But these men didn't sin. The woman did. Also in the example these men are being saved, so they probably didn't know, and didn't follow the word prior. I agree if we partake in sin even if we don't literally do it that we are sinning. I don't look at these men as taking part though. Literally they are, but in their hearts they aren't. In their heart's they are learning about God.

yes i agree with that...

but ask yourself this... if one is truly holy spirit filled dear brother...

do you think god would keep you there in the filth or would god move you with his mighty hands?

think about it dear brother.

god bless

dear brother tucksma.

god has ordained this day would be as so... many rejecting god's holy truth... and would rather compromise with the world.

makes me sad and my heart breaks for them... i love them all dearly as my own family.

i don't judge them nor condemn them... god's holy word does that.

god bless
I just wanna know how she sees those verses that show that women shouldn't teach or be in a teaching position in the church. I don't want to condemn her because I know that bears no fruit, I simply wanna understand her side.

If you choose to make this personal with insults and purposeful disrespect, I can give you my phone number. That would allow you to say what you really want to. Send me an IM and I will oblige.

You have the most disrespectful mouth I have heard in a while. I quote God's word, and only God's word, and you start pointing the finger at me? Clearly, as Christ said, there are many antichrists around.
You strongly encourage me? Really? And who are you?

Then stop hindering Him and trying to pervert His word.
Again, you like to judge, philly, and, that's your prerogative, it's not His, though, I strongly suggest that you stop, for your own sake, as, "He disciplines His own," Scripture tells us.

--------------
I haven't said one thing disrespectful to you, philly, only speaking what you need to hear, and, yes, the Lord leads, and, yes, for some (you especially), the Truth is going to hurt, sometimes.

Quit bashing women, quit thinking that you're understanding God's will in a woman's life without knowing God's thoughts or mind. Yes, Scripture is clear, that women are not to preach or teach authority over men, but, I think, we can agree that God, sometimes, does things different than man's mind can fathom .

As I said, there are situations where God brings a woman to pastor a church, and, just because God says in Scripture that Paul "suffers" not a woman to preach or teach over a man but to be silent it don't mean that God can't do it. He can do anything well He pleases. And, furthermore, He does.

So, what. So you, tucksmama, and, some others want to keep your stance on a woman never pastoring men. Fine. Go for it. But, don't tell me those kind of chauvinistic ways, because that's not love and I'm not listening to anything that I'm not led to believe by Him; it will be said in love. And, what you say is NOT love and that's not even going to be given a nanosecond of listen to by me.

You talk down to me much more, a.k.a. 'condescend' and what you think has been 'disrespectful' (which has not, you're just not understanding the Truth correctly, bro) will become even more so discplinary toward you as i'm led to speak. Maybe, it's best you just stop speaking in this thread :)

YOu think. The Lord leads. I would give serious prayer consideration to your constant disrespect (speaking of 'that' word) to women here and let the Lord identify/show you where your judging is leading you down a path He's not leading :)

yes... i do understand dear brother tucksma.

and i applaud you among many who would rather attack and demeanor.

god bless you dear brother.

What a mess this thread is "bite and devour" one another comes to mind. This is what the religion & the doctrines of men do to Christians, gives us a certain influencing spirit of offence & pride, self idolatry. Christian freedom, "all things*are lawful for me,*but all things*are*not expedient" biblical fornication is false worship, it is Idolatry. God is not the god of denominational religion.

Amen Phil! GreenNice you need to learn some respect.

How so?

Lol not. You've been very rude to him. "The truth hurts. Yeah we agree on that. That's why we are saying what we are cause it needs to be said, because it is the truth. It is out of love that we say it, because what is more loving then trying to have people follow Christ better?

And if you don't wanna hear it get off of a thread that is about women preaching.

remember Philips daughters ? They were teachers of God's word. Its also written God is not a respecter of persons.

And remember all those buildings, and wonderful things all the preachers are doing just before Christ return ? What dose Christ say to them ? So, if you have a woman, teaching all God's words then He is going to use that person, He's going to use whoever He wants.

Specially if she can teach all, of God's words, thus saith the Lord.

Things you have stated that are disrespectful.

1. "mamastucksboy"
2."DISOBEDIENCE TO God's Word, philly? LOL, really, bro. Who died and made you God?"
3.
Phill, don't be naive, bro

That's just from one message.

I know many will use Deborah as an example however the Lord used an ass too. However, that is not his norm. He usually chooses men to lead. He uses woman as help meets. I know that the age of woman and hear me roar is a modern theme. I don't believe he gave the same callings to men and women.

This will soon be over and their will be the only the Lord and the bride. We don't have much longer folks. I am happy to let a man be a man a woman a woman a child a child, and an animal an animal. All things fitly joined together.

