Again, another false characterization. We do not mock and ridicule the sabbath. I personally do mock and ridicule the teaching that GOD's children are under bondage to the law of Moses (which includes the requirement to observe the sabbath).
If the Ten Commandments are Moses' Law, why were they spoken by the One who became Jesus Christ and written with His finger?

Exo 20:1 And God spoke all these words, saying:
Exo 20:2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Exo 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before Me.

If this were really Moses talking, why did the people say this?

Exo 20:18 Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off.
Exo 20:19 Then they said to Moses, "You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die."

And who wrote the Ten Commandments?

Exo 31:18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

You can call them a space shuttle if you wish, but they still remain the Ten Commandments of Almighty God.

Just simply answer my question. We all know the law is embedded in Christ, He is the only 100% righteous one.
so because we are not perfect we cast aside all Instruction and we are free from the Father?

I have been set free in a different matter

Zecharyah 7:7-13, "Were not these words of Yahweh proclaimed by the former prophets, when Yerusalem was inhabited and successful, with her villages surrounding her, when men inhabited the South; Negev, and the lowland; western foothills? And the word of Yahweh came to Zecharyah, saying: This is what Yahweh of hosts says! Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassion, everyone to his brother. Do not oppress the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor. Let none of you imagine; think or devise, evil in your heart against your brother. But they refused to pay any attention--they turned a stubborn shoulder, and they stopped their ears so they would not be able to hear. Yes, they made their hearts like a hard adamant stone, in order not to hear the Law and the words, which Yahweh of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Therefore, great wrath came from Yahweh of hosts. Just as I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear, says Yahweh of hosts!"

Here is what is said of the carnal mind

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

It simply says it is the CARNAL mind that is not subject to God's Law.
Keep reading:

and those who are in the flesh are not able to please God. Romans 8:8

Without faith it is impossible to please GOD.

Now without faith it is impossible to please [GOD], for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and is a rewarder of those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6

And works of law are not faith.

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16

Therefore, those who try to be justified through works of law are in the flesh (carnal).

Yet somehow you believe that your works will justify you before GOD.

When Jesus declared what the greatest two commandments are, he didn't even mention one of the 10.

When Jesus declared what the greatest two commandments are, he didn't even mention one of the 10.
For probably the 20th times over the past couple months, He made it very clear that all the Law depends on there 2, these arent the ONLY Commandments but the greatest, that is why He said, "This is the first and greatest commandment" and if you lok at the prior verse, the question is WHAT IS THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT, not the only.

Mattithyah 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your hneighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

As if that was not sufficient Shaul clearly holds this same view:

Romans 13:9-10, "For this, “YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law"

The instruction from our Father is to put our rest in Christ. Not pick one special day to do this, but to do it every day. You have chosen to cherry pick your best verses to make your single point, without looking at context and the deeper meaning or point the Author is trying to convey.

so you focus and do the will of Yahweh 100% every single day?

that is impossible, do you work, cook food, work out, play sports, watch TV, etc?

Isayah 8:20, "To the Law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."

Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with those who forsook her seed; her seed being those who keep the Laws of Yahweh, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah."

Revelation 14:12, "In this manner are the saints purified--by keeping the Laws of Yahweh, in conformity with the faith in Yahshua Messiah."

Seems those of Yahweh are not free from His Law, but actually they love it and dont consider it a burden:

Yeremyah 31:33, "After those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; minds, and I will be their Father, and they will be My people."
8451. torah - torah: direction, instruction, law Original Word: תּוֹרָה Part of Speech: Noun Feminine Transliteration: torah
Phonetic Spelling: (to-raw') Short Definition: law

1 Yahchanan 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yahweh: When we love Yahweh by keeping His Laws. For this is the love of Yahweh: That we keep His Law, and His Law is not grievous."

Leviticus 25:4 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]But in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest unto the land, a Sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

This is perfect example of the Sabbath being observed correctly. This gives the land time to incorporate the nutrients given to it during the previous 6 years. All vegetation plowed under becomes part of the original soil. One can take into consideration the parable of the sower and the seed. Resting on what the soil has become in those 6 years enriches it. Even some seeds from previous years will germinate, but are not to be harvested or eaten. The beginning of the next year I am letting my garden rest as the law says. The reason I do this is not just because it's the law. I we continue to do this because as in years past, and at the beginning of the next 6 years, I have never had a better garden than the first year after the Sabbath year. I have had broccoli heads 12 to 16 inches in diameter, and tomatoes that weighed 2 pounds. Granted, the soil needs refuse, garbage, and compost, and they all stink. All of that becomes soil in the end, and then is fit to receive the seed of truth, and produce 50 or 100 fold. But isn't this parable the way life really is? Even so, observing a Sabbath, whether years or days, gives one the right heart toward God, and is to our benefit in His sight.

