Did you know that there are Two Jesus ?
If you do not know that, your hurting for truth. ( Amos 8:11 kjv )
if you think there are two Christs,
then the words of the prophet truly are fulfilled in you!

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
(Amos 8:11-12)

do you give such little reverence to the name, that you would call the spirit of the antichrist one and the same with the one true and living God?

gismys, your statement just below doesn't say that we will know the "day" or "hour", and "making ourselves ready" has nothing to do with knowing the "date" or "hour" which is what the person who created this particular thread was asking. The person asked When will Christ return...

These are the words of the Holy Bible and the facts of this "case", and they are undisputed.

Jesus DID, however say the following:

Mathew 24:36
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

Matthew 24:42 “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

Matthew 24:43
"But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.

Matthew 24:44
“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Additionally you should not use all caps to type every message. in Chat room etiquette, it's considered rude.

READ YOUR BIBLE!!!! JESUS SAY WE WILL NOT KNOW THE HOUR OR DAY OF HIS RETURN BUT THEN JESUS SAYS BELIEVERS WILL KNOW WHEN HE IS AT THE DOOR AND WILL NOT BE SURPRIZED!!! BUT YOU???

Maybe it helps the guy see what hes writing better, i won't say his name if what my discernment tells me what it says i don't want to say it. maybe his cap tab is stuck, i'm not sure. If his name says what i think it says, i think it would be a nice gesture for him to change it.

YES!!! GOD'S WORD SAYS BELIEVERS ""WILL"" KNOW WHEN JESUS IS AT THE DOOR READY TO RETURN!!! AND THAT TIME IS NOW!!!!===First Thessalonians 5:1-11
[SUP]1[/SUP]But of the times and seasons, my brothers, you have no need that I
should write to you.
[SUP]2[/SUP]For you yourselves know perfectly well that the
day of master comes like a thief in the night.
[SUP]3[/SUP]For when they will say, Peace and tranquility;
then sudden destruction will come on them, as travail on a pregnant woman; and
they will not escape.
[SUP]4[/SUP]But you, my brothers, are not in darkness, that
that day will overtake you as a thief.
[SUP]5[/SUP]You are
all the sons of light and the sons of the day; and you
are not the sons of the night, nor the sons of
darkness

when will Jesus return? when we are ready, i believe.
Hmmm...

Matthew 24:37-44
For as the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and they knew nothing until the flood came and swept them all away, so too will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. Two women will be grinding meal together; one will be taken and one will be left. Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what dayyour Lord is coming. But understand this: if the owner of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour.

Revelation 16:15
(“See, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and is clothed, not going about naked and exposed to shame.”)

True, no one knows the day or the hour, yet we read this account...

Mat 24:3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you.

First thing to note here is that Jesus did not rebuke His disciples for asking. Secondly, He gave them some answers...

Mat 24:15 "Therefore when you see the 'ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand),
Mat 24:16 "then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
Mat 24:17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house.
Mat 24:18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.
Mat 24:19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!
Mat 24:20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
Mat 24:21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

From other scriptures, we can determine the Great Tribulation lasts 3-1/2 years, 42 months or time, times and half a time. So when we see the AoD we know we are 1260 days from the return. Do we know this exactly? No, we can determine this time within three days. So we still do not know the day or hour, but can determine the approximate time which is what Christ says here...

Mat 24:32 "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.

We are not left without a clue, but we are not able to know the day or the hour.

Hey fellow Christians and adults in this thread.
I don't have time to read every post and see who started what, and chances are this fighting started by someone saying something totally benign and it got interpreted by someone wrongly and then it escalated.

Regardless, from this point on I'm out asking the fellow Christians and adults to please act like Christians and adults.

Thanks.

If things are getting heated, then step away, drink some calming tea, or even close the browser.
Then once calm and collected, and ready to act like a Christian and adult, come back and engage in the discussion.
Thanks.

JESUS HAS VERY STRONG WORDS AGAINST THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS(PHARISEES) MATTHEW 23===23 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
[SUP]3 [/SUP]All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
[SUP]6 [/SUP]And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
[SUP]7 [/SUP]And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
[SUP]18 [/SUP]And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
[SUP]30 [/SUP]And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
[SUP]31 [/SUP]Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
[SUP]32 [/SUP]Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
[SUP]33 [/SUP]Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

[h=3]Romans 15:5[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]5 [/SUP]Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

[h=3]James 5:7[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]7 [/SUP]Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
