*Boughs=6529 17-20-10=[periy] citrus fruit, reward,
Goodly, and citrus =1926 5-4-20= [hadar] magnificence, i.e. ornament or splendor, beauty, comeliness, excellency, glorious, glory, goodly, honour, and majesty.
Branches=3709 11-17 [kaph] the hollow hand or palm in the form of a tablespoon.
Palm=8558=22-13-20=[*tamar] to be erect.

The vegetation of citrus fruit presents a sweet aroma of freshness under duress. This fruit is acquired from the tree previously mentioned. This cleansing aroma is given by substantial words of enlightenment. God gives, and continues to give His creative works for mankind. We are unique among all of His creation, giving us the capability of choice to respond to His loving kindness and protection. He has given His testimony in sacrifice, and it is for us to reciprocate in a responsible manner according to His instructions. He has revealed His power, assuring us of victory through Him. He has offered to us enlightenment of understanding. By His grace He judges and gives instructions to lead us to salvation in Christ. Knowing where to find the light, we go to where it surrounds us, and we are compelled to worship Him in spirit, and in truth. Take note that the first 2 letters of this citrus fruit are the same as the Bullock. His light protects us from apostasy, depravity and rebellion, recognized by His instructions in righteousness. Paul said in Galatians 3:19, “Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.” He also told Timothy in chapter two verse sixteen that “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” To worship Him is to properly respond to His call, recognizing His majesty and love for us. When reading John 1:16-17 we understand that God’s grace was in the law, and this same grace can be seen to its completion through His only begotten Son. John says: “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” We are redeemed with the price of sacrifice. Recognizing the true church as the bride of Christ, *Tamar, and Tamari are of a feminine persuasion, a woman’s name, denoting giving birth because of a planted seed. The bride is the representative of its root by which it grew and received nourishment. This is the palm standing erect so that it is clearly seen. This citrus is taken from the tree represents this new birth, and the individual children of God receive their nourishment from the palm. Isaiah prophesies of the New Testament when he says in chapter 40 verse 11 “He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.”
Ephesians 1:18, Psalm 29:2, Psalm 111:9, 1 Chronicles 29:11, and Isaiah 56:1
It is because “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.” So “give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name. Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.” And “Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.”

When we properly represent our Father in heaven, we glorify the height of His character as supreme above all. We climb toward the top where we find the newest, and most tender covering possible. Understanding that He watches over us in love, we know that His divine plan fulfilled in Christ, has always been intact through these thousands of years of Biblical history. By understanding His perfection in governing, He has given us the capability to be taught, and to take part in this everlasting covenant that He has promised to those who believe. His words are nourishment to the soul, and our woks are motivated by His gift of faith. We are responsible for our actions as His children to represent our Father in truth, and in Spirit. In this everlasting covenant, he has made a way for us to see, and confess our depravity and rebellion, and be forgiven of all. We are convinced that our Savior, His heir, and Son will continue to consume this old nature, for deliverance, and salvation denying, and dying to ourselves daily. Related scriptures are as follows. Leviticus 5:5, Psalm 32:1-2, Romans 4:4-8, and 1 John 1:8-10, Psalm 50:14-15. “And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing: Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”

We cannot be in two places at one time. Many would say we have several choices in this life but there are really only two. We can choose to be separated from the world’s values, and secure within in the family of God, or we can choose the ways of the world and be separated from the security in Christ Jesus “Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (Galatians 1:4-5) Sooner or later, everyone will see the evils of sin by the light of Christ, for the Bible says in Romans 14:10b-12 “for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” We have been created to have a mind that understands redemption. Because of His grace, God has provided the instructions. Along with belonging to the family of God, comes the responsibility to work according to the original intent of His testimony. Jesus is the lily of the valley, and this deliverance is called salvation. Even though this life it might be quite lonely and scary at times, we can be comforted by knowing that spiritual rivers, shade, and flowers are found in our valley because Jesus is there too. He has made a way to obtain a new life that teaches precepts and principles through His unchanging perfect government. He is our Father and we are His children, interwoven together in love.
Related scriptures are 2 Corinthians 6:17-18, Ephesians 2:19, Psalm 19:7, Deuteronomy 6:5, Psalm 23:4, Song of Songs 2:1, and Isaiah 9:6-7.
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” For He says to us; “I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.” Praise God Almighty “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”

