If I could address this thread to men, what would they say?

If I could address this question to women, what would they regret and fight back?

I wish GOD would add a thing we have bypassed or forgotten. I think HE spoke on Genesis but -obviously- I am “a macho man” who would fight for men´s rights, those we gave up (if some were granted).

One note:

Feminism came to be alive because of men became to be abusers.

Where did that machism came from?

I know what my life has been. I know how women shared -some guilt- on the machism we seem to be promoting, as hurt men.

Just read this thread and help "you" to see we are somehow alone...

Do we need a Christian movement to stop
all of these(both, feminism and machism).

Christ has shown who to love our spouse. He gave HIS life for her (us).

Just read this thread:

Of course the feminist agenda was satanic because it attacked God's doctrines. Just take a look around you and see how many women are hurting because they lack support from men, non-feminist women, the status quo and even the feminists have turned their back on their supporters. God works in mysterious ways.

I´m afraid we are sit and doing nothing... I´m divorced and, my ex-wife, left the church she was "a leader"...

Will that be "her" unique reason to enroll in politics now? (I don´t know!) but she told me (last month) she is seeking money, and more benefit$ (using or abusing the "social" banner).

I have read those post where I saw you (Thanks for being there), but I don´t know how this will end up (Just Christ, at HIS coming).

Feminism was a great idea to start with, but they took it too far. Feminism started out as equal rights for women, voting rights, equal pay for equal work, etc. Great ideas. Then, they went insane. :)

In truth, feminism and the Bible don't mix. However, we must remember that we received our equality in Christ. It is so strange for me how many will embrace Christ in so many areas but in this one they refuse. I believe it is cultural, where and how they were raised.

Now, we can see the effects of feminism EVERYWHERE and it is blatantly ignored. Watch any sitcom and you will see who the doof is and who runs the house. The man is the pushover, dopey failure and the wife is the one that keeps everything together, the one who always gets her way, the one who essentially runs the house and keeps it together. This wasn't God's plan. The woman and the man were partners, equal yet different.

Agree with your post to a degree but both and most failed miserably at his or her task. In many instances I have seen both men & women picked up the slack for a lazy spouse or partner and make the relationship work.

No argument there. :) It is a partnership and sometimes one partner doesn't do as much as the other. Society as a whole, though, portrays the man as the lesser partner in movies and sitcoms and such...well, maybe not action movies. :) Hollywood skews masculinity and allows men to sink to a level below that of what God created men for and allows women to do the same thing with womanhood. Partnership. What a concept.

Here are some ideas I took from the Bible (not to mention the Hezabelic evil spirit around, that is mentioned in some churches I have largely attended).

Num 12:1 Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses. They criticized him because he married an Ethiopian woman.

It was their reason to attack the LEADERSHIP GOD gave him (and afterwards Moses shared with his brother Aaron: Not with their "loyal" SISTER).

Num 12:2 They said to themselves, "Moses is not the only one the LORD has used to speak to the people. He has also spoken through us!" The LORD heard this.

According to we read (there) God heard.

Who started the problem with the LEADERSHIP? Aaron or Miriam?

Satan is using peiople and churches to seek the ROLE OF BEING "LEADERS".

Worship LEADERS.

Prayer LEADERS.

Service LEADERS.

You know it better!

My ex-wife was "formed" to be a leader, "her" church voluntered her to be so...

Now she is enroled in politics: She wanted to be a LEADER (the church is not her concern, now).

Did JESUS called us to be LEADERS or FOLLOWERS?

Just some I ideas I think, because there is a number of churches "making" leaders, instead of the call we received from Jesus, as being His disciples.

It´s okey to have goals and gold, but pride goes somewhere else...

Jesus said: " Mark 10:44 Whoever wants to be first must serve the rest of you like a slave. "

Mat 23:7 They love for people to show respect to them in the marketplaces and to call them 'Teacher.'
Mat 23:8 "But you must not be called 'Teacher.' You are all equal as brothers and sisters. You have only one Teacher. Alleluya! The lord is always right. :D

Mat 23:9 And don't call anyone on earth 'Father.' You have one Father. He is in heaven.
Mat 23:10 And you should not be called 'Master.' You have only one Master, the Messiah.
Mat 23:11 Whoever serves you like a servant is the greatest among you.

