Yes the good ole days when we had books. Of course these days with my weaker eyesight giant monitors with huge blown up fonts have won me over. :)

Fearing God Alone…27"What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops. 28"Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell
well you should probably learn a measure of respect for the devil, you never know God might even let him teach you a lesson about arrogance.

we are only told to resist the devil, not make boastful threats that can't be backed up, so maybe remove it from your sig. unless you don't have the maturity to.

Through the baptism of the Holy Spirit we are subdued with power from the Father directly to heal the sick cast out demons and much more , one is receiving the baptism along with a clean living according to the Word , two a prayer life in both discernment prayer meaning using your own words through lip in full belief along with knowledge of scripture the more learned the better , prayer prayed in full belief is very important especially whenaaccompanied with scripture ,always with the Lord Jesus name in every request and command in all manner of duplication the second form of prayer is the spirit prayer when the believer speaks in tongues the spirit intercedes for the believer and searches the heart transforming it renewing the soul edifying the believer in spirit , later on to show , now spirit prayer along with fasting is a mega plus once I fasted in several occasions once 3 days no human contact just God and I and my bible then on other occasions 7 days 21 days I even done 40 days but every time I was subdued with power or given a different gifting , I have been liberated through the spirit prayer thanks be to Jesus , once this formula has been implemented youlle be ready to heal cast out demons gets I cast out so many devils even stopped death upon many people but to correct myself not I but God.

there's nothing humble about you, just alot of bragging, of course this the internet, anyone can make stories of fasting for 40 days and casting out demons and saving lives.

No bragging I'm just stating truth for others to seek truth in fact try fasting and praying in the spirit , live a consecrated life ,and you will see the reward , you will see the developing of the spiritual side you will see miracles and much more , I was giving testimony and illustrating steps and measuresvtaken to get there no bragging as you state but I urge you brother do not look according to the flesh instead see through God's Holy Spirit

Rather maybe seek conformity in Christ's death and maybe:
[h=3]Philippians 3:10-11[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]10 [/SUP]that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; [SUP]11 [/SUP]if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Thank you, so that you do not get buffeted by Satan
[h=3]2 Corinthians 12:7
[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]7 [/SUP]And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

In order to keep us humble:

[h=3]Micah 6:7-8
[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]7 [/SUP]Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams,
or with ten thousands of rivers of oil?
shall I give my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
[SUP]8 [/SUP]He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God?

Maybe ask God for this imputation and see if God permit

We are:
Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Maybe ask God for this imputation and see if God permit
I was taght that method by my old mentor yiye avila an evangelist he taught me how to unlock the giftings and develop them i learned proper technique to prayer to edification to operate in the giftings but rather than focus on the giftings i sought to walk in the spirit but still developed the skills God gave me

We live in a very small place, and there is an immense quantity of knowledge 'out there'. Most people only speak one or two languages though there are thousands. I think that since we don't know much about earthly things, we should be extremely humble when approaching spiritual things-- a realm that's altogether different from what we're used to. The passage that says Jesus gives us 'all authority' needs to be considered in context first (who He said it to at the time) and then needs to be compared with history and the average Christian experience. We don't have all authority over satan because we are Christians; we have access to all authority when we are Christians. However, as it was from the OT to the NT (seen best in Jesus who said He did only what He saw the Father doing (and so was always successful-- i.e. had all authority over satan and his works)), it isn't title or 'state of being' that gives 'all authority' but righteousness or a right walk before God. The more righteous a Christian is, the more authority he will have. It was this way with Jesus, very God Himself; it cannot be different for us who simply happen to be 'followers of Christ'. We aren't "given this power" at all; rather, this power is made available to us. It is a life or walk of righteousness that unlocks this power and authority (remember, authority means 'right of way'-- something you can't wisely give to just anyone); it is not being Christian, otherwise the whole world may have been healed by now with so many Christians ('with all authority') in it. Spiritual power (the ability to effect things so that others can clearly see the effects) always comes from righteousness, and God is able to entrust spiritual authority (right of way, right to make things happen, right to command and have it done) to people who are righteous. I believe no one would give right of way to little children or those they don't trust. God is wiser still.