Do you have verses to support your claims? Asking out of curiosity not trying to say you don't.

That's not disrespectful, tucksmama, that's the truth. The Lord leads. But, if he wants to make accusations and define 'disrespect' wrongly and attach it to me, then, perhaps, the Lord is speaking to his heart to take a break .

Out of all those words you just posted, bro, not one I said is disrespectful to philly, however, those words are the truth of the Truth. The Word is God is The Truth and it's the bible and the way He does things is different than ourselves. IF Angela says she is called by God to pastor, far be it from me to tell her that God didn't call her to do it, I DON'T KNOW THAT and I believe God is using Ang either way.

So, you want to talk disrespectful, that was the disrespectful thing, what philly said of a woman who could be called by the Holy Spirit to preach and teach men in a church in bible times or nowaday times. Sure, God can. I pointed that out. Let's not be naive, LOL. :)

Philly said, "He didn't do (use women as pastors) ever in the bible times and he doesn't do it real life either."

I could be a bit off on the quote but it's semantics, if anything, that's what he said, and, he's welcome to refute that if he wants.

the thing about me is straight disrespect. The things about becoming god is disrespect to Phil. Calling him Philly is even sort of disrespectful.

The "truth" is the bible. We have been using the bible to support what we have said. You seem to be using perception of the world, not verses from the bible. So lets put you to the test. Show us a verse that supports your side please :)

No.

1. I nick everyone, and, you are in 'blue,' which tells me you are a guy, but you say you are tuck's ma? Anyway, unless you are impersonating someone then you have your username wrong. If you're a guy you should be mastuck, right. Hence, I said you are mamastuckboy and it's not disrespectful in the slightest. I already said that I nic everyone on c.c. so..... :)

2. that's right. Who are we to say knows God's thoughts and mind? We don't. But, 1 Cor. 2 does tell us WE do have the 'mind of Christ,' but, it's still not God's thoughts. And, yes, I believe in God, Son, Holy Spirit, is One if you were asking. :)

3. That's right. don't be naive, God IS using women as pastor today. You said youself that God CAN use a woman to pastor, just not very often, because more often than not a man will be 'available,' . :)

I speak in love to all, I'm saying my feelings on this and if you want to be divisive or manipulate God's will into your own way of thinking, go for it, but,. that's not how I'm led to do things. God bless you, bro, for your passion for serving Him. I wish I was so adamant of my doctrine belief at age 17. :)

1. Its a mix of my last and first name dude. Its disrespectful and demeaning.
2. I agree with your point, but you are saying Phil is doing that, which he isn't because he uses scripture to prove his points. Scripture is God's word, so he is basing his faith of off God, not becoming or claiming to be God.
3. How do you know God is using them? Maybe they think they are called, but are not. God's word doesn't support, in fact is against, women teaching, so why are you for it if God is against it. I can say God is against it because he says he is in the bible.

like i said... god's own holy word says all this and yet many reject god's holy word that's right in front of them... and would rather live in sin... believing they are living righteously.

1 corinthians 14:33-36
[SUP]33 [/SUP]For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
[SUP]34 [/SUP]Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
[SUP]35 [/SUP]And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
[SUP]36 [/SUP]What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

god cannot honor those who go against god's holy word... and those who follow are partakers of that same sin as well... right along with that sinner.

So what do you know about Corinth? How about the Greek culture? This is not a universal command. It is directed to a specific church, which had many problems, and Paul had to write them 4 times to try and solve their issues. (Two letters have been lost!)

I suggest you learn about context, about culture and history, before you start misquoting verses at me.

I honor God's Word in my life. But I do not honor arrogant men who have not studied, and take verses out of context to keep the gospel from being preached!

How so?

My name is Phil, not philly, and I have told you that. You insist on it, and that is rude, disrespectful, and childish. You may be green, but you are a long way from nice.
I quote the bible and accuse me of usurping God's authority. That is not only rude and a lie, it is sacrilegious.
You take pleasure in arguing and totally and completely disregarding scripture to do it.
That is rude and disrespectful.
You asked me to show you what I have just typed, when you already knew it.
That is rude and disrespectful.

phillips daughters were not preachers... so lets clear that up first brothers.

acts 21:8-9
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

so we see in verse 8 that phillip was the preacher.

and in verse 9 the 4 daughters prophesied... which is way different than preaching/ ministering/ pastoring/ etc...

also verse 9 for... which did prophesy... is referenced to joel 2:28.

joel 2:28-29
[SUP]28 [/SUP]And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
[SUP]29 [/SUP]And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

and this is a shadow of end of days when god returns back to the jews.

god bless
