I think this thread is the perfect example of gaslighting. Many here (not all) are using hateful, abusive, controlling words to try to convince you that THEY are the ones being abused. It's crazy-making, and it's wrong.
Yes, there are abusive women. There are also abusive men. Let's just agree that people in general can be abusive. It is a complete injustice that abused men are unlikely to be believed by law enforcement or their communities. With fewer than 7% of all abusers ever seeing the inside of a jail cell, abused women aren't believed very much either.
It does no good to point fingers at entire people groups, other than to bring awareness on LIKELIHOODS. There is no cause for everyone to bear the blame for the evils of a few. If we just respect and love each other as Christ commands us to, we can work together to care for the wounded and try to prevent abuse from even happening.