Well put, and is this passage of scripture I put below true for God's followers today or just then?
[h=3]Matthew 10:16-20[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. [SUP]17 [/SUP]But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; [SUP]18 [/SUP]and ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. [SUP]19 [/SUP]But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. [SUP]20 [/SUP]For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Who does the saving us or God through us, in the power of the Spirit of truth? Did not God send us the Holy Spirit of truth to teach us truth over error, in order to do what? Set us free right?

Matthew 10:16-20

Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. [SUP]17 [/SUP]But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; [SUP]18 [/SUP]and ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. [SUP]20 [/SUP]For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

In context, Jesus was specifically saying that to His apostles (therefore, we see it happen just that way in their lives... but rarely in ours); however, it applies to us secondarily if we are in Christ. I've talked to many Christians who don't know how to hear from God and so speak what He is saying. Jesus said that when 'we' stand before others to be judged or on trial, He will give us what to say. We rarely find this happen today; we tend to regurgitate what the Bible says and what we're taught in church when 'witnessing' or 'defending God or the Bible' but rarely know how to hear Him when He is giving us those words He gave primarily to His apostles and then to us (if we listen). The apostles were a listening people; we tend to not be.

Another passage (and there are many) which has been taken out of context is 1Jn. 4:18 which says, "There is no fear in Love, but perfect Love casts out fear because fear has to do with torment. The one who fears has not been made perfect in Love." Some say it means that if you only know how much God loves you, you won't fear. Overall true (apparently, most have no idea as fear rules so many). Others say that if we just love God enough, then we will have no fear. Also overall true (though, again, apparently many don't love God much as many live in fear). But what is the passage saying in context (primarily)? It's primarily about our love for others when empowered by His Love within us (see 1Jn. 3:16-18 for another way John says this). Here's the whole passage to unfold more easily what it is saying in context:

"We know and rely on th
e love God has for us. God is Love. Whoever lives in Love lives in God, and God in them. This is how Love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: in this world we are like Jesus.There is no fear in Love. But perfect Love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in Love" (vv. 16-18, NIV; underlined segment sums it all up).

1Jn. 4:18 in context is primarily and firstly saying that if we love others with God's Love (selfless, genuine, from God directly and not from our soul or of sentiment or good intentions), then without a doubt, we have nothing to fear when we stand before Him at the judgment 'in that Day'. John reasons that this must be so, because God doesn't condemn Himself and so cannot condemn one who dwells (lives) in Love and shares that Love out to others: "in this world, we are like Jesus" if we love with God's Love... and Jesus doesn't condemn Himself and so won't condemn us... therefore we have full assurance of safety or eternal Life and so have no fear of judgment. People who commit crimes of any type (in the home or on the streets; people who know they are in the wrong) are naturally not anxious to stand before any type of judge (cops, judge, neighbors, coworkers, anyone who knows whatever wrong way they live); but people who live right have confidence that they have nothing to fear. This is what it means by saying the one who fears is not made perfect in Love; he is afraid because at least inside him, he knows he has not loved others as he himself wants to be loved. Loving people like this isn't an absolute requirement to be safe from judgment; however, people who love this way know without a doubt that they are safe from judgment. That passage says more than this, as all the words in the Bible are alive and able to 'change', but this is what it is primarily saying. Now, that passage will finally make perfect sense when you go back and read it in this context.

Plain and simple thanks and I see it this way too:
1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us.
1 John 2:2 and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

there's nothing humble about you, just alot of bragging, of course this the internet, anyone can make stories of fasting for 40 days and casting out demons and saving lives.

Please tell me you aren't so ignorant. Does 40 day fast make a person a Christian or better than others? There are Hindus and Buddhists and others who fast forty days and longer. Try to be agreeable. Any moron can disagree with someone. If you don't agree, then ask the person to explain before sharing your opinions. You must live in a Western nation where people think that being hateful makes them superior. Since this is the internet, which you stated that it is, and you seem to have lived at least 33 years, you should be smart enough to acknowledge that you can't determine the intentions or motives of a person's heart in their posts. Save yourself from idiocy, and help save others also. Be patient with people and make yourself different from everyone else.