Israel has experienced complete disorder while in bondage in Egypt learning to hate their existence, seeming to have no future hope. As a last resort, they call out to God for deliverance and He answers because He loves for them. Starting with Passover God gives them a sign concerning the first born, as He looks for the blood on the doorposts. Israel begins to see the process of events promised to Abraham and believes this promise. Through the chaos of that first day, they begin their journey of freedom with haste, eating bread with no yeast because there was no time to allow it to rise, and arrive at a place called Succoth. God protects them as He provides a way for escape, leading them with fire, a cloud, and a wind to part the Red Sea. After three days God provides Israel with water made fit to drink because of the tree. Thirty days after the Passover, Israel is provided with manna from heaven, and water from the Rock within the time that would become known as the “Feast of Weeks.” After Forty-eight days from their exodus, Israel arrives at Mount Sinai, receiving the first instructions of responsibility recorded by Moses. From that time forward, God gives His “Ten Words” written on stone. It is important to know that the law came after Israel’s salvation, or if you will, salvaging. Through the next forty years Israel was consistently reminded of Passover that was a light to the suffering their forefathers endured for the previous four hundred and thirty years. They remembered the victory over Egypt that gave insight to the undying love of God, compelling them to worship with responsibility, adhering to God’s law, and all that had happened before reaching the Promised Land. Now that they had arrived, they were to put into action the instructions on how to govern themselves, and take care of the land that they had conquered. Planting, and harvesting would show spiritual completeness, and the Father’s perfection, and to teach their children these things for generations to come. Taking care of their livestock would exemplify the Fathers governmental perfection as a shepherd’s staff to teach, the yoke of oxen to cultivate, and the binding of a sheaf of grain. Still, with all that, they would see the exceeding sinfulness of sin by the words of prophets, and the harsh judgments of God that promised to consume and destroy for the purpose of salvaging His own again and again. And at last, God sends His only begotten Son to put the last, and most important piece into place. The law and love of God continues throughout, shedding light on darkness and the promise of redemption, and rest. Jesus tells His followers that He is the Shepard that binds, yokes, and teaches with His rod and staff proving His Father’s perfection. He exhorts His disciples of their responsibility by the testimony He presents. He teaches of being united into the family of His Father that is not of this world, and calls Himself the door of entrance into the security for those who to enter. He says of Himself that He has power against the weakness of man, the manifestation of sin, and the evils of Satan. And finally, at the end of the Old Testament, it is proven that He is the seed that continues, the heir of the Kingdom, and the firstborn Son of His own Father for deliverance, and salvation. He brings His own into a new birth, divided from the physical world, with new beginnings, and the spiritual process of events start all over again, as it was from the first Passover, not for Israel only this time, but for the whole world.

During the same period of seven days, Israel was commanded to live in “booths,” describing where the “Feast of Tabernacles” received its name. It is also important to know that this first day of “booth” construction was a Sabbath day, which would be very laborious, yet would be a day of rest. According to tradition, this seems to be a clear-cut oxymoron, and one of those things that some might use to label some scriptures as contradictory. As humans, we have a nature to compare things with what we have experienced in the physical realm of our own life. With only tradition in mind we now are compelled to reconnoiter for understanding, and acceptance of the spiritual truth. We tend to relate the Sabbath day to rest, and not doing any work at all. As a child growing up on a farm, I can tell you that I worked both on Saturday and Sunday because feeding the cattle was a seven-day a week job. In relation we can see that Jesus worked on the Sabbath day also. In Matthew 12:10-13 and Luke 6:9 we see more than just a physical time of rest. “And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other. Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?” Then in the book of Hebrews, that describes the spiritual meaning of the physical law, we read “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.” This rest indicates a 24/7 rest. We know that Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath, and that the Sabbath was made for the human race, so to clarify the truth of the Sabbath one has only to understand Hebrews 4:10 which says, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.” So in the course of making “booths or succah,” one only needs to know that Israel was not doing their own work, but rather God’s work for good reason, as we will soon find out. The fall harvest had been completed, and it was the beginning of time to reflect on the goodness of God. The trumpets to gather Israel had been blown, and “atonement” had been accomplished. Together with the special sacrifices starting with thirteen bullocks, we continue by describing the spiritual meanings of the vegetation used in the making of these “tabernacles,” in which the children of God were to dwell in for seven days.

I was raised on a farm too. Sunday was our day of rest, but the animals were still fed.:)

Just-me, I have been reading about the strong possibility that Messiah was born in a sukkah. It sounds right to me after considering the likely time He was born, and the customs and laws of the day. What do you think?

