If any religion should bring people or attempt to bring people to God where is the problem? If they are sending people to some other so-called god then have a problem, the problem is not the Catholics. We should'nt make judgement on things we don't understand. Understand what they do first before questioning their righteousness if you feel you need to question at all.

The problem with hail marry's is that (and this could just be from the common idea of Catholicism so correct me if I'm wrong) you believe if I do X amount, then I'm forgiven. That isn't true. Confession of your sins to God, not your pastor or priest or bishop, but to God is all you need to be forgiven. Look at David and Bathsheba. Look at any scripture talking about forgiveness. Where in there does it say to do hail marrys. No where.
I don't know the Catholic faith but I know they have the Hail Mary prayer which some Christians have an issue with, from my point of view as a Christian, Mary was the mother of Jesus. Should the woman who brought him into this world and raised him not be acknowledged? She did after all risk a lot to bring him into this world for God, maybe we should all follow example for a minute and give thanks unto Mary for bearing and raising and loving her son our saviour. Joseph also played a very important role. How could we even be without our parents? Perhaps I will give thanks to them tonight for bringing our saviour Jesus Christ in to this world to do what he has done for us. For obeying God and doing as he willed, it would have been difficult in those days to be pregnant and not wed, or to marry a pregnant woman yet Joseph done as he was asked to of God and here we are now in 2014 speaking of these things from so long ago. So I will thank Mary and Joseph because without their co-operation we would not be offered salvation. They suffered some things no parents should ever have to, for their son to be tortured and crucified would have broken their hearts. I can't imagine the pain Mary suffered as her son was crucified, I think she is more than deserving of her Hail Mary!
Hmm, I'm not convinced that my thinking according to what you said is incorrect; I'm thinking you may not understand what the definition of quarantine is. I'm not saying that purgatory is hell but consider this: A part of my job at work is to receipt in and organise stock that is faulty/damaged or not quite right according to standard. This stock is set aside from the rest when it comes in and awaits to be actioned whether that be scrapping/modifying or repairing. Now to me that sounds a lot like purgatory, imagine this, a soul is approaching heaven, it has sin, it is stopped from entering heaven and is detained for cleansing, so you say. So how is that any different from my quarantine at work?@Breno785au

We are all guilty of being divided...that is why things are as bad as they are now because we are divided...the body of Christ is suffering because of our denominational divide...It's over petty things as well...which is sad

It basically says Jesus death was not good enough to pay for all of our sins which is ridiculous. Praying to Mary, Through Mary...whatever, that is just insane and undermining God and who he is.

There is a difference between acknowledging, and praying to her. To acknowledge her is to be like "Yeah she is important" to pray to her is unbiblcal.

Even if they pray to Mary, even if it is considered unbiblical to the Christian religion, every religion has it's flaws in the eyes of other religions, but what flaws have they in the eyes of God? No-one knows, judgement will be to his discretion. Why do we bother judging so much here? As far as I see there is more good than not in the Catholic Faith because like Christians they too are attempting to bring people to God. Not every Christian who reads and abides by the Bible finds God but there are few who do, and not every Catholic would find him either, but few do, and those who do find God would at the most likely not be judging each other but all would speak truth and righteousness will be in them.
The best way to describe this is religious but lost. Catholics are very religious but not according to the knowledge of God. Salvation is by grace received through faith not by rites and sacraments. We are saved when we hear Gods word and the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, righteousness and judgment. There are no works we can do to become saved and no works we can do to remain saved. The Catholic church and the pope teach a false gospel.

That is an inaccurate description.
Note that Purgatory is not a place for people to be forgiven. The souls in Purgatory are already saved. They already chose God in their earthly life, and so are already destined to enter the Kingdom of God.
Purgatory is a place of purification, not forgiveness. Keep in mind that none can enter Heaven if their souls are stained with even a tiny bit of sin.If Purgatory didn't exist, than so many poor souls will be dammed for their small sins.
Purgatory is a perfect example of God's infinite mercy; saying that it is a demonic doctrine is unreasonable.
I'm not seeing the word "purgatory" or even the concept in my Bible. And yes, I have a copy of a Catholic Bible and I didn't see it there, either.
Please quote the passage that says we go to purgatory, for any reason. Talk about made up stuff by the Catholic Church to make people buy masses for the dead.
My grandmother lived in France in WWI. She said the priests would go door to door, when the children were starving, and threaten the parents that their parents and/or grandparents would be in purgatory forever if they didn't give money to the priests, instead of buying food for their children with what little they had. She closed the door on all religion forever, sadly after witnessing that.
The Catholic Church is the richest corporation in the world. Surely they didn't need to do that to families living on the German front line? Maybe they could have sold the golden doors on the Vatican, and distributed food to the needy in that war, instead?
Mary is just a human. And even if she supposedly was raised to heaven, she would still be a person. How could she hear those millions of rosaries, and even know what the people wanted. Unless you deify Mary, she is unable to do the job you Catholics give her to do - to hear and answer prayer by "persuading" her Son to do it. Why not just pray to Jesus, who is the intercessor? Talk about a confused religion.
Sorry if that sounds anti-Catholic, just pointing out a few flaws with Catholic doctrine. Feel free to argue back using Scriptures, please!
Why make a big fuss over mary. its just like saying 'oh holy michael and gabriel exalted above all other angels plead my cause before the throne of grace'. which wont make sense becus we r exalted above them. And it wont make sense too in the case of mary since she isnt above u. only God is above man not mary or paul or peter or moses etc.

The reason that Mary is such an issue is because to pray to her is putting her on God's level. That is an idol, and God HATES worship to idols, even if that idol followed him.
As far as I understand, purgatory was a place made up so that the Catholic church could further deceive people into believing that they could pay their dead relatives through into heaven, called indulgences. If I am wrong to think they didnt use purgatory for this reason against their people then please tell me.
It had been many yrs since I had been to a Catholic mass when I went to a relative's daughter's 1st communion last spring and I had almost forgotten how truly horrible it is. I brought my 2 boys (16 and 14) who knew no Church other than our Holy Spirit filled Non-denom. Where the love, grace, message, and heart-felt Worship is almost palpable.
I don't know what was worse, those there with their time-cards in hand to prove that they had indeed attended church that week, dying of a combination of boredom, guilt, and mis-behaving kids, or the ones who were a split-second quicker than the Priest delivering the centuries old rote instructions to stand, kneel, or MINDLESSLY recite something, who, after piously receiving their host, knew the exact amount of time they should spend kneeling before allowing themselves to sit upright.
My boys were almost in shock, my wife didn't feel well, and we wanted to leave a few minutes before it was over only to be met by the most angry woman church attendant I'd ever seen, (and I went 8 yrs to Catholic grammar school and had 6 or 7 nun teachers) who literally barked at us that no one could leave til it was over, and held her hands out preventing us from going.
My soul ached knowing that so many of my relatives were still chained to this misery.
This isn't about putting people down or insulting a belief. This is about freeing people and telling them the truth of the Gospel.
I would beseech everyone, especially Catholics who are more interested in defending this mockery of Jesus than investigating the truth, to research this church, and THEN make an informed decision about it.
With the internet it is not hard to find out about it.

That is weird as I watched a whole group of Catholics fall all over themselves to view and kiss a glass case with a fragment of bone (so called bone from Peter) and then weep and wail like they had witnessed the throne room of God himself. Sorry, but to pray to statues, weeping pictures of Mary, bone fragments and a mere man in a white suit qualifies as idolatry in my book!