Leadership is too connected to power, to leading roles, that I had no clue why Miriam started that FEMINISTIC movement to rule Israel, just in front of the face of GOD.

Heh I see much of the "feminist" and "macho man" stereotype and arguments, not just here but in society in general. It seems to be more a cultural thing for the Western Culture. Very curious in other cultures this not so big a deal.

I would say one thing that always kinda seemed funny to me is "feminism" as they call it, or at least the modern stereotype of it seems like itself to be un-feminine. Just the same the "Macho man/Cave Man" stereotype as we know it today in our culture likewise seems to me to be very un-manly.

Now that of course is to speak of the stereotypes in our modern culture and time period. When one actually looks deeper naturally all people are individualistic and also the definition for words such as Feminism has changed frequently through the years. I think someone pointed out in another thread that when the concept of modern feminism arose in America and Western Europe it was actually quite Christian and biblically grounded.

But, according to the record of the Bible, how many times have you seen a "feminist" movement going on?

I was shocked when I read my Bible, some time ago, but today I saw that problem I have heard of for more than 50 years, and today I realized Miriam was on the 1st feminist "leaders" Israel had, and GOD cut off that movement.

The problem is as old as history, because the "myth" of the Amazons had something to do with FEMALE LEADERSHIP and, yesterday, I learned more on wikipedia. The satanic agenda started at the Edem. That divided two people who knew GOD, face to face...

Meh for the Miriam incident you decribe I saw that more as racial prejudice more than feminism as you would call it.

Idk about arguing Eve was any worse than Adam. After all both freely chose as equals to listen to that stupid serpent and accepted death as a equal and independent decision.
Wouldn't true feminity arise from how Eve was before the fall? Was not she beautiful and adored in Adam's sight? Wasn't she the equal helper in caretaking the Garden with Adam equally before Adam gave her the name Eve? Was not she Adam's equal taken from his flesh to be his partner and great love; the first miracle besides Creation and The Breath of Life given to Man because God saw that The Man was lonely?

That´s true, sir! So it proves Aaron wasn´t seeking leadership (he was "the second", after Moses). What was the desire of Miriam? Don´t say that PROTAGONICAL leadership?

( Exo 15:20 Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and dancing.

Num 12:2 And they said, "Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has he not spoken through us also?" And the LORD heard it. )

The issue was MOSES´ leadership! And the reason they "misused" was a racial argument.

Later on Jesus set the racial matter and the leadership issue:
Mat 23:8 "But you must not be called 'Teacher.' You are all equal as brothers and sisters. You have only one Teacher.

Did I say Eve was worst than her chosen one? I already said Adam chose Eve and, today -same as Solomon- many chose their spouse, rather than GOD. To some extent, I also have chosen women´s temporal pleasure than eternal joy.

Both were and are caretakers.
If you have read Gen., you might have note the punishment EACH received (For Eve, Gen 3:16 To the woman he said, "I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you." and, as for Adam, Gen 3:17 And to Adam he said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; Gen 3:18 thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. )

I see girls/women as a GOD given present, by the way.

Next time I´d marry, I want to be sure ENOUGH she is my gift, not my mistake, by the way.

Best explanation I have read. I totally agree 100%. When I wrote my view
on this topic, ( close to being like yours ) I get shouted out. This is perfect ~

Women and men are equal but they were created differently for a reason. They have different roles to play. The trouble is now women want to play the same role as men and we are seeing the fruits of that in the children coming through. The most important job is to raise the next generation. This important job is left to strangers now.

I woulD dare to say that one million want to be real AMAZONS...

I like the picture brother PRAUS used to tell it well, in other thread.

If any man (or woman) said: "I want EQUALITY" and soon after asks: "but I want special treatment".

Where´s that equity?

I see this as a satanic agenda against FAMILY, against church and against EACH INDIVIDUAL.

Thanks, DRETT.

Oh yes I believe it's completely satanic...but it's much deeper than this sociopolitical "football" many are deceived into playing, where one opponent is trying to score the most points for their "team", while outsiders are pressured by "players" into picking a side (being convinced by those players that "to not play is equivalent to scoring points for the opposing team" or some such ridiculousness). All the while, it's just a smokescreen. The only one actually benefiting from the game is the current, temporary custodian of the field...satan himself.

