I believe so. I also believe he Has lessons for us to learn in the mean time. Places He wants us to go before we end up with the person we spend the rest of our life with. Sometimes obedience is required over what we want/focus on.

God works in mysterious ways. The time will come! Look at David in the bible. When he was young and herded sheep, he felt confused on what his plan was. (as written in one of his psalms) After some patience, he became king of Israel! Thats quite a plan :D

I feel if you wait and keep looking, you will find the perfect guy!

Usually they r dead end because u haven't waited on God..only He knows the hearts of humanity..our salvation hinges on everything we do...so when God gives u a man....it will b someone who will help u in ur spiritual walk with God. God has to clean u up first...understanding what love is...not of the flesh..but the principle of Love.

Does it now? I'm not sure what Bible you're reading.

Rin-A-Tin-Tin.....ur question is vague....Does it now?...Please explain.
It's not vague at all.

You said our salvation hinges upon works.

Isaiah 64:6
[SUP]6 [/SUP]But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

All our works are as soiled rags. The soiled rags in that passage are not just rags, they are (in modern colloquialism) tampons.

Thank you, mate!

Also, Sabbath. Please don't call me Rin-Tin-Tin. If I have the username Tintin, it's because of the Belgian reporter/detective comic character from 1929 onwards, not the dog with an entirely different name. Cheers.

Actually our salvation hinges on nothing we do. What needed to be done was done at the cross.

Also
Titus 3:5.. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

I don't know what bible you are reading, but works do not save you. That's false doctrine. Christians are only supposed to believe the bible not man made traditions. Ephesians 2:8-9 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of god. Not of works, lest anyone should boast. You need to study these verses. May god bless you and have a nice day. Preacha 24_7

[h=3]Proverbs 3:5-6[/h]
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
[SUP]6 [/SUP]in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Please don't give up hope. Sounds like you are hurting right now. Some of us are in the same boat. We hope and it doesn't work. We wonder why.

Maybe it's better to ask Him what He wanted us to learn from it. Ask Him what purpose it was to serve in our lives. When I do this, I often find it was an Ishmael in my life. Something I wanted, not something God wanted for me. As much as I may be disappointed, as much as it may hurt for a time, I still want His best for me. I pray God's best for you too.

i think as Christians were not supposed to be in relations of that kind we are meant to be chaste no sex before marriage please don't take this the wrong way but if you a true believer looking for a HUSBAND you could probably benefit
from some council and guidance from older woman in your church to find out what the will of God is and how a Christian woman should carry herself also no more sheets is a good book you can watch the preaching on youtube

Just forget about relationships, that is what I'm doing. Because whenever I show interest in anyone they act like I'm a desperate weirdo.

well i think theres no mistake of being single. many times we cant understand whats GOD plan. sometime what we see is good not good in His mind. so, i always believe we should use the time that GOD has given to us wisely to do His work in any field we are in like in our job and society. wait in patient n faith and see what God wants to our life amen :D

My brother in law didn't marry my sister until he was 44...maybe you can count down the days?

I go through phases. I always want a girlfriend, and always enjoy being single at the same time, but one is sometimes stronger than the other, so when I don't have my kids I sit and play Skyrim all day, and listen to some Death, and think to myself, I could never do this with a girlfriend yapping in my ear, so I might as well do it in my underwear, AND I'm going to stop there.

I aint waiting that long. that would put me 44 years single. and if I am going to go 44 years single I might as well just die single. that is if I even make it that long..