See post #338 for details of the Hebrew letters used for each word that describes the foliage for the booths previously mentioned.

"Booths," in retrospect, relate our observance of the commandment of succah/cukkah to God's miraculous protection of Israel during their forty-year sojourn through the desert en route to the Promised Land. This protection was not only furnished to the Israeli people while in the desert, but in His infinite kindness, God has extended that protection to His children throughout the ages, and into the future.
People are influenced by those actions that they do on a regular basis. Their thoughts are drawn to that which they do constantly, whether it is good or bad. By observing God’s instruction unto righteousness, we focus our thoughts toward that which is good, and we are to remember, and worship Him by conducting ourselves in an honest and righteous fashion. I think Paul had this in mind when he wrote to the Philippians saying; “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

I copied and quoted just one of may of your mystical insights. I take it you are either practicing Kabbalist? Or maybe an up and coming rabbi learning his gematria? Maybe it's some other off shoot of the babylonian religion? Why can't people just leave their imagination and numerology out of scripture and simply share a reading of the plain text and leave it at that? Did you know faith comes by hearing the word of God? That verse was said when a very few but the wealthy could afford a book. It was back then read to the whole congregation of Israel INCLUDING the children. Two things should be noted, it said it was to read, not explained, or revealed by some mystical experience, so I would suggest start and stick with just a plain reading of the text. Two, since the children were to be included in the reading, it would seem to me the plain reading of the text should be able to be understood by a child. Why would think add to scripture numerology and or gematria into the reading?

I was thinking Nisan, but that's just a thought. I think this because the Shepherds seemed as though they were close to Bethlehem when the angle came and told them the good tidings. That would indicate that it was spring time. I have no proof from Biblical scripture. Just assumptions of deductions. There are many Jewish traditions today that don't correlate with the Bible. The major one is that the Jewish new year starts on the first of Tishri instead of Nisan. That is 6 months off from Exodus chapter 12. GBU

No doubt sis. When the Good book says that man shall live be EVERY Word the proceeds out of the mouth of God, His Word becomes more profound as we eat the meat of the Word in detail. Good food ain't it. I well post more tomorrow, out Father in heaven willing.

The answer to that is found in 2 Timothy 2:15 -- "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." as it is written in the KJV.

Now therefore give heed, O Israel, to the statutes and to the judgments, which I teach you, to do them, that you may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers gives you.
You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish nothing from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

Then expound upon them and tell me your thoughts, theories and explanation as to how should we live? Because they are by God's very own words instructions to live by. Having babylonian mystics, kabbalists, numerologists or those practicing gemetria adding to it some hidden meaning only they can decipher is not an exposition. If you want to expound on something then tell me your thoughts and theories about the instruction given to us regarding people who add to his instruction or who dabble in the occult and mysticism?

How will I have time to study God's Word if I have to look up what foreign terms mean? Gemetria? Never heard of it. I did briefly read what Kabbal is, but still couldn't define it. Mystic? not sure, but would think magic is involved. I may not be very smart, but even I can see there is meaning of every letter, every jot and dot in God's Word because He said not to change any of it. There are numbers in the Word also, and I take heed of those too.

I am trying to study the Feasts. Unless you have a worthy contribution to that, I don't have time to answer every accusation on CC.

Try and have a nice day, don't let me stop you. I will do the same. Ignore what you don't like. I will do the same.

I see that you don't believe in the Word of God as Yeshua being the true Messiah when reading your profile. I don't respect your position as you don't respect mine. By not being a Christian you have no foundation, or knowledge that enables you to differentiate between truth and occult practices, therefore, your words are evaporating statements. I do hope our Father in heaven will bless you some day, and call you to respond to the depth of the truth as it was, and is from the beginning of time. Love according to the world's standards is very different than the love given by our Creator who is Jesus Christ. I don't mean to be rude. I have usually had very good conversations with Jewish rabbis who didn't believe in Jesus Christ either. They were very respectful.

