I’m an OEC, and subscribe to the ‘day/age’ position, as this has far and away the most evidence going for it. Not evolution, but fiat creation by God, over billions of years.

It is my belief that the angels were created before time as we know it existed. It is also my belief that there are three archangels: Michael, Gabriel and Satan – each having command over a third of the angels in Heaven.

As the Bible details to us, Satan was created to live in Spiritual Paradise (Heaven) until he sinned against God, then he was cast out with his third of the angels following him (fallen angels – demons).

Satan was cast to the earth and was allowed to enter Physical Paradise (Eden) – in which he once again was allowed to cause man to sin. Satan was the first spiritual creature to sin – then man was the first physical creature to sin – which set in motion the whole purpose for humanity to ‘multiply and fill the earth’.

The most likely scenario is that the entire Universe was created to provide an opportunity for redemption of these fallen angels, as a place to occupy flesh until their number is fulfilled. When their number is fulfilled, (i.e. the third) then God’s purpose for this Universe will have been completed.

As Revelation details to us, it’s a matter of riding the right horse….you can either ride the demon horse, or you can ride Jesus’ horse.

Our earthly experience is merely a physical consequence of the spiritual cause which occurred in Heaven.

Thus….I feel that we owe our whole existence to the original fall of Satan and his angels. Without this fall, we would not have even needed to be born.

If there had not been the Fall and sin then Adam and Eve would have been obedient to this instruction...

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
(Gen 1:28)

In other words they would have had offspring and you might have been one of them.

Sorry there is no grace or redemption for fallen angels. Jesus died on the cross for humanity which was created in the image of God. However, God has prolonged there judgement so that man can be tempted by them. We are in a fix. But if we place faith in the work of the cross then He sees us as perfect. The original sin forces us to place trust in our self. God wants us to trust Him. this is the dilemma we are faced with. However, faith placed properly in the cross breaks that power to trust self and follow the will of God in spirit.

As it is, our original parents did not multiply until after they had committed sin....and God repeated this very same command to the eight surviving the flood.

We have to ask ourselves what is so important to God about populating the earth with sinful man?

A close look at Gen 5 informs the reader that only Adam & Eve were created in the image and likeness of the Triune God.

Everyone afterward was begotten in the image & likeness of sinful man....this is where the original sin concept has its genesis...

Yeah I get you. But if Adam was created in the image of God so would his offspring, however tainted with the fleshy lust for sin as portrayed by the bible. we are born and driven to sin because we inherited it from our earthly father. Faith in the work of the cross, breaks this power, as long as our faith is in the cross and not what we are doing in the flesh.

Do you even hear what you're saying?

This is silly and there's no evidence for such a belief. Fallen angels can't be redeemed. They had their chance and they were in the very presence of God, in His throne room. Here's a nutty idea: let's take what the Bible says as Truth. The Bible says the universe and everything in it was created for the glory of the Lord and we were created to worship Him, walk with Him and enjoy His creation. Also, to govern and produce offspring to enjoy and love God. I'm going with that option.

Thus….I feel that we owe our whole existence to the original fall of Satan and his angels. Without this fall, we would not have even needed to be born.

What an odd conclusion.

Scripture only states that Adam & Eve created in the image of The Creator.

Everyone else is begotten....and begotten of fallen Adam.

Scripture states that the fallen angels (demons) are on earth, with us, and await judgment.

Why would God need a waiting-period in the first place?

Unless, of course, there was a plan for redemption.

Everyone else is begotten....and begotten of fallen Adam.

Why does it even matter? What is important is that anyone redeemed by the blood of Christ is reconciled unto God. Those redeemed are the sons and daughters of God.

Everyone asks the question why they are here.

Scripture should contain the answer...

Our purpose and the reason for the universe was so that a creature could become a Child. The Salvation story is not to restore us to the perfection of Adam and Eve, but to elevate us into full communion with our God as Sons and Daughters of the Most High.

I also can not help but get the feeling that some of the things you stated are a mixture of Christianity and New Age.

I do not agree with your final conclusion.

So....a reunion...?

Lol I would say you somehow have fallen into an illusion and gotten everything mixed up and backwards. However that is okay cause I still like ya brother and I have pondered stuff like this before too. However the flaw in this theoy's logic is simple actually. You are assuming Satan is an angel/fallen angel when in fact this is found no where in the Bible. Satan is not an angel, he lieks to pretend to be an angel, and the Bible describes this character satan (which means Adversary) as an animal. The account of the fallen angels or fallen ones (meaning of Nephilim) happens well after That Old Serpent committed the very first sin of all time by lying to mankind and causing himself and mankind to be cursed and lose immortality. Lol you just accidentally got the two events mixed up most likely due to a common misinterpretation of the Lucifer Prophecy. That's okay like I said this actually a comon misinterpretation, thus why its so easy to dispel. To put it quickly, the Lucifer Prophecy is a prophecy against Babylon and Nebuchadnezzar. This prophecy is all ready fulfilled during the time of Daniel.

EDIT: Also I am not totally sure and thus our purpose and my own in Creation is a great and excellent question worthy of ponderance that I too ponder. So far the most I know is before man fell it seems mankind was happy and good and made in God's image, so perhaps that was our purpose or part of the purpose at least.

I think you'll find that the prophecies against the King of Tyre etc. were two-fold. They were prophecies against both the human ruler and the demonic ruler. Comparing and contrasting them if you will.

Perhaps, though I suppose I don't know much about demons besides their prevalent existence in all cultures and how those that are subjected to them seem to undergo hardship, thus implying they are negative and you should probably not try to mess with them or wish them on people lol.

Perhaps King, Prince of Tyre and Zidon/Sidon all had demon rulers, lol the ancient pagans back then were into pretty whack stuff assuming they were pagans seeing as the prophecy condemns them for setting up pagan idols on the mountains. Maybe not though, gotta remember some men are just pretty crazy all by themselves. Either possibility could be implied I suppose in the prophecy though keeping it at its literal most I think most strongly lays out the reasons for why and what will happen to those Ezekiel was sent to prophesy against without any need to add demons into the mix. Also this prophecy came to pass.

Sorry for double post, just missed out on edit time lol

Also, I forgot to mention the above Ezekiel (chapter 28) Prince, King of Tyrus and Sidon/Zidon Prophecy is not the same as the Lucifer Prophecy of Isaiah which explicitly refers to the king of Bablyon. The infamous Lucifer Prophecy is Isaiah Chapter 14.

Some angels seem to have their own physical bodies. How they differ from our physical bodies is another matter though. So I don't think it was necessary for humans to be around for them to occupy someone, especially since Satan could tempt Adam and Eve without having ever occupied them.
