No, you just don't know how TO SPELL.

(jk)

(not really)
I think you stand firm for your beliefs.
You have a bit of authority here, I think people respect your statements and your longevity here speaks for that.

But about the spelling.
You are free to comment on my spelling.
You probably dedicate some of your perception to noticing grammatical errors.
Your mind grabs small chunks of information as you are reading and goes "Is this in error?" which you notice if it is in error.
You think that it would be better if people spelled certain things correctly.
You invest time and effort to spread this message.
You moved your fingers, inspired the desire to respond, used thought to craft a message, assumed the role of me to test if the message would be received how you wanted it to be received
You care enough about good spelling that you have given yourself to the cause of pointing out when this or that person makes a spelling error
You work for free to the end of this cause
You worked for my good for free
You wanted to do a good thing for me and you expected nothing in return
You simply pointed out my spelling error in a tone that you use to address yourself
I assume you do unto others as you would want done to you
So when you care about a person enough to correct them, you see them as an equal, and use a tone that you want to be used when you are corrected like that

I'm just stating obvious facts, but that is what I am given to sometimes

Wow. That was blowing things all out of proportion mixed with a bunch of secular happy-ism with not much founded in truth. You didn't spell correctly. She pointed it out. So that you won't do it again. Probably because it irritates her if people spell wrong haha. Some things are simple and don't need to be made more out of than they really are.

You said I blew things out of proportion.
I don't think spelling errors should ever irritate anyone because the meaning is preserved in spite of spelling errors.
I used to be a grammar nazi.

The fact of the matter is this:
She typed something to me.
I was moved to respond, so I did.
You were moved to respond to what I typed, so you did.
I was moved to respond to what you did.

What balance shall we weigh those 4 actions in to discern if they are good or evil?

As for secular happy-ism, I believe that cancer patients have a right to hear someone say "It's going to be okay" even though it's not as long as it numbs the pain they are in.
I look forward to your response and analysis of the errors in the analogy I used because you have been here for a long time and I could learn a few things from you.

And as an aside, she's already a girl I think is incredibly attractive, though I keep myself from expressing it because I am a guy she doesn't find attractive, and I think the thought that I might find her attractive nauseates her.
But she should know that every time she corrects me, it makes her even more attractive to me.

Yeah, well, we aren't talking about cancer patients. We're talking about making something big out of something small. Which, you apparently, seem to like to do since you did it with me as well.

Everything that follows is done freely without expectation of return. Though I am interested in the response that I think I might get from you.

You're talking about making something big out of something small.
You are not trying to injure me. If you are not trying to injure me, you are trying to help me.
If you are trying to help me, then what do you hope will happen to me as a result of your help?
Maybe you think I will stop doing something that irritates other people.
We cannot avoid irritating everyone at all times.
I look out for my own interests, and the interests of people at the message board.
Personal satisfaction with one's actions is a good way to measure the personal utility of an action.
That is why message boards are around. People have a need to express themselves publicly, and a message board allows you to meet that need.
It goes without saying that a person's post should aim to address someone who would stand to benefit from it, and there should also be a good chance that those people will read the message in the first place.

My entire time at CC, I have never failed to be satisfied as a result of posting here.
I always post as long as it has the chance of benefitting a person I think is likely to be at the message board.

So how can you help me when I can already help myself according to what I need?

That's fine. I don't have to regard the attraction though because cyphercat is all about the ladies.
