In Proverbs it says "In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality." You know As Human beings we can never fathom what it will be like when we come to earth. As young ones we think we can conquer all and take the earth by storm but yet we can't even conquer ourselves and our sinful nature. That is if we live by Human Nature, But there is another Nature we can live by. The Righteous Nature of God. Impossible to live by? Impossible to be perfect maybe but it doesn't mean you can't strive to be so.
Now let me be clear there is only one person that ever lived that Perfect Righteous Nature of God and His name is Jesus Christ. He set the model and standard on how we are to live by. You may ask, Can we live this Righteous Nature and live it Perfectly? We can certainly live it, we may not be perfect in it but we can strive to be Perfect in it.
Did you know that in this world today our biggest enemy isn't satan because Jesus defeated him 2000 years ago but is Sinful Our Human Nature? Do you know why we are at constant war with our human nature? It's because we think it's an easier life to live by! And we want things to be nice and easy for us and not face the challenges of living like Christ did! But is it really a challenge to live like Christ did? Remember He said, "My yoke is easy and My burden is light."You see that is the wrong mindset we as Human Beings have had all this time! You may not think it or believe it but it's true! When you Become a Christian and start living the life Christ intended for you and I to live by, it becomes easier and easier for us to put behind Our Sinful Human Nature of the past. And as we do that we can more and more live The Righteous Nature of God.
But it doesn't mean you won't be tested in your walk. Does it not say in James? "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." Remember we all get tested at some point in our lives from time to time but it doesn't mean we walk away and give up striving to be Christlike! We must push through this and we conquer our human nature through Jesus Christ and when we do that we will then start acting like and becoming more like Christ each day in our daily walk with Him. That's when we start living The Christ Nature!
In Closing here is the verse from Proverbs we began with in this blog "In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality." Remember that my friends. Be Blessed.
