place and commences the day of the Lord, the day of Christ and the day of God.
1. Day of the Lord as he seizes control over all earthly kingdoms
2. Day of Christ as he resurrects the dead in Christ and changes those who are alive and remain and calls them up to heaven
3. Day of God as he pours out his wrath upon the unbelieving world under the beast/false prophet of Revelation
A post tribulation pre-wrath snatching away as we are appointed unto tribulation, but not to obtain wrath.
I think the terms are used interchangeably...
1Co 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
NKJV throughout. I've been using the NKJV for a little while now and liking it.

1Co 15:51-54 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
As the above verses demonstrate at the last trump in Cor15:52 “death is swallowed up in victory,” Swallowed up in victory means death is defeated! So let’s go back to1Cor15:24-26 and see what it tells us occurs when death is defeated
1Co 15:24-26 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
The above verses tell us that Christ reigns until the death is defeated and then Christ delivers the kingdom to His Father!
So from the above verses we can see that at the last trumpof 1Cor15:52 death is defeated, Christ’s reign is finished (end of millennium) and Christ delivers the kingdom to His Father. So Let’s take a look at what Scripture tells us about the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] trump of Revelation and see if it is the same trump.
Rev 11:15-18 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
The verses in Revelation tells us it is at this trump when Christ delivers the kingdom to His Father and God reigns forever (not a 1000 years, the millennium is over) and the wicked are judged/destroyed. So unless Christ reigns twice and delivers the kingdom to His Father twice the last trump of 1Cor15:52 and the 7[SUP]th[/SUP]trump of Revelation must be the same.
Simply put if we believe the Scripture we must recognize that the last trump of 1Cor15:52 and the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] trump of Revelation is the same trump. Or we can ignore what these verses tell us and continue jumping through hoops twisting Scripture in a feeble attempt to defend doctrines that contradict Scripture! The choice is yours folks believe the Scriptures or reject them in favor of doctrines (lise premil or pretrib) that are in error.

Who threads the wine press of God wrath ?
Revelation 19:15Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress ofthe fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
Note after the vine of the earth is reaped it is thread by Jesus not the angels the angels were gathering the vine of the earth and watering it with the judgement of God

Aw, I messed up here. I meant to quote the KJV for this...
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Here is where the words seem to be interchangeable. Sorry for any confusion.
*[[1Th 4:16]] KJV* For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
it is clear that it is the trump of God, maybe the question is: if the trumpets were given to the angels in Rev 8:2, who had the trumpets before they were given to angels to sound?
The wrath of God is announced as here at the sounding of the 7th trump in Revelation, which commences the viols or bowls of God's wrath that will be poured out upon the unbelieving world that has rejected the call to worship God and in rebellion have taken the mark of the beast. God shall send strong delusion that they should believe "the" lie that they ALL might be dammed because they would not RECEIVE THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH.
The rewarding of the Saints for the things they have done as found in Corinthians. Some have works of wood, hay and stubble I.E. saved "yet so as by fire" and then there are those who's work is of gold, silver and precious stones I.E. saved with a multitude of righteous works.
