What in the world? Seriously? I am in shock that a parent found that poster acceptable.

Unfortunately, the stats on high school students and their sexual activity did not surprise me at all. I have a number of students that get pregnant every year at the school where I teach. It is very disheartening.

There is almost no information available to young people about what sex really is as God gave us sex. They have lots of misinformation about a sort of animal sex that just clouds their mind so they can't comprehend sex. Their minds and bodies become so ruined with immoral sex, they can't experience the real thing.

God bases real sex on His scripture "and the two became one". That takes in a lot of our life together with another person. Without this, sex is a mockery that can be compared with glass to a diamond.

I would like to believe that Christ can so clean them if they repent and turn to Him that they can experience sex. There are many marriages today that have no idea what the Lord is speaking of when He says two can become one. Lack of information about real sex has far reaching results.

It is something we can go back to the days of old when people did sneak
around and engage in it. But at least they knew it was wrong, they had
to sneak. Today what do they have as role models ? Some mothers are
letting men sleep in their bed, or live in the home unmarried.. What type
of lesson is she teaching the chil
d ? Fathers who live alone and get visitation
do same thing. Unless they happen to be moral with their own lifestyle.

Yes, Jesus, can clean those of us who have had relations before salvation.
We can pray the parent can hold onto the 12 and 13 year old and God help
them, help the young ones to be afraid to engage in sexual conduct.

I believe the parent who is raising their child with morality as the main
focus need to be commended. God help the innocent. This world is so
perverse, we have to ask for the Lord to please intervene.

Did this not want you to just cry? I mean it is bad enough for older teens, Oh, Toska,
I feel for you as a Christian teacher knowing right from wrong and not allowed to tell
your students right from wrong. I realize what class you teach is not likely to have this
topic brought up, unless you put on the Board... 1+1 = 3 ....... Seriously, when I was in
school, we were able to ask our Homeroom & Typing teacher, any thing we wanted to
know re: sex. When I was in school, these topics you just read about were not even
an issue. Where are we headed ? Let us do all we can to get the message out. God
be with you in your love for your students. The most you can do is pray for what you
see going on, and pray for the Lord to come quickly. JMO.... ~J~K~2

I'am often amazed at the reactions of Christians when they read or hear of things that "amaze" them in this world. The world seems to be getting out of hand as schools, and society in general are falling more and more into accepting and teaching sin. We as Christians were warned of this in the Bible. "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah". How was it in the day's of Noah? The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. So God destroyed every human on earth with the great flood of Noah.

Today we see things getting as they were in the "day's of Noah". You shouldn't be "amazed". If things were getting better in this world and not like "the day's of Noah" then you should be "amazed". Jesus made it very clear that before He returns things have to get "like the day's of Noah." Don't be "amazed" at how terrible this world is getting. He told us it would. Give praise to Jesus that His return is getting close and all this death, suffering and promotion of sin to our children (in schools for one place) will come to an end.

Pray please. Pray for all of the parents who need to know this is going on.
Pray, how do we keep the kids to believe this is so totally playing with fire.
What do they have to look forward to ? God help us to be bold and speak
up this all goes against God and what He intended for man and wife,
not a bunch of kids messing up their lives. It will always hang over their
head forever, even with salvation, memories still linger. Wow..is correct !

With respect to the OP and others reading this thread...

Apologies for the nature of this post but CHILDREN'S EDUCATION is something I am VERY PASSIONATE about...

What is next to be added to the list of 'affection', when are people going to realize what Amerika has degenerated into as a nation? When did parents turn over their children's spirits and minds to the government/zombies? I've said it before and I'll say it again, HOMESCHOOL! There is NO EXCUSE for not homeschooling if you truly love your child. There are church based homeschool groups also if you are unsure about your tutorial abilities.

Perhaps people would benefit from having this added to the list to wake them up to the gravity of the situation? Sometimes it takes a sledgehammer to wake people up? Well here it is!

The following is EXTREMELY DISTASTEFUL and I'll leave it to you to click the link if you choose, be warned, it is VERY GRAPHIC and DISGUSTING! Leave it to humanity to come up with something this perverse! I think we may have surpassed Sodom and Gomorrah with this particular homosexual pastime. And if you think that some of your male gay teachers who are teaching your kids haven't done this, think again, it's quite the rage in the homosexual community.

