This is probably one of the most misunderstood subjects in all of the Bible, so lets get some points straight; there are many anti-christs, there is not one Anti-Christ to come, there have always been anti-christs, look how John answers the question as to who is the anti-christ?
John 2:18-19
"Little children, it is the last time: and ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now there are MANY antichrists; whereby we know it is the last time. THEY went out from us, but THEY were not of us; for if THEY had been of us, THEY would of no doubt continued with us; But THEY went out, that THEY might be made manifest, that THEY were not all of us."
John says there were MANY antichrists in his day, and that they were amongst the early diciples by he says they were not of them. John goes on to explain who THEY exactly are; John 2:22
"Who is the liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? HE IS THE ANTICHRIST, that denieth the Father and the Son, whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father, but he that acknowledge the Son hath the Father also."
John says that anyone who denies Jesus His Divine right as the only begotten Son of the living God, is an antichrist, clearly according to the Apostles if you are not a Christian you are an antichrist, in that day and in our day, it is the same, there are many antichrists; a muslim is an antichrist, a jew is an antichrist, an atheist, a hindu, a pagan - all are antichrists.
Now who was given to Jesus? Because the ones not given to Jesus by the Father were the antichrists in John day, they were with John and the Apostles and the first diciples, but 'they went out from us', John says. Jesus says "When I was with them in the world, I kept them in Thy name: Those tha Thou gavest Me I have kept them, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled" John 17:12.
So Jesus saved all of the sheep that were given to Him of the Father and lost none, Jesus said He came 'only for the lost sheep of Israel' Mt. 15:24, after He had saved the remnant of Judah whom made up the Apostles, it was nessessary that the Gospel go first to Judah, then to the lost sheep of Israel whom were as Peter says scattered abroad and it was to them that the Gospel went after the Christ had risen. 'I will smite the shepard and the sheep shall be scattered.' Mk 14:27
So who are those that were not His sheep, who were there but went out antichrists and not believers like the true sheep? The answer is in John 10:24-27
"Then the Jews round about Him - 'How long dost Thou make us doubt? If Thou be the Christ then tell us plainly."
Jesus answered them "I told you, and ye believed Me not: the works I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me. But ye believe Me not because ye are NOT OF MY SHEEP, as I have told you. My sheep hear Me and they follow Me, And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and neither shall any man pluck them from My hand. My Fathere which gave them unto Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand, I and My Father are ONE!"
Then the Jews took up stones to stone Him again."
It must have infuriated those Jews, as Jesus said they were not His sheep, but clearly Jesus knew exactly what He was talking about and these Jews were not His sheep, and yet we know that He saved all His sheep that were given to Him, and there were some there that were not His sheep, they were antichrists. These were the first antichrists in Jesus' day and there were many, just like today ther are many, many antichrists in the world.
