Marriage isn't ultimately about sex in the first place - if you haven't figured that out by 35, you should wait longer
That's a flawed analogy because one has engaged in eating before. The eating cake example more matches with having engaged in sexual activity with others, one can then transfer that experience into having sex with a new partner. Same activity (eating: sex), different recipient of that action (cake: new partner).

Keep in mind that one person's "basic" might be something out of a biology textbook, while another's "basic" might be the entire Kama Sutra.

Wow kama sutra, that sounds like a fancy word involving some fancy techniques.

A person is something you can't "test drive" you mess with souls and soul ties. Just isn't the best combo. God Wants us to do what is righteous, he only tells you what not to do because it's the best for you. Because when we open those types of doors you damage not only yourself but the other person as well. I realize that can make it more difficult. But Changing your mindset is better then following what other people say.
Philippians 4 Think on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