Why is homeschooling the only option? There are plenty of quality Christians schools out there.

Yes, it is hard to stand by and watch the mistakes my students are making and not be able to offer them any type of advice. I spend a lot of time in prayer for my students. I want to see them all succeed (many will) and go out and make a difference in the world. I wish I could put a HUGE stack of bibles on my desk and hand them out to all of my students. I wish I could talk to my female students about having respect for their bodies and waiting until marriage to have sex.

Ugh, there are so many "I wish" statements I could make.

Very well said. Thank you for pointing out the positive side of a very sad situation. Every day I am reminded by someone here that I should stay positive and not focus on the negative side everything.

I always say that I love to learn new things every day. This is one of the things I could have gone without learning. Sodom and Gomorrah, indeed:(

Peace and love to you all,Pox, I understand the topic she is trying to convey, however, I have some thoughts.
First, My mind went back to when I was in School. I started in year 1950. I learned
then teachers were to be obeyed. We had orderly classes and we needed someone
to be an authority figure. It taught us respect and good conduct. I then let my memory
go to Junior High ( today known as middle school ) and the difference of course from
grade school was quite an adjustment because our Jr. Hi was in th
e High School.
Okay, my mind went to the Lockers where we stored our school books, etc. We had
locker inspection. I never thought it as invasion of privacy. As for the pledge of the
flag, I always see the American flag as a symbol of our great Country, America. We
sang Patriotic songs. We were aware we had to have rules
and we had to be obedient.
Where else would we learn these things? This taught us how to live outside in a world
we would live in the rest of our life.

However, I do believe we have let guard down. We know we did have peace and you
are too young to know there was a time there really was a family unit. Father was the
h
ead of the home. Mother was there for the children. Children were obedient and
disciplined. Now, we have an entirely different set of rules people are living by and it
was IMO not due to the way I was raised. I would be a rebellious hell cat if I had not
had discipline, teachers who were doing what they were hired to do, and that is teach
and our Principal or Deans were authority leaders.

Somewhere down the line we ended up with where we are today. I agree it is headed
for a train wreck. Parents today do not want their children disciplined. We have in some
cases, perverted teachers. Teachers having sex with students, male or female. Come
on, that would not have happened when I was in school. It was against the rules for
teacher and students to date. After student graduated she was able to marry the teacher.

So, I think what I am trying to say is, it really is a good video....She makes a lot of sense
and yes, we are where she said we are today.... in a bad way.... but believe me it was
not always that way. Education is important. Discipline is necessary, and learning to
obey authority, is teaching one how to treat their Employer with respect and give their
best as an employee.

This is a topic that could go on and on. It would be great if the children did not have to
be this way. I see what is coming in the future and it is not good. But that is for another
time.

Thank you for sharing. I really do appreciate it. ~ J~K~

Unfortunately this stuff is not new news. I remember them teaching us stuff like this back when I was in Middle School (though grinding was not in the list because it had just begun to develop as a fad in our generation's culture.) Heh, I even remember when they brought in all the different types of contraceptives to show us what they are, how they work, etc. I always found it quite ironic that many of the contraceptives they showed us back in middle school and high school are now subject of lawsuits for causing health problems to the individual (ie: vaginal mesh implants.) I also found it quite curious they teach us these things every year, and instead of decreasing the rate at which teens have sex it kinda gave them a how-to guide. Heh, the article says something like only 40+% of high schoolers have engaged in sex in Kansas. Kansas must be a pretty modest state if that's true because I personally know that for my grade level the statistic is MUCH higher than that (my personal estimate be something of 70-80%), and especially the statistic of multiple partners is extremely high. I also know that the grades younger than mine (freshmen when I was a senior) were even more engaged in this stuff than even we were. The STD rate is also absurdly higher than people report. Though I suppose a reason why the official statistics are so low is probably because most people lie when asked.

Though to be fair, we did have an Abstinence Only teacher come in during two of the years in middle school, and I remember her to be the best well-reasoned. Ironically she was the one my friends' parents complained the most about because she showed us very gruesome pictures of the STDs (though I thought her "blunt and ugly truth" approach was sensible. Those pictures definantly made you think twice lol!)