"Team Feminism vs. Team Chauvinism" is just a game, as similar a game as...

"Team liberal vs. Team conservative"

"Team [Race] vs. Team [Race]"

"Team [nation] vs. Team [Nation]"

"Team Poor vs. Team Rich"

All it is is a game of "Us vs. Them". The only difference is the marketed underdog (i.e. the one we're "supposed" to root for) swaps from one generation to the next; whoever's now labeled "Good" vs. whoever's labeled "Evil" this time around. And yet people get so duped, so immersed into "winning the game for their team" very few realize that regardless of whether they side with today's "good" or today's "evil", they're still eating from the same forbidden tree their parents once ate from...leading to their continued destruction.

---

God has an established order, as order brings peace and harmony to a system (there is no stable system in creation that is without order; set *rules* to follow). While satan benefits from disorder; chaos, still telling people they can be "just as equal as...", like he did with Adam and Eve compared to God; the very first "us vs. them" match.

It's the same sweet sounding lie spun for a different issue and a new generation. And yet we accept the lie and ignore the truth because deep down our spirit knows what the truth means and we reject its implications...which is why the world refuses to even acknowledge the most basic characteristic of God and would rather say "Mother" Nature...or why believers rather recognize the nurturing/feminine qualities of God while marginalizing or rejecting the discipline/masculine qualities of that same God as "OT", "put away" or "nailed to the cross"...or why we rather celebration a 6 lbs 10 oz baby Jesus - or (if we have to) a passive, non-confrontational, emaciated male image of Christ - instead of the strong, fearless, authoritative carpenter man that scripture describes our Christ was/is. And even though *each gender* - both masculinity and femininity- together reflect this complete nature of God, people continue to war between the sexes.

And then there's the other reaction. Instead of ignoring the truth like some do, others would rather mischaracterize the message, create strawmen and then draw false implications from their strawmen...only to bait persons into joining the game so they can quickly call foul in their feigned innocence. All the while, not realizing what spirit they're of.

.......

Again, God has an established order for all of his creation...but individual positions in that order do not determine individual "value". Elements of creation are different for a reason and that reason is to explain and glorify God in the different aspects of his *full* nature. God created all things and all things were made "good" in his eyes. They - though different - all had "equal value" to him, but everything was in its proper place; everything had its unique role to play (which was - again - to fully explain and glorify him).

But it's fallen mankind that places added value on certain positions...then that value compels coveting/greed...and then that coveting/greed leads to resentment from the one who hasn't the position/role they feel is more valuable (does this ancient spirit sound familiar to anyone? Isaiah 14:14).

Simultaneously...

It's fallen mankind that again places added value on certain positions...then that value compels coveting/greed...and then that coveting/greed leads to abuse from the one who wants to keep a tight grip on the position/role they have, using it to "lord over" others (the same ancient spirit having great wrath when his position was lost; Rev 12:12).

Notice that the common denominator here is mankind's "fallen" spirit. That same old spirit/snake. This is the reason why Macho men abuse and take advantage of women at every opportunity...and this is why feminist women resent and challenge men whenever possible. It's that same old rebellious spirit behaving the way he always has when in the same situations. The problem has never been unequal positions, as roles given to men and women are different; the problem is people are not born *anew* and so in their rebellious spirit still doesn't accept the roles God gave them, and with humility (this includes both the abusive and the resentful), still suffering from the sin of Genesis; covetousness.

They're still living out their 1st life as seeds of that fallen spirit, instead of living out the 2nd life offered to them...because one can't help but act like Christ when one's living out their 2nd life fully in him...his Spirit is just too potent for our fallen spirit to resist.

...So this is the Christian Movement we need to nurture: to return to teaching that we're supposed to die to our "old" lives if we claim to be believers, not cling to it (because either we actually believe Christ gave us a "new" life, or we don't...there's no straddling the fence or luke-warmness; no claiming BOTH lives or continuing to identify with our past). You either died in Christ or you didn't.

And then we need to teach this (i.e. the *full* gospel) to the world; that people have a way out of the prison of THIS fallen life/spirit we've each inherited...but that's contingent on whether we actually believe it ourselves, instead of pretending like we do.

Excellent and great, sir!