Isaiah 56:1-2 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Mark 2:27-28 (KJV)
[SUP]27 [/SUP]And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
You don’t plow in the crap of the world on the Sabbath. Let your heart rest, and take advantage of this that is given, rather than dispute about it adding more refuse to the subject at hand.

BTW, and praise Yah or this, fields that are given every 7th year off, maintained their nutrient content for the 50+ years the study was done, fields that didnt get rest went from 40 something micrograms of magnesium to 6-8 micrograms of magnesium in that same time.

Seems the Creator knows His creation!

Sabbath year and weekly Sabbath are 2 different things
The same principles apply for both. A week of years, or a week of days are all spiritually the same. There is only one word in the Bible for that, and it means much more than Saturday or Sunday in the Gregorian Calendar.

Leviticus 25:4 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]But in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest unto the land, a Sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

Exodus 16:25-26 (KJV)
[SUP]25 [/SUP]And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.

None of us know what day this is, it's just the day after the 6th day, or the year after the 6th year

Is not the heart the ground? And do we not include the heart in every Sabbath day? It's just like chemical fertilizers, they eventually ruin the ground. Can't sustain with something that's fake.

actually through astronomy, NOT astrology! one can accurately track the cycles, and also we do know that since the days of Messiah the 7 day cycle has kept, if He did not feel a need to adjust it who am I to?

about the Sabbath year you may be right, there are those who claim to know it but to be honest I have never farmed so I haven't looked into it deeply, if I ever farm I will inquire.

When a farmer plants his first crop, that is the first year of the seven, and the seventh year is the Sabbath year. It's not a Sunday year, or a Saturday year. It's just the first year and all the neighbors might have different first years in the course of a seven-year cycle. There would be a field resting every year in the neighborhood. I was raised on a farm.

I don't think for a minute that Saturday is not the Sabbath. I just think we all need to open up our thoughts with more humility.

youmay be right on the Sabbath year thing, I dont know alot about it, but that whatever year I satrt may just be tradition, IDK if its true, but I heard there is a cycle, and since there is a "jubilee" year this MAY be correct, I always thought it to be, but again have not deeply studied THIS matter so I cant say either way.

none the less thank you!

In terms of Christian doctrine, SDA or Hebrew roots will cover most of the sabbath keepers. In terms of law keeping that is a distinction without a difference because they both believe they are still under the law of Moses.
For those whom God has revealed that there is no division between Israel and the church, that ALL Israel is to be saved, and the two houses (Israel and Judah) are to be restored into ONE KINGDOM and returned to the promised land, we understand Christ sacrifice for "His people". Now, the most important thing to remember is that whoever wants to join Israel, whether native born, lost and returning, or a stranger/sojourner, adopted or grafted in (Romans 11), we are all to abide by One Law, under One God.

Exodus 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Leviticus 7:7 As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.

Numbers 15:16 One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

Numbers 15:29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

God has always provided GRACE and His final sacrifice that paid the debt we owed for "the law of sin and death", Yeshua/Jesus paid for all of us so that we could come back to the covenant, with the newness of providing each of us individually with the Holy Spirit, the one who writes the commandments on our hearts. Without Christ, there can be no future marriage to the bride/Israel/church.

Now, one more time, I don't want anyone to be confused when I speak of "His people Israel". Because the invitation to join Israel is for the whole world. Christ died for the whole world. The testimony of Christ and the keeping of the commandments is how you know that you have God the Father and Christ the Son.

To those who have belief (and some very strong belief) that the law is bad and to desire to follow any of it will put you in Hell, I say to each his own until judgment day. I have love, joy and peace. I have endurance to keep to the course until the very end. I have patience in sharing the gospel of Christ, that is the gospel Christ preached, the Kingdom of God/Heaven is coming. The Kingdom that restores the house of Israel and the house of Judah (including all those who choose to join this commonwealth).

It's not a tradition. I grow a garden and use the same principle. I works all the time. I eat vegetables and my wife cans them. No chemicals or anything, and as small a plot as we have, we can 150 to 160 quarts of vegetables, and juices each year accept the Sabbath year, but we have enough to sustain us during that time. It’s the same as the manna, and the same as the famine during Joseph’s days. With that said, seven is the number that works all the time in everything. I say WOW!