Why is my generation the one that is so sexualized? It's hard to pin it on any one thing. The education system propagates it, the media actively promotes it (movie, music, tv, video games), modern "mental health" bullcrap promoting the do-what-feels-good culture, widespread social acceptance of sexual immorality of all types, parents won't talk about it or will encourage it, precedent set in the 1960s-1980s Generation (our parents), anti-virginity culture (being labelled a virgin = big time insult in my generation), the whole society dynamic as was pointed out with single parent households is probably a factor as well, parents giving their daughters birth control bills around age 12-13 thus giving them the license to have sex, access to the internet and thus all knowledge could be a factor, naturally magazines (especially Cosmo) promote it, Modern Western ideals of femininity and masculinity promote women to be sexy and men to be always seeking sex (for which there are other non-sex problems that arise also such as anorexia in girls and infidelity in men), and the list just keeps going and growing.

Even our politicians are actively spreading this stuff whether they are for or against it just by making it an issue (most of my grade learned about sex in the 3rd grade after Bill and Monica Affair, and thanks to the Bush most of my peers learned what gay was ironically because of his heavy 2000 campaigning which brought the issue of the abomination marriage to the forefront and made it a hot button political topic which since then has been a major political point every campaign from there on out.)

Heh, I don't know if this is how the generation of Noah was (I think they took it one step further by having sex with fallen angels.) It seems to me to resemble Ancient Greek and Roman culture moreso, except with spiffy new technology. Though I could see that as the generations (Boomer Hippies and Xers) that preceded mine was pretty over-sexualised and hedonistic and that brought forth a rise in divorce and sexual immorality to my generation to learn as kids, that the bastard (literally fatherless) generation that is being born right now is probably just a generational stone's throw away from the days of Noah. I am glad my older forefathers from the Greatest Generation will not have to suffer to see this, and I am very sorrowful that I will have to bear witness to it when I reach my older years if a natural lifespan is granted unto me. Sorry if this sounds rantish, I can see that it kind of is. Of all things though it is in my opinion one of the darkest and worst facets of my generation mostly because I can all ready see the beginning of the effects that it will have on the next generation which is being begat even now.

At 9 minutes and 9 seconds Nathanael speaks about the infiltration of homosexuality curricula, and lifestyle themes promoted by television.

An eye opening look at a few people our society and children idolize.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Mary Lambert & Madonna performing at The Grammy's 2014 'Same Love' on Vimeo

Thanks Pox. I watched the video. Agreed with most of what he spoke of.
He did need to bring out the truth of the changing of our morals and lifestyle.
Question we need to ask ourselves, 'if we are told we need to take the mark
because we refuse to go against the Lord God almighty' would we go willingly
and suffer for the cause of Christ ?

Also the other video re: Awards ... totally disgusting. Oh, yes, people are going
to say, don't watch it... well I don't. I don't watch sitcoms. I do watch the MIDDLE
corny, yes, but at least it is clean and change of pace.

I wondered if anyone noticed the google on your computer upper left corner,
the RAINBOW colors.
I am infuriated at the force of CHANGE ( remember that word ?). ~J~K~2

-> Ripoff Report | Milton Kapner Complaint Review Denver, Colorado: 1008974

"Milton Kapner, aka Brother Nathaniel is not who he says he is. About five years ago Mr. Kapner was removed from yet another Monastery. The police were called and Mr. Kapner was arrested. The Monastery is in Buena Vista, Colorado. It is an Eastern Orthodox Christian Monastery.

Mr. Kapner entered the Monastery with the hope of becoming a monk, but that never happened. He was a novice, but did not have the disapline to become monk. Mr. Kapner was asked to leave, but he would not. The police were called and they asked Mr. Kapner to leave, but he refused. He was then arrested.

Months later Mr. Kapner showed up on the street preaching the Lord to all who would listen. He dressed as a monk and claimed he was a monk of the Eastern Orthodox Church.

For a time I was connected to this Monastery. I am a Priest with a small parish in Southern California. My Archbishop resided at the Buena Vista Monastery."