8[SUP]th[/SUP] day=22nd day of the month and is also a Sabbath day. Now at this point you will need to concentrate a little harder than normal. At least at this point I did, because we will be deviating slightly from the 22nd day being the eighth. Jesus rose from the dead on the eighteenth of the first month. That leaves thirteen days left in the first month that has thirty days. By adding *fifteen days of the second month to the thirteen days of the first month we have the sum of **twenty-eight days. Doing these calculations will give us greater insight about the day we call the Sabbath keeping in mind that it represents ceasing from our own works as stated in Hebrews 4:10. Obviously this can be thought about, on this the eighth day, for that is a day of rest. On the *fifteenth day of the second month, exactly one month after Israel came out of Egypt, they had run out of provisions thinking that they would all die. God provided manna for them to eat, giving instruction that the seventh day was to be a day of rest. This began the observance of God’s timing, (even though the seventh day of rest was instituted after creation) and on the sixteenth day of Lyar (the second month), being the first day of the week, the promised manna would fall from heaven for six days. “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.” (Hebrews 4:1) During the time of King Hezekiah, temple worship was restored in the second month. God forgave them and allowed them to celebrate the Passover feast on the *fifteenth day of the second month instead of the first month as previously ordained. This day would have been the **twenty-eighth day of the forty days Jesus ministered before His ascension into heaven. The number **twenty-eight represents “eternal life.”

Leviticus 23:36b
mentions that the “eighth day shall be an holy *convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.” Counting the first day as a Sabbath day, the eighth day would also be a Sabbath, and the first day of the week would be the second day of the “Feast of Tabernacles. On this eighth day we are back to the offering of one bullock, one ram, and seven lambs as was in the beginning of the month with the blowing of the trumpets, and Atonement. You may want to re-read Numbers 29:1-5 starting with the first day of Tishri to refresh your memory. As a Sabbath day, this eighth day was a day for a holy public convocation. Discussion was prevalent within the assembly and consulting on ecclesiastical affairs from the scribes to the common person. It was a time to converse about spiritual matters in the area of God’s will, and actions that they had experienced, giving hope for the future events of God’s righteous judgment. A good parallel to the New Testament truth would be Hebrews 13:16-17 where it says “to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” Now the children of Israel were very well informed of God’s care for them in retrospect when Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments in the same day that they had arrived at Mount Sinai, and all Israel said they would abide by it. The following day Moses built an altar with twelve pillars representing the twelve tribes, and applied the blood of the sacrifice on the people and the book he had written to confirm the covenant according to Exodus 24:3-8. The writer of Hebrews 9:19-20 recounts these events saying; “For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.” This is parallel to the blood of Christ being applied, and our response to the new covenant through Christ Jesus. John the beloved disciple brings this together in the most superb way. John 19:34, and 1 John 5:6-8. “But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. He is the one who came by means of water and blood, Yeshua the Messiah - not with water only, but with the water and the blood. And the Spirit bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth. There are three witnesses the Spirit, the water and the blood - and these three are in agreement.” (CJB) This is confirmed, being a clear picture of Jesus Christ as the mighty creator of all, being the first-born, and shedding His blood. Blood and water flowed from his side after He was speared to confirm His death. In like manner, this convocation was to recount the reality of the first Passover, the seven days they ate unleavened bread during their escape, and the forty-seven day journey to Mount Sinai that would later include the spring harvest of firstfruits. Then after the fall harvest, the “Feast of Tabernacles” was to recount the reality of it all according to Exodus 23:14. “Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.” Numbers 29:35-40 states the importance of these observances, not only for Israel, but also for us today, through the Holy Spirit given to us as believers, for our understanding; “On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein: But ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs of the first year without blemish: Their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullock, for the ram, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner: And one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, and his drink offering. These things ye shall do unto the LORD in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meat offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings. And Moses told the children of Israel according to all that the LORD commanded Moses.”

It is interesting to know that there are only three feasts presented, and to be kept. In relation to the believer’s life today, the first is the “Feast of Unleavened Bread” reminding Israel of their escape from bondage, and our escape on the day we were “born again” beginning with Pesach/Passover. Passover is the same evening/night that Jesus was buried after being crucified. The second is the “Feast of Weeks” presenting God given “firstfruits” for physical sustenance, and today as spiritual food ending with the Mosaic Law, and the giving of the Holy Spirit on the day of Shavuot/Pentecost. The third was the “Feast of Tabernacles” proposed to educate them, and us, and to meditate on His mercy, and goodness, feasting on His Word and providing the gift of inheritance with Him.

Deuteronomy 16:16-17 and Exodus 23:14
say it this way. “Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee. Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.” This describes the daily walk of believers in Christ Jesus.

I think the eight day of assembly is understated, like a shadow as is often the way we first see something....from the text don't you think it seems more important than every other Sabbath?

Also I'd like to note that to say anything that cannot be understood by a child is not of God is the most ridiculous assertion. I'm no child, yet there are many things in scripture that I do not understand by simple reading. It's like a panoramic photo, it's hard to fit everything in one frame of reference? Of course our languages were created on earth by broken earthly people, so their nature has the elemental curse, which is often exploited by mystics and kabbalists...then again....everything is exploited by the enemy....and everything can be used by the Creator.

I feel that I just scratched the surface of something that is so deep, that I will never comprehend the fullness while in this mortal body. :)

Allow me to rephrase the last sentence in the third paragraph, from post #355, with two sentences.

The third is the “Feast of Tabernacles” proposed to educate us, while we stop to meditate on His mercy, truth, and goodness, consuming His Word. His Word defines His testament, giving provision for us to be heirs of the inheritance together with His firstborn, and then we will be able to appear before the LORD, offering to Him the first of our blessings.

Thanks Kitten

There are three instances that attach the temple to the “Feast of Tabernacles,” and for clarity, the physical booths, and Solomon’s temple are not the same, which by now is a superfluous statement, yet for some might be necessary. The temple of sacrifice is where God dwells, and the tabernacles/booths are where the children of Israel dwelt during the forty years that they were in the wilderness of Sinai. First, Solomon finishes the building of the temple in 1 Kings 7:51, and 1 Kings 8:1-2. “So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the LORD. Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion. And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.” The trumpets were sounded at the beginning of the seventh month “Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.” (2 Chronicles 5:3) “And in the eighth day (being the 22[SUP]nd[/SUP]) they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days. And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people. Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.” (2 Chronicles 7:9-11) And according to the written word of God, 2 Chronicles 8:12-13 describes Solomon keeping these three feasts. “Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch, (the porch is the vestibule to the temple) Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.”

I am extremely sensitive to any occult practice....and I'll admit I held my breath a little when you(just-me) relayed the info about the meanings of letters and numbers, as I was half expecting you to do as Selihah had accused, however you simply relayed the meanings without doing anything crazy to them. Thank you. =)
Letters and numbers have meanings, which is how we use them to communicate. Hebrew didn't even have vowels, you were expected to know what the letters meant, in order to know what the word meant and know what vowel sounds to use. Since the Hebrew language far predates their Babylonian exile, we can safely assume that we are intended to look at numbers, and discern their significance.
If you read the whole Bible, from a Christian perspective, this is obvious, but to someone who is unsaved, I could see how this would send up a red flag to anyone who knew of what happened to Judaism during the various exiles, how it was perverted by pagan stuff.

-Selihah, have you read the Gospels? You might be interested in what Jesus had to say to the 'religious authority' and the Pharisees. Reading it is like HAH in your face paganism! He reproves them numerous times for adding to, or making of no effect, the Word that they had been given.
For those who don't know, Gematria is also known as Divine Mathematics, and is not bad in and of itself, as you can look at the realities as mathematical equations, and it can be eye opening. The problem is that it's not 'divine'. Their math is basically related to the elemental powers of the world, which will all be destroyed before long. The issue comes, as with any thing, if you take and play with it, using it for your own purposes...as you can do unspeakable evil.
I'm seeing something now where they are replacing the name of God even further. Like doing algebra to Hashem (the name), where YHWH becomes Hashem, and YHWH is one, therefor Hashem is one, therefore the name of god becomes "one", and now they can easily be aligned with the oneness theology and all the eastern religions and the liberals who claim there's no difference between a Christian man married to one woman being pastor, and a woman married to another woman who wants to be a "Christian pastor, and doesn't understand why that is a total oxymoron. And the new judaism puts tradition all the more up next to Scripture as equal...for example the most popular holidays are Purim and the "new year" that replaces Teru'ah and forces people to start swallowing kabbalah stuff just to make sense of why the new year comes during the 7th month; and they gloss right over the feasts, explaining them more as family vacation time than anything else. It's really sad, but not surprising given that Jesus talks about the 'synogogue of satan' in Revelations. Now more and more of the first steps of kabbalah and masonry are being put out for the world to see, use, practice magik with, etc. It's going to be interesting to see the effect that has on the world, especially our young people. Oh by the way, according to many occult practices, the law is singular. One law for all, to do according to your own will....the diametrically opposing position to the service of God, according to His perfect will.

Sorry to take the thread hostage with my rantings LOL =)
